Finding Happiness in Small things

Finding happiness in small things is a big thing indeed. You meet a long time friend, you try out a new cooking 🍳 though a little burnt, watching a favorite movie, smiling at an unknown friend, getting a warm pat from your parents, becoming a child once a while, having fun with a naughty pet - if such things make us happy then we should continue even if someone stops us.

It's human nature, by looking into one's wealth and happiness makes another sad. Be content with what you have. Though we are in the comfort zone we compare ourselves with those who stand ahead of us. For one moment think of those who are below you. At that time we fail to count on the blessings we are poured in. Having healthy friends around you, at times of good and and bad are lucky ones.

While you are away either for job or for education and once you are back, the welcome happiness you receive from your family can never be counted upon. Sharing your thoughts with your old age parents will give them immense pleasure and security. And when you fulfill their small needs they will be cherished.

In short, happiness is like a chain which you keep giving, expecting nothing back. When you be the reason for somebody's happiness that's the greatest blessing you receive in a life time. You inturn receive respect, knowingly or unknowingly.

Thanking Almighty for everything should be constantly done. If you need to know how lucky you are make sure to visit an old age home 🏡 or orphanage, once a while. Some words of praise / appreciation for this helpless people makes a big difference in their lives. Be it small it doesn't matter. A one time meal in their company will make us happy 😊. We will feel very relaxed.

To conclude - A thank you note, a pleasing smile, a hopeful look to a desperate friend, looking more on the positive side are few things that can make you happy.
