Since the time I pursue the Education field, I always ask myself if I am really destined to become a teacher. Sometimes I doubt myself if I can be a teacher. It's not that I cannot teach but due to the fact that being a teacher means you have to handle different kinds of personalities.

If you have wondered how I chose this field, it is because this is my passion. I did not choose this just because it is in demand or just because it is what everyone recommends. I chose this field because this is the career where I feel fulfilled. There's still so many things I am thinking about the field I have chosen but one thing I really know for sure, this is what my heart tells me to pursue.

These are the reasons why I totally pursue the education career:

I like teaching

It's obvious that entering this field means you should have the passion to teach. I do have that. I like sharing knowledge and I like everyone to learn in the ways I can do. I like comprehension and I like making people understand. This is the biggest reason as to why I have seen myself as a teacher one day. I do not find it hard to explain things because I really want to see everyone learning something new. There is something amazing when other people discover a new thing or they have learned something they have never learned before.

I like to entertain a lot of people

Yes, I am an introvert but I really love to entertain a lot of people. I think I am the great kind of introvert because I have the social skills. I am trying my best to become interactive all the time and it's not so difficult to me because I love to make people laugh and I love to hang out with everyone as long as we are good together.

I like communicating

One of the reasons why I pursue the field of education is because I like communicating. I am not good in my communication skills yet but I believe I can develop it. I have a fear of talking to different people way back before but it's a big miracle that I am no longer afraid to approach people. I believe good communication skills will give you a lot of friends in this world.

I like to learning from other people

It doesn't mean that you are a teacher then you should be the one giving learnings. Sometimes you also have to learn from the people around you. Being a teacher means learning never stop because you are going to learn from the lessons you are sharing. When I become a teacher, I would like to be the person who understands every students in my class.

I like to experience a school life journey

This is one of the reasons why I chose to pursue education because I want to experience the school life feeling in my whole life. I know there are people who really miss being a student and I am one of those for sure but when I'm a teacher, it feels like I'm a student too except I can teach already.

Despite all of the things I mentioned above sometimes I feel a little bit discourage too because other people in my country underestimate the teaching profession. For them, it's an easy course and easy job for people who can't pursue other careers. Well, I do not believe in that because I believe that the teaching profession is a very noble job in this world and I am very proud that I chose this career.

A lot of people doesn't like teaching while here I am in this world, very passionate to become one day. I understand why other people doesn't have a love for teaching. The field of teaching is not for everyone and sometimes I even doubt myself if I can be a good one. I have listen to what my heart tells and I call this as my 'calling.' There still so many journey and struggles I will meet along the way but I believe when you love something, you will never feel unsatisfied or unfulfilled of it.
