something beautiful that i learned from my book is that, closure doesn't actually serve us. if you can't move on from someone because you're waiting for the words, the reasons, the explanation—the closure, STOP IT. it won't heal you or bandage your heart. it just a way for us to not let go and just keep holding on. it won't dissolve the pain because the truth is— it will just add a reason for us to heal and move on. the ache will just hurt differently but nonetheless, we still have to heal by our own. something beautiful is—“no closure is a closure. half-ending is still an ending.”
