Nothing like a sunny afternoon and the love of a girl for her squirrels. Emoci takes advantage of the chance to relax and pursue her favorite occupation, squirrel-watching at the Squirrel Tree (a sweet gun tree in the front yard I put feed at every day for the birds and squirrels). The squirrels accepted long ago that she is going to be there watching, so they usually ignore her unless she gets just a bit too close, and then up the tree they scamper and wait for her to back up a bit and lay back down, and as soon as she does they come back down to feed again.

I recall seeing this hilarious short YouTube video where a squirrel is munching away at a bird feeder, and this old guy comes running up and gives the squirrel a resounding WHACK. Maybe your cat has dreams of doing something similar one day?
