Sophisticated Self-Control: What We Eat & Touch Spiritually Can Makes Us Clean Or Dirty

I remember there was an instance where the Lord showed in a vision/dream of one apostle a table of all kinds of foods and told the person to eat whichever he likes.

The old tradition of men have stricter self-imposed worship, false humility and harsh body treatment for not eating those physical foods that you love just because of old teachings from angels of "Do not touch this or that, or do not eat nor taste" etc. according to Colossians 2. Those acts do not teach us self-control but false meekness.

All these human traditions and rules don't teach us controlling our thinking or mind or intention because it's all traditions on the outside but don't touch and change us within or spiritually!

The Spiritual Dirts

Instead of restraining ourselves to not eat or touch physically or naturally, we must be aware of what we eat and touch with our minds and hearts, of what we eat within our spirits.

We must think if we eat rotten words from other people or our own words and allow it to root in us, if we touch spiritual dirts such as "lusting or coveting things not ours", if we speak uncontrollably of unnecessary words that don't edify us or the church (members), if we keep hiding our errors/sins that make us more guilty, add more into it as it is hidden of the our own burning fake cleaned leaves and do not repent to have a clean spiritual body to be able to be true and white as snow and then show who we really are in Christ 🤗. Do we really think we can hide from God? Ah! You deceive yourselves for believing you can run away from His presence, no we cannot.

We encourage ourselves and others to be true to who they are and be that excellent version of themselves. This is because of the grace given to individuals to change inspite of our sins and mistakes. Our humility to repent moves the father's heart of mercy. Accepting His own sacrifice thru Christ made us His life-giving sacrifice temple and we give back the glory to Him doing so.

The freedom of the new testament, the liberty from the "many subdivided angelic stricter laws", teaches us of self-control spiritually, from the kingdom within, because in Christ we don't need to wrestle or fight against other spiritual forces or kingdoms anymore and we do it from the clean river that eternally flows within us, that which washes us and supply our invisible hunger and thirst that only God can do. In Him is our self-control.

In Christ is the freedom from the laws that reminds us of our sinful nature!

Thus giving us back our power against temptation, the true liberty of loving oneself & another.

Without self-control I doubt that LOVE would be full and matured in us, therefore not seeing the Creator completely in and outside of us.

The Spiritual Medicines & Foods To Eat & Spiritual Things To Touch

If what we touch or eat physically or in the natural don't make us dirty, what are the foods and medicine we must eat/drink or touch to be clean?

The highest medicine, the bread of life, the water of life, the river of eternal kingdom with trees and leaves that gives us free of charge healing. The word of God - Christ Jesus.

Sometimes the dirty & ugly sickness and hunger/thirst we have cannot be cure and fill naturally or physically. There is something within us that search for more meaning, the lackness within that only God can fill up.

Taking natural drugs or foods or touching stuffs will not teach us not to covet things not ours, nor not taking your neighbor's wife or husband and avoid lusting, nor abstaining from witchcraft, nor respecting our being and others, nor having a good conscience, nor abstaining from over indulgence, nor having pure-excellence thoughts etc. because these all pertain on how to have self-control and it's on our will power founded in what Christ has done that teach us of self-control! It's done spiritually not naturally/physically. This is taking us into the freedom from being slave of our guilts & dead works into being a priest and king of life!

What makes us clean is the filtering and our empowerment of good emotions and thoughts, of what we choose to hear from others inspite of their many toxic comments, of what we plant within us that will give us later rewards and great fruits to reap.

Let excellent, pure, honest, lovely, praiseworthy, honorable and honoring, respectable and peaceful words and thoughts root and grow in your internal kingdom, in your hearts and minds, eat those words, spiritual foods and medicines that make you clean & green inside out.

In this path you are in a sophisticated way of controlling yourselves. An empowering life in the Spirit. Again whatever we touch or eat physically don't make us dirty, it's what comes out of our mouth, hearts, minds & internal world.

You are spiritually clean and snow by following Jesus. Kuddos.
