There are a lot of business opportunities in Philippines considering the demographic area. Filipino entrepreneurs are one of the most hardworking people who are very determined to succeed. There are many rags to riches stories about people who used to sleep in the street and now living in the widely built mansions. This kind of success stories prove that there are a lot of profitable business only if you take some time to research.

This kind of business are the less risky. Although they still possess risk, but unlike the other business they are highly profitable in the long run. So it's how you handle this kind of business determined how your success will be. This kind of business also has less chances of failing as they are considered profitable.

Street food business

Filipinos are huge street food lovers. It is not difficult to sell because all you have to do is to place your stall in a crowded place especially outside the school. This is proven to be one of the best way to gain sales because students who are coming and coming out from the school will always be hungry everytime they will see the street foods displayed. Not only student but even the people passing by. For a capital of PHP 5000 or $89.91, you can already start a little street food business and expand it as your profit increase. When selling a street food, you don't have to convince people to buy which is why it is very easy to sell.

Sari-Sari store business

Sari-Sari store is very popular in the Philippines. It is a neighborhood sundry store where the people in the community can buy basic items like soaps, shampoos, biscuits and other day to day basic needs. The minimum capital for starting this business is PHP 10, 000 only or $180.20 in dollar currency. The good thing about this business is that your products doesn't go to spoilage, so you can always store them at your store.

Carinderia business

Carinderia is one of the well-known businesses in the Philippines. It is a local eatery where the served viands are pocket friendly. This is very ideal for people who are rushing and wants to save a budget, students, employers and other people who have no time to pack for lunch and want to save money. The minimum capital for starting this kind of business is PHP 15, 000/ $270.29 for a starter and you can expand your business depends on how profitable it is for you.

Ukay ukay business

Ukay ukay business is a shop in Philippines where second hand items are sold like clothing, shoes and bags. This is very popular to the Filipinos as we are the people who believe that second hand items aren't bad at all. They're just the same to the original except we are not the first owner. If your ukay ukay store is in a public place where you have less competitor then it's easy for you to attract a lot of customers per day. The estimated capital for this business is PHP 40, 000.00/ $720.79 since you still have to pay for rental and hire a few workers who will asses you in this kind of business.

Fruit shake business

Selling a fruit shake beverage in the street is not difficult especially that Philippines is a tropical country. People want something that can ease the hotness of the climate and this is why fruit shake businesses are profitable. Drinking fruit shakes are the easiest way to cool down from the intense heat. When starting a fruit shake business the estimated minimum capital is PHP 3000 or $54.06 because this doesn't require workers and you don't need a lot of too much equipment.

The 5 business that I have mentioned are the most convenient and not too difficult to start. They are also profitable in the long term depends on how you manage your business. I believe we don't need a large capital when starting a business but we need a lot of knowledge and research before we begin. What other profitable kind of business do we still have in Philippines? Kindly Comment them down. Always remember that in starting a business, there is no immediate way of getting rich. It is sometimes a trial and error process. If you are very determined to succeed, you have to embrace failure before you will totally achieve the success.

Those type of business are really profitable here on Philippines, it's a matter of capital and also self learning about how those business works. In addition , an owner should also knew about different tactics on how to gain customers that should avail nor buy their products or goods.

Exactly. The reason why the other people fail after starting their business is because they are expecting that they will automatically become rich which is a big No No.
