Hi guys! For this blog, I'll bring you to the one of the most historic places in the Philippines.
Exact place: Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine, Kawit, Cavite, Philippines.
*All photo were taken by me.*
Before the lockdown, me and my friends decided to go to this historic place in Kawit, Cavite.
Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine is a memorable place that holds many historic moments. This is the place where the first national flag of the Philippines was raised.
It's an old house of the late President that was turned into a museum-like by his family. There's no entrance fee, all you have to bring is any kind of identity card.
When late President Emilio Aguinaldo raised the flag as a sign of Independence and freedom of the country from many colonizers, during June 12, Independence Day was celebrated as a sign of continuous freedom.
This is my 2nd time to visit this great yet historic house of Emilio Aguinaldo. Different belongings of him was displayed here from his clothing up to his weapons.
Also, according to the Republic Act 8491, the Philippine flag shall be permanently hoisted on the Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine 24/7 and shall be illuminated by night. (see photo below).
If you're just like me who are still interested in history, you may want to visit this place. It will tells you what is behind the history of CAVITE.
