Please Don't Take my Man

In this article I would love to talk a bit more about sheating, and how different people react to it. Actually, first of all I would love to concentrate on the difference between men and women, when it comes to cheating. In my previous article, I was talking a bit about cheating in general, and if you are interested into that, you can see it by simpl clicking on the title of if. Want to find a husband?

Today, as you maybe can guess from the title I would love to analize a song by Dolly Preton, called Jolene. And, I am pretty sure that you have already heard this song. In case that you have not, I will leave it here, so you can hear it.

In some interviews she said that this song was made because of one woman, who was really around her husband. So, it is based on a true story.

At first she says, please do not take my man, do not take him just because you can. Later, she is talking about how pretty Jolene is and that she cannot compete with Jolene.

And, that is one very important thing I would love to take. We all know how pretty Dolly is, she is pretty, popular, she is funny and full of positive energy, but there is still someone who looks better than her, and who is more interesting to her man.

But, why is she telling that Jolene is better than her, when we all know how great Dolly is?

That is a huge problem that many women have. Many women are constantly scared that there is a Jolene, that looks better than they do, and that will come and take their man away.

Why are you comparing yourself with others?

Why do womane do that all the time.

You are pretty. You matter, you are enough.

The beauty industry is making women feel like they are not good enough. Beauty does not have any standard. And, no matter how 'good' Jolee looks, that does not mean that she is prettier than you are. What is pretty to me, does not have to be pretty to you.

Women need to know that they should not be scared of Jolene, it is not up to her. It is up to your man. She cannot take him, if he does not want to be taken away from you.

Next what she says in the song is that her man talks about Jolene in his sleep, and that she understands how easily Jolene can take her man. And, she says that Jolene can have any man she wants, but that she cannot love ever again.

Why do women underestimate themselves. If he calls Jolene in his sleep, that means that he wants her, not you, and it does not matter if she does not want him. You need to stop wanting him, after he stopped wanting you. You need to move on. He decided, and if Jolene decides that she does not want him, he will be with you only because he cannot have her. You will be the consolation prize for him. And, you do not want that.

You deserve better!

Many women can find themselves in this song, and that is not good at all. The moment when he decided that he wants another woman, the moment when you realized that other woman can take him, is the moment when you should break up.

Respect yourself. There are many men for you, but there is only one you for you. You can find another man, you can love again, but you cannot find another self.

Do not blame Jolene, do not hate her. Love yourself! Be grateful to Jolene, because she showed you what your man really is, and that he is not for you. He does not loveand he does not respect you.

Even if he loves you, but I doubt that, he does not respect you, and it is as important as love and even more.

So, when you notice a Jolene in your life, pick up pieces of your broken heart and leave.

Do not forgive that, do not gve him another chance, do not fight with Jolene. It is wrong to think that you should fight with another women for your man. Women do not have to fight for a man, he is not the best thing you have. He is not good for you, if you have to fight for him. You should not fight for someone, who wants Jolene, instead of you.

You can love again, and even if you cannot it is better to be alone than with someone, who does not respect you.

Women need to learn how to respect themselves enough to leave those who do not respect them.

You are pretty, you are good enough, and if he wants someone else, that is not connected to you. He wants another woman because of him, not because of you. And, you do not have to change and to fight. What you have to do is to respect yourself.
