About communities!

6 13

Hello there,

I was reflecting about the communities on ReadCash.

Ok, they are probably working on how to have a better look on it. Your communities, the communities where you are moderator, communities you have subscribed, and all the other communities. A menu separating these categories to navigate is fully needed.

Maybe it will be wise to add an approval step when someone want to add one of your publication on a community. Asking the question would be fair. We need to have the choice where we want to see our articles. I submit the idea. I don't know if it was previously evoked.

What do you think about that?

Some music, as usual.. :0)

You got a valid point here my friend, i was thinking about this, found some notification saying my articles have been approved on some communities i never submitted article to. Surprisingly these were my older articles published even before community article approval started here

Old articles being included in Communities is not a bad thing. It push them to more visibility. Thank you very much for your comment! :0)

I have previously suggested @read.cash that authors must be able to remove their article from a community if they so wish. It is not enough that only a moderator can do that. They liked that idea and it surely will come somehow.

I know you mean that the authors approval should be required before an article enters a community - and yes, that is reasonable. I fully support that idea.

Thank you! I think it's fair and wise. :0) Oh, ok, once included, if you're not moderator, you can't exclude it from the community. That's true! (I've edited my article)

Yes an approval needed if one of your article is added by someone else.

It's a part of copyright that the creator has the right to the final word about in which context his material is published, so one can even say that it is illegal when communities can, in a sense, "steal" your article. You should at least have the right to refuse.

I agree with you. I also think that you can't submit any article to communities without the author approval. Maybe they will add that option soon. We have to wait and see.

I think, it's alright as to avoid confusions maybe. But in someways it's good to be jusy like this where we can read any articles from community to community. However, if you want it more personalize or with privacy, maybe they are working on it.
