You may not notice it for now, but this thing's main purpose is to magnify the insecurities that you feel and might lead you to do horrible actions. Watch out and guard your heart. The bullets of jealousy can possibly kill the shooter as well."

When was the last time that you stop comparing yourself from other human being?

When was the last time that you became grateful with the things that you currently have instead of continuously yearning for the stuffs that you lack of?

Would you still choose to count somebody else blessings instead of focusing on yours?

How's your heart?

Is it still full of love?

Or full of self-doubt?

Do you still feel enough?

Or seeking for other people's attention and validation?

Jealousy is counted as one of the worst attitude that an individual could possessed.

I've witnessed so many people hating this attitude and I must admit that I am also one of them.

However, despite of being against with it, we also cannot deny the fact that we have it within the deepness of our human nature as well. Humans are so vulnerable in emotions. Sometimes, such feelings is build up through experiences that triggers it to develop in the most unexpected moment, whether we like it not.

I've seen so many lives, relationships, and trust being destroyed by this thing called "jealousy". As far as my concern, it doesn't bring any good to anybody. In fact, I've come to realized throughout my experiences that jealousy and destruction comes hand and hand.

Envy will snatch your focus from your blessings to your lapses, imperfections and uncertainties.

It will make you feel that you aren't worthy and will never be enough. I mean, of course there would really be someone out there who's better than you. That's the reality. We have major distinctions from each other and that what makes us unique and incomparable. Our differences make us one of a kind and ourselves.

However, jealousy will tell you that failing to have the things that other people have is impermissible.

It was extreme resentment that leads a minor to execute a terrifying deeds. If you guys were aware with this trending gruesome murder, I am sure that you also know that the biggest viewed reason of such action is jealousy.

It was the story of Maguad family whom decided to help an orphan, let it stayed in their house and even supported her study. This happened all because of their daughter's request to help and let the orphan live with them since the two became close friends already. The parents agreed to their daughter's request and allowed the orphan to stay with them. Anyways, Mr. and Mrs. Maguad have 2 children, a 16 year-old boy and 18-year old girl. During the first month, the orphan named Christine (not her real name), stole 10,000 pesos or $200 from the family. They caught her and she begged for their forgiveness. The daughter asked her parents to forgive Christine and the parents granted her request. They forgot about what Christine did and started again. It was December 10,2021, 2:56 pm, Christine posted in facebook saying that three thieves invaded their house and was asking for help. The police responded immediately and reached the crime scene around 3:10 pm. But before the police, Mr. Maguad came first after Christine notified them in their messenger about what happened. He saw his children lifelessly lying in the floor, bathing with their own blood. The weird thing about it was, Christine managed to take a bath despite of what happened. She was already clean and her hair was wet when the father came. As the investigation goes on, they've found out that the forced being used in the Maguad siblings was not from a man but a woman. Aside from that, the weapons used in the murder was owned by the Maguad Family. It was so shocking and the netizens went wild with their guessing. At the end, the police found out that it was really Christine who murdered the Maguad siblings. However, they say that she wasn't alone when they did that horrible act. She's with unidentified person. As for now, since she was still a minor, she was sent to the DSWD and I no longer know any updates about the case.

Taking away two innocent and genuine lives just because of jealousy. Despite of the help that she received from the family, she still managed to do that to them.

Isn't it scary how destructive and perilous jealousy is?

I mean, we never know her main reason but if it was really because of extreme resentment, then it just clearly proves that such feeling should never be tolerated and spread.

You cannot make everyone around you love you. And most of all, it is impossible to acquire everything that other people have as well. Regardless, it shouldn't be a reason for you to feel bad and develop enviousness that will lead you to do immoral things.

Stop focusing on other people's lives. Fix your eyes on your own journey, path and voyage. You cannot duplicate or imitate them. So instead of doing it, try to make your own signature and legacy. Your own identity. No one can play your role better than yourself. Always remember that.
