As we can see many people can't have a smooth journey on bus or cars. They feel vomiting.
This happens for "motion sickness ".
So let's have a discussion:
Motion is sensed by the brain through different pathways of the nervous system including the inner ear and the eyes.
While walking or having any other intentional moves, all the inputs from this pathways are coordinated by our brain.
But when we ride on a bus or car, the fluid inside our inner ear moves up-down and right-left. So it detects that the body is moving and passes the same message to the brain. But at the same time, our eyes passes the message that body isn't moving.
So, at this very stage brain faces a contradiction and becomes confused. Brain takes the situation as a poison.
To remove the poison from our body it causes "vegal stimulation". For this some people vomit.
According to this hypothesis, when a man sleeps while travelling doesn't vomit because that time only the inner ear passes message (as eyes are closed, they can't pass message). So, no contradiction happens and so no vomiting (no motion sickness).
