Have you ever think if a woman will be the one to court a man? We always have the notion that men should be the one to court because it's not the women's responsibility to prove their feelings and sincerity towards a certain person. In fact it sounds taboo whenever we will hear about a woman courting a man. Is it really okay for a woman to court a man?

We always have the mindset that a woman is a precious being and a man should do everything to prove himself that he is serious and deserving for that love. There are many ways a man can court a woman, some will go through beautiful places to confess their feelings for a woman they desire while some will visit the house of the woman to introduce themselves to the family. Ever since the world began, it is always the man who should confess their feelings for a woman and the woman should do nothing but to wait.

A woman is like a jewel and a man should do everything to catch her

If you are a man and you really want that woman to be in your life, you should do almost everything that you can, just to show you how much she means a lot to you.

What if you are a woman and there's a man that you really want to pursue? Are you going to wait until he will asks you? What if he has no idea about what you feel not until you confess your feelings to him? What if he doesn't have plans to court yet you are very serious to pursue that man in your life? Are you going to wait for nothing or you'll do something that will change the whole story?

This is the reason why women cannot chose very well. We only have to wait for a man to court us and decide whether the person is deserving to be given a chance in our lives. It would be a lot better if women can also court a man so that when we will see a potential from a certain man, we can openly express ourselves and have the chance to select the one that we think is the best for us.

It might not be a popular idea that women should court a man because we are always taught that women shouldn't be the one chasing the men. However courting is not about chasing, it's about expressing your real feelings for a certain person. If a woman will see how good the man and they don't want to miss the chance to be with that man, there's a possibility that when they will take the chance to court that man bravely, they can end up together and have a good foundation of relationship.

Both gender are just the same humans and it's not only the men who can always do the first move, women can also. The only thing that stopping the women to do so is because of the standards of the society. It doesn't mean that when a woman courted a man then the woman already lowered herself, it is not about putting yourself below the standards. We always have the freedom to chose and to express.

I believe one day people will start to change their ideals. We all know that in the past, women should not be working because they should be at home cooking and serving the family. Today the world has woken up that women are not made for house purposes only and they can also work just like the men. Think about how the gender roles changed from the past. Do you also think that the way of courtship will changed one day?

If men can chose the woman that they want, why can't the women chose the man that they want too? Isn't it unfair to think? I believe we have a gender equality and one of that is to stop the stereotyping of each gender. A man is not always strong. A woman is not always caring and soft. Courtship is such a beautiful word especially if everyone has the chance to know someone better.
