Daily Diary (D-1) Dear Self, You went through hardships in life since you were a kid. You struggled a lot in so many things. I really admired you because you are strong like a hundred year old temple. You never give up even how many times life have thrown you with so much heartaches. You are still standing with stronger heart and soul. Giving up was never been your option hence, you have faced even the strongest storm comes your way. Your life is full of sadness and miseries but you never dwell on it instead, you embraced and accepted it. Keep going self!
My Letter To Myself Dear Self, This time you’ve learned a lot of things. In 5 months being away from your true friends and family, you’ve become stronger each day. You’ve enhanced your patience (a little bit only), you’ve improved your gardening skill, you’ve improved your cooking skill, you’ve improved a little bit of your writing skill (you didn’t do this before, but since before you really love to write an article but you do not know how to start it), you’ve improved your confidence of posting your own article in social media which you never did that before, you’ve gradually adopt the new technology, you have a lot of e-wallet now, you’ve started to love the on-line transaction which you hated before, you’ve started to accept yourself fully including your flaws. Please save your strength that you’ve gained today because tomorrow will always have a tougher battle. But don’t worry self as long as you have the knowledge of connecting the dots, there’s no reason to be afraid of. Cheers to more adventures in life!
My HIVE Confession: My First Encounter with HIVE March 16, 2020, it was the first day of Enhance Community Quarantine in our place, I was informed late in the afternoon. We are almost ready to open the bar for regular operation but there was a man who came in and informed us for the compulsory temporary closure due to covid-19 and he added that if we would not follow the order from the Mayor we will be penalized for violating the executive order. I was hesitant to believe him because first, he did not able to present his ID proving that he is a government worker and second, he did not bring letter from the mayor or a copy of executive order. Even how hesitant I am during that time I still followed him. I don’t know what to do during that time because I was concerned of the large stocks that I had (from meat to vegetables). On the next day, I called the office of the Mayor to confirm if the information I received was valid and someone confirmed it. I asked him if until when and he answered he also didn’t know. So that time, I started to panic, I didn’t know what to do. I do not have an alternative for a living. Last week of April 2020, I got a message from one of my friend and he recommended many legit applications to earn money. I grabbed it immediately. I installed it, studied it and started doing the game/task immediately. After a week, he sent me a link of coins.ph, I asked him about the link and he answered that I could have a daily income if I will use **hive.blog platform** and he added that I needed **coins.ph** for the money transaction. At first I am not interested of the idea because I am not the type of person who loves to embrace the new technology. I was hesitant at first because there are lots of scam incidents happened recently in different platforms. But because I wanted to have a daily income I created an account of **coins.ph** and in **hive.blog**. I had a hard time creating my **hive.blog** **account** and it was my friend who created an account for me. He is so kind. He asked me to also install an exchange platform, he recommended 3 platforms during that time but I chose **Binance** as my exchange platform. I also had a hard time in binance at first because of 2FA. I do not know what is 2FA during that time. And I also have to install **google authenticator**. Sometimes I complained to my friend because of the long process but thinking to quit was not my option. I pushed myself everyday. I studied the process of money transaction from **coins.ph** to **binance** to **hive.blog** account. When I already familiar of the money transaction I tried it immediately. At first, I had a long time to process because I was afraid of committing mistake because it is money matter. May 2020, I officially started to operate my h**ive.blog account**, since I was new to the platform I don’t know how to operate it. I had a hard time and sometimes I stopped using the platform. My friend recommended a **peakd.com** for an easier way to operate the platform. I was happy because it was indeed an easy way to use. I posted everyday in my account. Sometimes there are disappointment of the vote value because I only have a small amount of hive power. So what I did when I have an extra money I keep buying hive and and powered it up. I was happy because I never quit in studying hive.blog, from money transactions to operating the hive.blog until I am fully aware of its process. It was not an easy journey as saying goes “**change is hard at first, messy in the middle and gorgeous at the end**.” So grateful of my friend for he recommended me this platform, I really love it eventhough I had encountered many hard times but as **Robin Sharma** said in his book “The Leader Who Had No Title” “**no discomfort means no growth**”. So grateful that I embraced the discomfort that the hive.blog gives me because I learned new things. When some of my friends asked me how am I during this pandemic I told them that because of this pandemic I was able to graduate a new course of BS in crypto currency major in hive.blogging (just kidding).
Siblings There were many times that we dont talk each other. We fight often because of our differences. We even blocked each other in our social media account for us to easily forget the pains. We stopped communicating with each other because we also value our inner peace. But as we look back in our younger years, many times we shared laughters and tears. May our love with each other as family bring us back together me familia!
How I Collected Crypto Currencies? Once upon a time there was a friend of mine who informed me about crypto currencies, in fact, he expressed his willingness to guide me for free on how to become part of the crypto world, however, I turned him down. Then the pandemic has come. The government was strictly implemented the Enhanced Community Quarantine last March 16, 2020. We are on temporarily closed. I don't know what to do during that time. How I Cope Up Depression Due to Severe Acne This acne is genetic. Even how often I visited dermatologist and even how many times dermatologist prescribed strong antibiotic for me they still appeared all over my face. There were many times that I dont want to see in the mirror because of the severe acne. I cried a lot and often became depressed. I hate to attend gatherings or even seeing my friends. I just want to stay alone inside my room. Until 1 day I let myself believe that the beauty inside is more important than the beauty outside. That God has a better plan for me. Since then, I dont care what other people have to say or how they react as they can see my face full of acne. I just smile and tell.them that I am still beautiful. The Leader Who Had No Title by Robin Sharma Who among you here who have already read "The Leader Who Had No Title" by Robin Sharma? I love most of his books because it really helps me to improve myself. It's my guide on how I can improve daily. I do not know if you will agree that we need mentors and coaches in our lives. They will guide and help us to improve our level of maturity and to make decision in a complicated situations and also help us to see the lights when we were engulf of negativity. Even though I do not know him personally but I treated him as my mentor through reading his works. His script was great, in fact I jotted down most of his quotes he had incorporate in his book. This is one of the quotes I have in my notebook because I want to remind myself that I need to be bold, that I will not focus in my fears and weaknesses. ***"Scared gets you nowhere. Lucky people don't get lucky. Lucky people create lucky. And they do this by taking bold risks and seizing excellent opportunities." by Robin Sharma*** I hope you will read this book too. I also open to any book recommendation. I would love to read that. What is your favorite book? Please feel free to share it to us. Happy reading! Please subscribe if you like this content.
Nature #04- The Advantages of Having Fruit Trees in the Backyard Who loves fruit? Who loves planting fruit trees? There are people who only loves eating fruits but not loving to plant it. When I was young I love planting trees, flowers and vegetables. The happiness that I feel after planting was genuine. It is free and yet the effect both in physical and mental is so priceless. In this article, I have to cite three (3) advantages of having fruit trees in the backyard: ***Fruit supplies at home is free*** Absolutely, since the fruit trees will definitely give fruit. You would not spend much money for your daily fruit consumption because you can have and eat it for free. Assurance of a chemical-free is 100%. ***Gives clean and fresh air*** Have you noticed when your home is surrounded by many trees it won't easily get dust? It is because the trees will protect you from the dust. It won't directly enter to your house because the trees will definitely block it. ***Shades us from the sunlight*** Who loves to stay under the tree during summer time? Count me in because I love to stay it there. Just staying under the trees will help your body relax from the heat of the sun. We've learned it from the medical experts that too much exposure from the sun can absolutely damage our skin and it has a bad effect to our health, too much exposure will lead to heat stroke and other health complications. So let's start planting trees today and let us help save mother earth. What fruit tree/s do you have at home? Feel free to share it to us.
Almost 1 week since I didn't watch movie. Hmmm, maybe i should watch 2~3 movies tonight. Movie marathon tonight with a glass of wine. How about you guys? What is your plan for tonight?
Nature #03- Plant Now and Harvest Later These pictures was taken 4 years ago. I was with my mom, sister and nieces. We visited our relative's farm and we're so lucky during that visit because we were able to harvest vegetables by our own. The farm is so huge and they also have rice field. This is the rice field of our uncle and this is one of their source of living. They planted it by themselves.

How I Gradually Overcome My Shyness Hands were shaking, knees were trembling, stuttering, neck and all-over the face were getting sweat, and heart beats fast. I do not know if you also have this feeling when speaking in front of the crowd because these feelings are present every time I speak in front of the crowd. I am an introvert since birth. And delivering speeches is one of my greatest weakness. So one day I made something unusual, I pushed my self to do something different. My work assignment during that time was in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental meaning I live away from home. I have no friends and no colleagues except my 2 siblings. My life during that time has no inspiration so I pushed myself to do something unusual, something that could help me to overcome my shyness. These are the 3 things that I made so I can gradually overcome my shyness: ***Searching for a public speaking organization*** Yes, I searched "Toastmaster Club" and luckily there are 3 clubs near me. I chose the club that was close to my apartment. I texted the club and they replied me immediately. They informed me about their weekly schedule meeting, in fact, they invited me to visit their club. ***Attend the club's weekly meeting*** Even though they are all strangers to me I still attended the toastmaster meeting. At first I was anxious because I do not know them and have no idea of the agenda. As the meeting started, the toastmaster of the night introduce me to everyone. They all welcomed me. There was a part of the meeting which they called a table topic, the toast master of the night will chose who among the attendees answer one of the topic, you are only given 1~2 minutes to give your impromptu answer. I was invited to try and yes, I tried, I never refused because that was my goal to start speaking in front of the crowd. My knees trembled, my hands shaked, I stuttered, I got sweat and my heart beats fast but I still pushed myself. I don't care how I delivered my answer, all I cared that time was to speak in front of the crowd**.** **Officially join the toastmaster club** Yes, I signed up , paid the membership fee and I officially became a member of the toastmaster club last December 1, 2018. I was happy during that time because I was able to mingle different people and speak in front of them. And I would never forget this picture, because in this picture I delivered my first speech in front of the innovative, smart, intelligent and talented individuals. They let me read my speech because it was my first time but my evaluator told me not to read my speech next time. I failed to continue my membership in toastmaster club because my mother asked me to go home in Leyte last March 7, 2019. But still I have plan to continue it because I still wanted to enhance and develop my public speaking skill. How about you? What is your public speaking story?
My Journey in the World of Entrepreneurship When I was young I really hate summer because that's the time for me and my siblings to sell mangoes, mango juice, puto kutchinta, puto cheese in our village and in the next villages. We sell it door to door and we could only go home once all products was sold out because if there are lots of remaining products it means its a huge loss. I could still remember how I worked hard just to finish my college degree because I really wanted to work in a prestigious company, wearing a nice office uniform and working in an air-conditioned office. I thought working in the office with a nice office uniform is much better than selling. I thought it will give me a high salary. Year 2008, yes I made it, I graduated college with a degree of AB Industrial Psychology, was so happy that time coz I knew I am closer to my dream and I knew I could earn a lot of money because I already have my college degree and I could work in the office. July 2008 I started to work as an HR Practitioner in a multi-national manufacturing firm, at first I was happy and contented because aside of financial earnings I also earned a genuine friendship but few years later I've realized that my financial earnings is not enough for my needs and wants especially when the needs and wants increased. Even how often I rendered overtime at work, it is still not enough for my needs and wants. When I looked back in my younger years, I regretted the time when I cried and felt shy everytime my mother asked me to sell her products. I realized that the earnings of vending is much better than being employed. Year 2007 I resigned from my work, focusing in HR functions is no longer my job. I already shifted my career from HR Practitioner into an Entrepreneur. And now, I am currently handling one of my family's business. It's a Restobar. My younger brother created the business and named it as "CHILL TA BAI".
Nature #02- The Magic of Nature This picture was taken 2 years ago. I travelled alone from Dumaguete, Negros Oriental to Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. My mood during that time was melancholic because of the project refusal from a client. I tried to close my eyes and get some rest while on the bus but the scene was kept running in my mind. There were times that handling rejection is so hard and made you depressed. Since I could not sleep I just stared outside, stared to nowhere. But my bad mood was suddenly disappeared as I saw this magical view. The view really made me smile. This is the magic of nature. It gives you an inspiration, a new hope, strength and help you to smile again and helps you to appreciate what life gives you.
Nature #01- How I Saved Trees When We Built Building Extension? We were taught the importance of trees during our elementary years. We were taught how to plant it and how to take care of it until it grows. However, when we get older we gradually forgot what we had learned when we were young. We forgot how to take care of our environment and how to save it when it is in danger. In this article I would like to share it to you on how I saved Trees when my family and I have decided to build an extension for our restobar. To commit a sustainable business is my top priority as I entered in the world of entrepreneurship. These are my 3 ways on how I saved trees: **Design an environmental-friendly building** I am not an Engineer nor an Architect but I designed the building by my own. My goal is to save trees. I want them to stand still despite of the business improvement. **Give clear instruction to the contractor** I presented my building design to the contractor. I instructed them well not to cut trees and make sure that the building will still safe especially during rain. **Check the daily progress of the building construction** I was with the contractor from day-1 until the construction was finished. There were suggestions and comments I gave to them while the construction is on-going. Thankful that they diligently followed my designed. So as you can see in these pictures Jackfruit and Lanzones trees were stand still, in fact we were just harvested 3 big jackfruits. Let's help save mother earth. When my friend told me about this book maybe 5 years ago (I could not remember the exact year) I immediately grabbed my own copy. I Am A Thalassophile I was always beaten by my mother when I was young because there were many times that I go swimming in the sea water without asking her permission. She does not want us to go swimming without someone who can guard us while we are in the sea water. Our house is situated nearby the sea so it is easily for us to go for a swimming. I could not remember that there was someone who taught me how to swim. I learned it by myself. I don't care about my complexion because I care more about my happiness, even how many times my mother nagged at me because she's so concern about my complexion, I still don't care and don't listen to her. Last year, I brought my mom in Boracay Island for a 3-day vacation. Do you know what? I really regretted for bringing her with me because even in front of my friends she kept nagging at me because I spent most of my time at sea. Vitamin SEA. My happiness. My stress reliever. My LIFE.
