Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar has antifungal properties. Hence, it will eliminate the infection in a very efficient manner.
You can mix a half cup of apple cedar vinegar with 2 cups of water. The mixture should be heated to bring it to the lukewarm temperature. Dip the cotton washcloth into the solution and it should be applied on the affected area for 5 to 10 minutes. The apple cider vinegar can be applied 2 to 3 times per day for effective results.
Baking soda
Baking soda is commonly available in the kitchen all over the world. It has great properties to dry the skin and to heal the skin. It will balance the pH levels in the skin as well.
You should make a thick paste of baking soda by mixing 1 to 2 tablespoons of baking soda with water. The solution should be applied for about 15 minutes. You should wash the area and should wipe it dry.
The application of baking soda can be done 2 or 3 times to get the best results.
Aloe vera
Aloe vera juice can deal with the acidity and it has antiseptic properties. There will be a great relief from the burning sensation as well as itching with the application of aloe vera.
The aloe juice should be extracted from the aloe leaf. Before applying the gel, the affected area should be cleaned.
The fresh aloe juice should be applied on the skin and you can leave it. The gel can be applied 2 to 3 times per day and it will give great results.
Garlic and honey
Garlic has antifungal properties and it can be mixed with honey which has the soothing property.
Mix one or two medium-sized garlic cloves with one tablespoon of honey. The solution should be applied on the affected skin for about 15 to 20 minutes. Thereafter, the skin should be rinsed and it should be kept dry.
To get the best results, the procedure should be implemented two times per day.
Alcohol
You can also use rubbing alcohol which contains 90% of isopropyl which has great properties to heal the skin. It can also keep the skin dry. The fungus will thrive in moist areas of the body. Alcohol has antimicrobial properties.
A cotton swab can be used to apply the alcohol to the itching part. The solution can be applied 2 to 3 times per day.
Oatmeal and Epsom salt
The mixture of oatmeal, Epsom salt and lavender essential oil can be used to overcome Jock Itch. The salt will pull the excess salt from the skin. Epsom salt has antifungal properties.
Oatmeal and Epsom salt can be mixed in 2:1 ratio along with 10 drops of essential oil. The solution should be added to the bathtub and you should rest in the bathtub for about 20 minutes. Thereafter, you should rinse the body with fresh water.
Oatmeal will sooth the skin and the procedure can be implemented daily once.
Coconut oil
The rash can be contained with the application of coconut oil. The coconut oil has properties to avoid the moisture.
You should manage pure organize coconut oil to apply on the affected area. The skin can be left with oil overnight. Ideally, you should apply it at nights so that there will be a great convenience.
Lemon
Lemon has antimicrobial properties and it can be used to contain the infection in a very efficient manner.
Lemon juice and water should be mixed in 1:1 ratio and the solution should be applied on the affected skin. You can use a cotton swab to apply the solution on the skin. The solution can be present on the affected skin for about 5 minutes. Thereafter, you should wash the skin with fresh water.
You can apply the solution 2 times per day to get the best results. Even though there will be little pain with the application of the lemon juice, the patient will get great relief.
Onion
Onion has antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties. The onion paste can be applied two times per day to get great relief from the skin condition.
After grating the onion, you can extract its juice. The juice can be applied on the affected part with the help of a cotton pad. The mixture should be left on the skin for about half-an-hour. The skin should be washed and it should be dried later.
Cornstarch
Cornstarch is the most commonly used ingredient in the preparation of various kinds of baby care products.
If your skin is sensitive, you will get great relief by applying the cornstarch. There will be a great reduction in the itching and the moisture in the affected area will be eliminated.
The cornstarch can be applied on the skin a few times per day to get great relief.
