Fish Shanghai or fish lumpia!

Hello, friends what's up, what a great wonderful day to all of us. Many struggles in life that we can not understand even though we try our best. Some things happen that we don't expect. That's why sometimes we look for something that can ease the boredom in our life. So beneath those struggles and boredom feelings, I choose to look for something where I can be busy, so experimenting is the first thing that comes to my mind.

I'm craving Shanghai roll many days ago so I try to make homemade fish lumpia. I don't know if I do right but I do it most simply and easily, with no sauteing at all, so if you are confused let's start it.

Fish Shanghai roll ( my version)

Ingredients:

Fresh galunggong (blackfin scad)

Carrots ( shredded in your desired amount)

Cabbage (shredded in your desired amount)

Whole corn kernel

Namnam (seasoning granules)

Salt and pepper to taste

Lumpia wrappers (spring roll)

Oil for frying

Procedures:

I clean the fish, I just use half a kilo then I steam it for 10-15 minutes, I let it cool then I remove all the bones of the fish, cut into small pieces and leave it clean in a bowl or small basin.

I shredded the cleaned carrots, I use 4 pieces of small carrots and slice the 1 whole small size of cabbage into small long pieces.

I combined all ingredients and then mix them very well. Just add seasonings, salt and pepper according to your taste.

Wrapped them in a lumpia wrapper or spring roll, and secure them well while wrapping to avoid the filling to come out.

Deep fry is better to achieve the crispiness and to be sure that the filling is cooked too. Put the fire at medium-low to avoid burning.

Drain to remove excess oil on it, and serve with your favourite sauce. It tastes delicious even without sauce.

Note: maybe it's better to saute the ingredients so its become more tastiest but for me what i prepared is delicious too as my family love it.
