When we think of 2020, maybe our insides are twisted! The Corona virus has changed the lives of all of us. Something to see is a different world for us, especially our children. School, college all closed! Did not have the opportunity to sit and talk with a classmate! Yet there were some good things in the crowd that seemed to help them grow mentally. And the good news is that children all over the world have embraced those good aspects, one of which is the book. The Washington Post lists some of the books selected from those books. There was little discussion about them.

Black is a rainbow color

It can be said that the book is absolutely for young children, but the funny thing is that the book caused a great stir among adults as well. There is no story to be told in the book, but in a few words, all the pictures are detailed and those pictures have described the pure beauty of black. Black birds, something that has been drawn from the bird's nest so that our children learn to grow up with a love for black. Let us never forget that black people are an integral part of our lives. Angela Joy has taken this initiative to make the minds of the children bigger with age and looking at the extensive discussions online, it is very easy to understand that the creation of the book is successful.

Swashby and the Sea

This wonderful book for children is written by Beth Ferry. The book is a New York Times bestseller as well as the Washington Post's list of the year. It shows how popular the book was among the children. Now let's talk about the story. The story is sweet but also tastes a little different like the salt water of the sea. Captain Schwassby loves his quiet life by the sea, so he is used to spending his days there, but one day a little girl and his grandfather come as his neighbors. In the quiet life of Shoasbi, the arrival of sound makes everything chaotic, so he wanted them to leave, even writing down the message to go to the sand of the sea, even though it was being erased by the waves! But what the sea wanted to tell him something he does not know! There is no reason to think of a mystery story, but we have to go to the story to know the whole story.

A Whale of the Wild

This wonderful book is written by Rosen Perry. In the stories of climate change, only our words come up, our gains and losses are explained and analyzed. So maybe the author has taken a slightly different path. In short, this time I heard that story. The main story is about a family of whales, the main character Vega. He and his family depended on fishing skills for their livelihood. So he was training to take charge of the family, but one day an earthquake hit the sea and he lost his brother. Vega uses all his skills to find his brother and through this search he finds a new life. Shark attacks make it difficult to move forward in contaminated water. One by one, the reader begins to see how climate change is making life difficult for the animals in the sea, will Vega be able to overcome that difficult life and take responsibility for the whole family one by one? No worries, we will find the answers to all the questions in the pages of the story.

Loretta Little Looks Back:

Three Voices Go Tell It (Loretta Little Looks Back: Three Voices Go Tell It)

When we listen to books written on historical subjects, we think of adult books. But this book is a complete exception, because it is written for children. Although the main content is written based on real context. Throughout the book, events of three generations are described in phases. From living as a slave in the early nineteenth century to the 1986 presidential election. In this world of human beings, people get disrespect only if their skin color is black. Although the story is about the gradual journey from darkness to light, the author Andrea Davis Pinkney has written it for the benefit of children, but surely the older readers will be able to read it with interest.

Twins

This story is a little different. Why? The reason is that this book seems to have been read by adults and teenagers more than children. If we go around the internet world, you will see thousands of older readers with their own opinions on various sites, where they started talking about the book as incomparable! Now let's listen to the story. The story of two twin sisters, who have similar food and clothing preferences, also have friendships, but after getting up to the sixth grade, the distance between them grows little by little. As a result of standing in the election for the post of class president, the previous friendship of the two also started to fade.

Throughout the story, author Varian Johnson takes us through a question, can sisters really last a lifetime? Or does it gradually decrease when it comes to middle school? To answer these questions and get a taste of the whole story, we must go to the Twins.

We Are Water Protectors

If we want to say the name of this book, then we have to say that it should be the same. Water should be careful and aware. With the help of illustrations in very short sentences, Carol Lindstrom wanted to remind the child that water is another name for water. The story goes that a venomous snake wants to mix poison in the water but a child swears that he will save the earth because if the water is not protected then the earth will not exist. In a few words, the author points to the protection of the key element of nature's survival. Only when our children grow up with this sense of justice will one understand the value of water. Not to mention a quote from this book, which not only children but also us should remember, "Water is the first medicine, it affects us, it unites everyone."

Finish the Fight

The book is written by Vernica Chamber to speak of some brave people. In this way, it may seem that it has been written for adults. Not really. The book seeks to shed light on the names that are not on everyone's lips. Everyone knows the few brave names involved in the movement that fought for women's right to vote, but where are those who fought for the right to vote despite being African, Asian, or Latin? Finishing the Fight is a silent reminder of what they are all about, and that's why the book is said to be the place to start looking for brave American women. As such, the book can be a great way to make children brave and convince them to stay involved in the fight for justice.

The Old Truck

The two authors of The Old Track. Jarrett Pamphery and Jerome Pamphery. Absolutely ideal book for young children. Throughout the book there are big pictures and small sentences. Although not a complete story, the book seems to appeal to children. Infinite international media says so. Children's imagination is a great expression on every page. The dream of an old truck in different colors, the natural beauty of the farm and the firm conviction to stick to the work, all this is in this small book. A little eye-rolling is like a colorful story trip! The book gained popularity within a short time of its publication due to its simple words and beautiful illustrations.

Last word

To ensure that children grow up emotionally, we must hand them books that will keep them interested and help them develop as well-meaning people so that we can feel free to reach out to the Washington Post.
