Today i'm going to share with you a sweet recipe named gulab jamun..soo here is the method
Ingredients:
1)3/4 cup of powdered milk
2)1egg
3)2teaspoons of baking powder
4)1/2 cup of flour
5)1tablespoon of ghee
6)1teaspoon of sugar.
7)4 cup water
8)2cup sugar
9)rose water
10)2cardamom
11)ghee
12)Oil for frying
Methods:
Making sugar syrup:
Add 2cup sugar and lightly crusted 2cardamom to a pot. Pour 4cup water.boil this untill the syrup turns slightly sticky.to check this cool little syrup in a small plate Dip your finger in it and touch with your thumb. You should feel it is slightly sticky..if should not reach one string consistency.
(Note: (if you fail to make the syrup correctly then the jamun will not soak the syrup and turn soft. If you go past the sticky syrup stage,you will end up in a one string consistenc. In that case add little water and stir))
Add rose water.
#How to make gulab jamun?
Method:
Mix all the dry item well together. Then in a bowl..ghee,sugar,oil,egg should be beaten together. Now with the mixture of these eggs you have to smear the dried item with them.then apply ghee on the plam on your hand and make small balls.then add the ball into oil gently fry them on a medium heat for 1to2minute..but be sure not to crowd them.while frying they will increase in size.so provide them enough space in the pan.after 2minute of frying reduce the flame to low and fry untill golden brown..keep stirring gently to fry them evenly.. Then add them directly to the hot sugar syrup. Donโt dunk them with oil drippin.. The sugar syrup must be hot, not Very hot or steaming hot. Keep soak for 2 to 3 hour..
