Emotions are fleeting, how you feel right now will change and not matter in a couple of minutes or hours or days.
Separate yourself from that feeling of sadness or depression, it's a state of mind that can and will pass, it's not who you are.
When you're sad you can change it by thinking about something else or doing something positive to change how you feel, you have the ability to always change that feeling, so do it.
If you keep looking at the bad things in your life and continuously focus on them your life will keep going in that direction. Example, if you're riding your bike with your friend and you're looking at them and talking to them while riding, you notice your bike starts moving in their direction cause thats where your focused so you move towards it.
You need to find something you love that makes you happy and set a goal to achieve it. Focus on your goals and work towards it, wake up everyday and be positive and do your best to achieve them, don't waste your time thinking about all the other negative things.
