Youth is the golden era of our lifetime. It is the first blooming flower that grows in the field. It is the time in our lives where we are happy as the sunlight shines. It is filled with young and happy memories. It is filled with never-ending adventure and discovery. There is no limit and it is the time where we are certainly free to do anything we want in life.

United Nations defines youth as those persons between the ages of 15 and 24 years.

I have wondered if I really enjoyed my younger years. I am still young until now but in a few years from now, I will soon be over in my youth phase and have to face the hard realities of adulthood. I have never wasted anything in my life. If there's one thing I haven't experience yet, it is the forbidden things that other teenagers break. Well, that certainly doesn't mean my youth is wasted just because I didn't experience such things. I guess we are all really unique.

Here are the things I have experienced and those I have not experienced yet.

I don't have the FIRST kiss

This is something I would never like to do. Not being a conservative but I really don't like the sensual intimacy with someone especially if they are not going to be my partner forever. I really don't want to kiss someone just because I am curious of that, if I would have a kissing experience, I would make sure that person is my permanent partner in life. So, in my youth, I have never dared to let someone kiss me nor I wanted to try kissing for a second.

I've NEVER had a one night stand

This is so overrated right now, especially these days that everyone is tolerating the freedom of having sex anytime. I would never open my vulva for someone's temporary enjoyment and satisfaction. I do not care if the girls at my age have been indulging a lot of sexual activities, I respect their choice in life. Again, I am not a conservative but I just don't want to offer my body for free. I don't deserve a slapsoil owning my body. So, I am proud to say that in these younger years of mine, I am not hooked on the sexual stuffs.

I have NEVER been in a relationship

I have never tried dating someone yet. The people at my age are already in a relationship but for me, I am not ready to have that phase in my life. I know that this is part of our youth years but in my case, I would like to skip this part. It is something I am not ready or prepared to face in life.

I HAD a memorable high school experience

This is what I am proud to share in this world. My high school years are filled with colors and happy memories. I have been into a lot of craziness in the school and I am one of the craziest student at school. Whenever I will think about my high school memories, I can't help but laugh and wonder how in the world those things happen.

I HAVE experience of going to my classmates house to do group activities but we failed doing the task

Everytime there is a group activity, me and my group mates will only do half of the said activity and the rest is for leisure time like watching movies, taking photos and other things that are only wasting the time. Well, it was so much fun doing nonsense things.

I HAVE experienced cheating together with my classmates

This is the most difficult thing to avoid. When you don't know the answer, you really have to find ways just to pass the exam and this is what will always happen everytime there is an examination in my high school years, we will have a group chat where we will be sending all the answers.

If I would sum up everything, I can say I really have enjoyed my youth. I don't think I have wasted it. Every moment is important to me and creating beautiful memories is one of those. I don't have to do those forbidden things just to say I have a memorable younger years when I know I can do other things that will make it totally memorable.
