Team-Work
In an instant òr so in our respective lives, we have been grouped with some people that were called our Team and were tasked with the responsibility of doing something productive. It would then be left to the team and its leader to sit down, think and map out plans, designate duties/tasks depending on each and every member skill-set and how each and everyone would carry out his or her duties with the expectancy of good results. Every team must be co-ordinated, co-operative, èager to work and at least have a leader; all these attributes is what constitute to be Teamwork. An individual on his or her own might not be able to produce results by themselves and need the support and help of others to achieve said results. It can be in our place of work, our society or in our school, more hands leads to more results but in contrast to this popular idiom " Too many Cooks spoil the Broth" many can decide to not use many manpower but the real life case is how the many cooķs are used.
In the case of the stated idiom that "Too many Cooks spoil the Broth", it is very much true as when all the Cooks are directly involved in the cooking of the Broth like the stirring, seasoning, steaming, mixing and all, as different Cooks can have different approaches to Cooking and different style of hands òf cooking ( some stir softly, some stir violently, some add ½ onions, some add 1½ onions and so many differences ) and when all these are combined in direct application to the cooking of the Broth , it can be disastrous but when division of labour is applied to the case of the many cooks, efficiency is achieved. A particular cook can be tasked with the direct cooking while others can be involved indirectly in cooking the Broth like prepping down the ingredients, cleaning and sterilising of Utensils, cleaning the work station, setting timers and so more. In a team, there is no minor job... all job are as equal as they are all important in ensuring productivity, so one shouldn't say i have the most important job of all or that i have the most useless job of all ; all are key and vital and equal as well. When all these tasks are divided amongst themselves and done dutifully , an excellent result will be yielded.
Division of labour is an approach in a team where different steps in a line of production is being shared to respective workers and they are to work as a team while executing each of their given jobs - Teamwork excels well . This method of Division of labour has been known to be effective and time-efficient as it increases the rate of production and output. In a team, it is left for each and everyone to put trust and confidence in each and everyone of the team member to carry out their jobs. Not everyone would truly be gifted or bestowed with gifts and talents but we would all work towards getting better. Each member in a team can also look out for others in the team in case of where their jobs are lacking oŕ where correction is being needed as no single tree makes a forest and no single man bears "WE" . We are all each other keepers and guide.
Let all learn to work in unison and as a team as with such we would all excel together and be given gratitude as a Team. This is my little piece, thanks for reading and Have a nice day.
Teamwork is important to the success of any undertaking.
