Macario Sakay
Macario Sakay was arguably the greatest pirate during the American occupation. More than 100 years ago, most of the so-called bandits of that time were considered heroes of today.
Macario Sakay's birth date is unknown but he was born between 1869 and 1878 in Tondo, Manila. He first worked as a gig manufacturer. He also became a seamstress and stage actor. He has performed in shows such as Principe Baldovino, Amante de la Corona, and Doce Pares de Francia.
As one of the original members of the Katipunan, whom he joined in 1894, he joined Andres Bonifacio who fought the Spaniards throughout the Philippine Revolution. When Spain ceded the Philippines to the Americas (1899), he continued the fight for independence. He was taken into custody on a sedition charge but was also released on bail.
Sakay was one of the founders of the Nacionalist Party who promoted Philippine independence through legal means. The party appealed to the Philippine Commission, but the commission passed the Sedition Law, which aims to ban any kind of propaganda that proposes national independence. As a result, Sakay's group reconvened.
Contrary to popular belief, the Philippines' war against America did not end with Aguinaldo's capture. A small number of troops continued the fight. Macario Sakay's army was one of them.
No one can tell what Sakay's role and status was in the Katipunan but when Aguinaldo surrendered to the Americans, Sakay took over the leadership and declared himself the new Supreme Supervisor of the Republic of Aging, which he said encompassed all the islands of country from Central to Mindanao. Sakay outlined a constitution aimed at punishing the traitors or superiors of the enemy by deportation, imprisonment or death. In May 1902, Sakay's army declared their opposition to American rule openly.
In 1905, Governor-General Henry Clay Ide allowed the Filipino Labor leader Dominador Gomez to settle with Sakay's group. Gomez insisted that Sakay and his army would have to give up because their way was preventing the formation of a national assembly - which the Supreme Court realized was also a legal way to achieve autonomy - and its formation would serve as a gateway to the true freedom. Sakay accepted Gomez's offer and agreed to surrender to their condition: give him and his companions amnesty, let them carry arms, and allow them to leave the country. Gomez made sure there would be no problems on the other side. Sakay's camp even obtained a copy of the agreement from the Governor-General himself.
As a result, he and his colleagues surrendered on July 20, 1906. They had come down from the mountains on the promise of amnesty and a Philippine Assembly would act as a 'gate to freedom'. To Manila, they were invited to several parties. One of these invitations came from Constabulary Chief Col. Harry H. Bandholtz. But it's just a trap. Along with his lieutenants, they were disarmed and arrested as the celebration continued.
He was charged with "terrorism" under the Brigandage Act of 1902. His death sentence was a September 21, 1907. Killing. Here are his last words:
“Very soon, everyone will die but I will face the Lord calmly. But I want to tell you all that we are not thieves. We are not thugs like the Americans accuse us of. We are a true Katipunan who defends our Motherland. Goodbye and may Freedom be reborn in our future. ”

A Special Family ( Inspirational Story)
The Levins are a family. Eric and Joshua Levin are are brothers. Their dog is name Melby.
Eric plays the cello, and Joshua loves to play frisbee. Both boys are adopted, and both are Korean by birth.
The Levins adopted then when they were very young. Eric, who is 10 years old, was only a few months old when he became part of the Levin family. Joshua was two and a half years old and is 11 now. Eric doesn't remember anything before he came to America, but Joshua has a few memories of his korean foster family. Erich and Joshua our brothers through adoption. Each boy has a different biological mother; but in the Liven and household they are brothers.
Sometimes when the family goes out to eat or to shop, people stare out of curiosity. The boys used to embarrassed, but they are becoming accustomed to people's questioning looks.
They are many Asian children who have been adopted by American families, but Joshua and Erich aren't aware of it, because they are the only adopted Asian children and their school and neighborhood. There are other Asian children in school-Koreans, Chinese, and Japanese-but they all have Asian parents.
The Levins are not typical family. No one in the family is biologically related to any of the others. Nevertheless they are family, because they chose to be one. Like other families, they live together and play together. Most important, they share work and share love.
Nature of Beetle
Some people enjoy collecting beetles in order to observe with their behavior and learn about nature. The first step in beetle research is making a trap to catch the beetles.
A good way to collect ground beetles is to make a beat fall trap. You can set a trap in the woods or even in a garden. All you need is a jar or a plastic cup, four stones, and a small piece of wood. Bury the cap level with the surface and cover it with the wood and stones. Compare beatles but at different times of the day. Put some food in the cup and see what attracts certain species. Always remove the traps when you have finished.
Handling:
Beetles are easy to handle. Use a small paintbrush and a paper cup with a smaller ones because you can damage them if you pick them in your hand. Larger ones can be picked up but always be gentle. Do not worry if they give off a smelly fluid. This is their protection against predators.
Housing:
An old aquarium with net cover is the best container to keep beetles in. Ground beetles need a layer of earth and a bottom as well as pieces of wood and stones under which to hide. The lid must have plenty of holes, and the earth must be damb or the beetles will dry up. Make sure you put in a good supply of food. If you are keeping more than one beetle, make sure they are the same type, so they not eat each other. A shady windowsill is the ideal place to put your beetle home.
Feeding:
If the beetles are to stay healthy you must provide the right food for them. Sometimes it is difficult to know what they eat, so much them carefully before you collect them.
Releasing your Beetles:
When you have finished studying the beetles, always return them to the same habitat.

Your eyes not only help you see motion when you watch movies, they also observe the objects around you. They quickly adjust to different amounts of light, and see all the colors of the rainbow. Your eyes are like a camera.
The eyeball is covered with a tough, white layer, no not ask the white of the eye. However, on the sem part of the eye, this layer is clear and it is called the cornea. The cornea bends the light rays as they enter the eye. Then the rays pass through the pupil an opening in the eye that can expand and contract. The pupae looks like a tiny black dot, but it's really a hole.
The lens of your eyes lies behind the pupil. Like the cornea, the lens bends the light rays. After passing through the lens, on the retina-the black part of the eye. The image of is also reserved from the left to right.
Thousands of tiny cells called rods and cones cover the retina. A bundle of nerves called the optic nerve connects the rods and cones to the brain. When light rays hit the retina, the rods and the cones detect the rays and convert them and to signals that the optic nerve carries to your brain. The signals carry information about the color, size, and shape of the image you're looking at.
Your brain interprets this signals and tells you that you're looking. It also lets you know that image isn't upside down and reserved from left to right. Your brain helps you see that image as it really is. Now that you can see the image, you remember why you were looking for it in the first place.
Light enters a camera through a small, round opening. On many cameras, you can control the amount of light entering the camera by making the opening larger or smaller. The colored part of your eye the iris is a doughnut shape muscle that does the same thing.
And bright light, your irises contract, and your pupils get smaller. So less light gets into your eyes. This is a good thing, because too much light can damage that retina. In dim light, your irises expand. The pupils get bigger and more light enters the eyes.
Other things besides light can change the size of the pupils. Strong emotions, such as fear or excitement, can make the pupils larger. Taking certain medicine can also change the size of the pupils, causing them to get larger or smaller.

How The Sun Came Part2
So the buzzard traveled eastward till he came to the place where the sun was. And because the buzzard flies so high, the sun-keeping people did not see him, although now they were watching out four thieves. The buzzard dived straight gown out of the sky, the way he does today, and caught a piece of the sun in the claws. He set on the sun his head and started for home, but the sun was so hot that it burned off all his head feathers, and that is why the buzzard's head is bald today.

He is snapched a little piece of it and hid it in the fur of his fine bushy tail, but the sun was so hot it burned off all the fur, and by the time the 'possum got home he still was bare as it is today.
"Oh, dear!" Everyone said. "Our brother has lost his fine bushy tail, and still we have no light."
"I'll go," said the buzzard. "I have better sense than to put the sun on my tail. I'll put it on my head."

Fox was fishing in the river; when he had ten fish, he put them on his back and walked off into the woods.
Bear came along and saw Fox with the fish on his back.
" How come you have so many fishes on your back? How are you fishing those fishes out of the water?"
Fox said, "it's easy. You sit on the ice and put your tail on the river. The fishes catch onto your tail and when you get up, there will be all of those fishes just hanging on."

He got up and looked. It was true. His long tail had frozen off. All he had felt was a very short tail.
Bear was angry. He gave up fishing and run into the woods looking for fox. Fox was cooking his ten fish when bear grabbed him.
Bear said, "you tricked me and my beautiful long tail froze off. So now i'm taking you back to the river. How throw you and let you freeze."
"No," Fox said. "Don't do that. If you let me go, l'll give you all my fish."
So bear that fox go and ate all the fish himself and warmed his short tail by fox's fire.
Now all bears have short tails. This is how it happened.

My First Day in Read.Cash
Hello it's me again, I would like to share my experience here during my first day in read.cash.
It was June 11, 2020 and I didn't know how to workout my account in real.cash because I didn't know how to write articles. This is what I did because I had no experience in writing so I was wondering what would be good to do since I'm new to writing articles. You took me to places, abandoned dark rooms inside of me, places I didn't know need visiting.
You took me to an array of shelves-filled with books of things that once were, books that reek of yearnings and regret, unread for so long, left to rot in oblivion.
You took me to hallways that reek of longing, where the should haves and what ifs are safe kept.
You took me to places, abandoned lock dark rooms inside of me. And from within, you shone your light.
It was when....
I am telling you..... He was 18 when he was abandoned by his father. He was also 18 when he had been freed from the responsibility of taking his father's punches and kicks without complaining.
It was when he couldn't go to school not because he didn't have any money but because the gossips and whispers of his schoolmates while he was entertaining the premises of the campus always eats his very soul. It was when he couldn't play with his friends not because he was ill or he didn't have any energy to play but because he never felt the loved and care of his friends for he has none.
It was when he couldn't kiss or make love with his girlfriend not because his girlfriend was not there but because he just can't. He had none.
It was when he wanted to cry on someone else's shoulder for he couldn't handle the pain anymore but he had no one. It's only the apparition of fear and gloomy future that covered his sight that made the stars lose its ability to shine. For the stars were his dreams and they shine no more. It was his 21st birthday when the stars stopped shining. It was when he wanted to sing "Happy Birthday" to himself but he couldn't. Yes, it's terrifying-a HORROR!
It was also when he took a rope and tied it on his neck and bid goodbye to the skies of his broken dreams. Choking, he felt the pain. The pain's presence started to become unnoticed. Winds blowing, leaves dancing.
Years passed. Summer came, winters passed by. Body turned to dust, the framework remained. He lived lonely. He died lonely. He was always lonely.
