The uncommon thing; Common sense!

That is a common phrase for which many people have been saying all these while and some will even use it as an abusive word on other people telling them that they lack common sense, but as far as the phrase is concerned in reality, there is no reason why someone should lack the common sense that is expected of everyone to have. If anyone lack the said common sense, he or she would surely earn the punishment for it and it could be very harmful and disastrous as well as being irrevocable and sometimes it could be so funny what the cause of the things that request for our actions are.

I witnessed an incident at the place where I work yesterday and I was wondering if the person that was the victim of that incident was supposed to witness such an unexpected embarrassment. I would not want to bore you with much words before I continue and the short story is narrated below as it happened.

The person I will be talking about in the story is a colleague of mine and one of the most respected amongst all the personnnels that we work together, even the supervisors gives her credit for her intelligence and hardworking and even I know her for her great outspoken capacity which she is having. We work with uniform as the worker in the organisation which I choose not to mention it's name for some personal reasons. I as one of the workers have a uniform which I was asked to wear from Monday to Friday and a vest which was mandatory to be worn to work on Saturday and Sunday only. Because of the nature of the work, one day at work, one day at home.

I believe that the reason for the vest is so as to have time during Saturday's /Sunday's s evening to wash the uniform and press it properly with iron and that is very good. My colleague which I refuse to mention her name in this story would like to resign from work because she considers the work as too strenuous and stressful and fraustrating and even with her intelligence and hardworking she was not able to do the right thing. As our supervisors are briefing us on Friday morning, she came late and even was putting on the black vest of which she was supposed to wear during Saturday's or Sunday's.

As if that was not enough, also, she was putting on another different colour of belt entirely, a very attractive colour and she became so noticeably different and dazzling. Even the supervisor was confused at the sight and stood quietly for a while before saying any other thing. She was been asked why she was dressing differently and could not give a well convincing story. After Mr. Supervisor was done with his own speech too, he was having a hard time with that dressing and he mentioned it again but the young lady could not take it anymore, because of that she interrupted rudely and was instantly dismissed from the morning meeting.

Later, when some of our colleagues tried to enquire why she did like that, she said she had intention of resigning, but she never did but was fired. I think that is a big discrediting to her personality but she did not recognize that,if she had resigned properly, it would have been another thing, so different entirely for which she might have even been rewarded but instead of that she got what shamed.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, there are some little things that we should to to get honour,some responses which we should make and would have given us more credits but if we don't, we can be aaid to be lacking common sense and that would be bad because instead of honour, what we will be getting is shame and instead of gift, embarrassment.
