The Great Flood And The Albatross
In most civilisations you will find a myth of a great flood that swept the Earth. Indeed you all know of how God grew tired of the disappointment of Man and made it rain for forty days and forty nights to cleanse the world of his taint. Well almost every culture has some apocalyptic tale to scare the populous into behaving. A cautionary tale that reminds them of what will happen when they don't tow the line. Yet on this occassion, the time had actually come, and this time there was no prior warning to anyone. Neither man nor beast would survive this almighty deluge without some sort of help. And it rained, it rained A LOT.
At first the poor made temporary barges and reached the highest points on Earth. But as even they weren't good enough they pleaded to join the several sailing ships and submarines that took to the waters. Even they weren't safe, for they could not take everyone and the seas were rife with debris. Many a ship was torn apart and many a soul drowned in the relentless rising waters and fierce tides. Some aquatic mammals tried to ride the storms, especially the salt water ones. But the sea was now tainted, a mix of fresh and salt water and the imbalance was affecting everything. Trees were uprooted, coastal lines and mountains became submerged. Weather patterns altered and it seemed the whole world was in chaos and our planet looked doomed.
By the time it was over there was no immediate receding of the oceans. The whole globe was covered completely in one endless sea, an Ocean of Despair they called it. For planes had crashed unable to find a landing strip or to refuel. Animals had drowned because nobody thought to save the different species. They didn't think they may need them in the future, and they completely forgot about the insects. Without them, even if the world did resume to reset mode, how could things ever get back to a healthy balance? And in those days where the weather returned to normal, people who lived lamented the losses. They grieved for a world they helped to destroy. Some felt shame for the destruction and the huge loss of life, others felt relief for being one of the saved, and yet others were planning the next steps.
It was a sad stain on humanity that those left were spread about on various seagoing vessels. Rather than aid each other when distress messages about shortages of food started going out, they instead talked about boundaries and territories. They spoke in terms of international waters or those of previously designated areas. They were willing to defend their stance and thus further annihilate what was left of their species. It was a global concern, that if the waters didn't recede how could they gather enough from the seas to feed their expectations and needs? People grew scared and anxiety levels and tempers surged. There was a heightened level of danger sensed by all, but they still remained fragmented. Though they were now all in the same boat as it were, on the Ocean of Despair, they clung to their old ways and their stupid Laws and Rules. They would need to salvage what they could and try to prepare for what was to come.
Meanwhile, there was one feathered onlooker who watched with something akin to awe. He was a wandering albatross and he'd spent the first six of his years on the wing. He'd flown the mighty storms and unlike many of the birds had the strength to survive the ordeal. He had witnessed Man's destruction with curiosity, for he had never before seen them so easily destroyed. The Great Rains had come and the water levels had risen, but Man who'd made it to the peaks and summits of the highest points still perished. The albatross saw this as a great pity, because he himself could not help. Though he had a wingspan of eleven feet, the biggest of any bird, he could not even rescue one child. Even his mighty strength couldn't also bear the weight of another and if he took a baby then where could he land it? He could not fly forever with the child and this had broken his heart, so he had flown higher and further away so he could not see the destruction. But that sense of helplessness remained with him.
After the rains stopped the albatross found sanctuary on one of the many floating redwood trees that littered the endless ocean. It was enough that he could sleep and get his rest and regain his strength. After fishing and eating his fill he set off again to explore the surface of the water. He caught sight of many boats, ships and now smaller vessels emerging from the larger ones. All seemed to be haphazardly searching for things but he did not know what. He found the ways of Man perplexing to say the least. He assumed it was land they looked for. So he decided he would help them, much like his distant ancestor had done on the Ark for Noah. Perhaps he too could restore their hope. Of course then it had only been forty days and nights it had rained. This time he'd venture to say it had been in the hundreds, but he was committed nonetheless to doing this good deed for them.
It was a mammoth task and a long one. For though he could glide for hours without rest or a flap of his wings, he was lonely. He hoped on his journey to find another of his kind and settle down and start a family perhaps. For them the world wasn't as harsh a place as it had become for Man. This made him sad for them, and his compassion drove him onwards searching for dry land. From his high arial viewpoint he could see many things. Great pods of whales and dolphins enjoying the freedom of the vast waters. Massive schools of fish safe and joyous flying through the surf. Even the sharks seemed happy salvaging food from a now bountiful expanse of hunting grounds below sea level. But what he didn't see was land, and he flew and flew until he had almost lost hope.
When he did find land, far out over to the East, he knew his prayers had been answered. If there was land for Man there would surely be a love alive for him. After he had told them of his discovery he would then leave it to man to sort himself out and co-operate with his neighbours. Meanwhile he would go on hunting and find his mate. Now he had somewhere they could build a nest and start re-populating their numbers. So he searched for the nearest vessel many hundreds of miles away, ready to guide it back to dry land. Of course he had deliberated whilst on the wing as to how he could explain his intentions. That he was to be their guide and ultimately their salvation. His kinsman back in the old story had carried a twig of the olive to symbolises his find. So the albatross, being bigger, found a small branch with figs on it, and set off back towards mankind's vessels.
A submarine had surfaced recently and was the first thing the albatross spotted not more than two hundred miles away from the land mass he'd discovered. He landed on the hideous metal hide of the beast. His feet made a noise as he walked along the surface and he tap tapped on the skin of the submarine to attract it's attention. A hatch opened and the albatross saw Man emerge from the beast's blowhole. He walked up to the men to proffer his branch and tell them of his marvellous find. But instead of a joyous rapture he was met with hostility. A net like they used on their fishing boats was thrown over him so he couldn't fly away. "Good shot," said the sailor, "now we have dinner and it looks like it brought us some dessert." And without thinking they wrang the albatross' neck and went below with their prize. When the Captain asked them what direction the bird had come from and where it had obtained the branch from? the sailors looked a bit embarrassed. They hadn't seen, nor had they watched, they'd just acted impulsively. "Oh never mind, " replied the Captain at last. That was the least of his worries and at least he would eat well at his table tonight. It would make a pleasant change from fish and ship's dry biscuits. And he promptly gave orders to go straight ahead after submerging, guessing that was the direction the albatross had come from. Sadly he was wrong. And hours later a beautiful female albatross spotted the wake in the water that the shallowly submerged submarine was causing as it re-emerged to raise periscopes. She wasn't impressed, they were now several hundreds of miles away from anything.
So my friends we come to the end of our story. When looking at the answer to your dilemma, or searching for a miracle, we don't always listen - sadly we act rashly. It's a human failing that we don't see in others the compassion and meaning in what they are trying to tell us. Next time when someone stops to share something with you, take a moment before responding. Maybe what they can teach you, or wish to show you, is worth the time to listen and think about. Don't be too hasty to dismiss the answer when it's staring you in the face. Some brave and courageous souls do their utmost to teach us the error of our ways, give them the respect to hear them out. What you do after that is up to you, but save yourself the embarrassment of remaining ignorant - make an informed decision.
Red Cloud
In the beginning before the red cloud came in 1822 near the forks of the River Platte, Nebraska it was a peaceful place. It was forged by two local atmospheric conditions coming together to create it. The soil was composed of loess, which is finer than sand but coarser than dust or clay. It was the land of his birth, where the Ogala Lakota nation stood proud. Loess is prone to serious erosion by wind and water, and it was the strong wind from Brule Lakota territory that sped along to stir it up. Together the two elements mixed one hot Summer's day. A fusion of the right conditions, the soil, the wind and the water of the river blending in harmony. Red Cloud ascended above the Earth of his ancestors, born from the blood in the soil and the bravery in the bones buried there. Stirred by the whispers of voices on the wind telling of the White Man appearing where there had previously been none. And infused with the spirit of the water running wild and free, flowing where it wished beholden to no-one. Three strong elements that were there at the birth, the first time Red Cloud rose to the sky but a mere small drifting wisp of a storm cloud.
Red Cloud was embraced as he rose up high by old Chief Smoke who was already in the heavens. The two bonded instantly and drifted in harmony for many carly years. There was peace mostly below them and tranquility for the most part. This was the way of their world and of the many Nations below them. At times small messages would drift up to greet them from signal fires they lit. Like tiny prayers of encouragement Red Cloud listened well. He took to hovering low over the bonfires lit around the many camps of the people below. Took delight in the dancing and laughter and the tales they would tell each other around the crackling logs. All the time the smoke rose upwards making him stronger, larger and filling him with more energy. Old Chief Smoke guided Red Cloud in their ways, and taught him how to rise and drift. He was a wanderer and had a colour the hue of a human heart, deep and giving. As a cloud he was buoyed by the heat of the day and rising dust off the Great Plains. He would drift as far as the Wyoming and Montana territories. Always listening and growing in stature from the Earth and Sky which were so dear to him.
It was a cold foreign wind that brought a challenge to him. Dark grey clouds in many ranks drifted to meet him unwelcoming in their intentions. They were hasty and mischievous, with no love for the warm conditions of his birth. They were two different forms of the same thing, and while Red Cloud would quite happily blend with them peacefully, as was his way, the grey clouds wanted no part of it. They were the dominant they declared, they had rights and reasons to sweep him away and have done with Red Cloud, but old Chief Smoke
had taught him wisdom and patience. And the fires that spoke to him as they joined his own smoke told him he was not alone or wrong in how he felt. He was there long before they came, these wisps of nothing but greed and curiosity. So small tendrils of smoke lured the grey cloud ranks towards their imminent defeat. For as they thought to overtake and consume a fast cloud in the shape of a Crazy Horse, they were devoured themselves in ambush.
Red Cloud was waiting and angry at the audacity of the grey clouds. He came upon them from his place in hiding, a mighty wave of red. He was incensed and furious at the obvious intention of wiping him from the sky. He would not be cowed into submission, he would fight and meet them with the element of surprise. There was thunder and lightning as the two met, warm red and cold grey. The storm raged in the evening sky fuelled by the arid conditions. None of devoured with little hurt to Red Cloud. It "I will not be cowed or beat down, this is my land, below is my nation, and here is the grey clouds survived, they were was a great victory and Red Cloud spoke into the Eastern wind that brought them from Washington DC. where my heart roams free to enjoy the wonders we share." Then came news from the East that a great treaty would be brokered to stop future attacks. Many smaller clouds may come in their thousands he was warned, it was their way, the need to spread out and claim for themselves a small part of the whole. There was lots to be had, Red Cloud could avoid them, leave them, let them be. And Red Cloud decided he would then travel the winds whilst still strong and full of fire. He would traverse the great distance and see for himself. what evil intent these grey clouds were fuelled by. He had to know what damage he should prepare for if any. He was a peace loving shade ordinarily, but he senses their lies and deceit, he'd go see for himself.
As he drifted over the Black Hills and the Big Horn, Red Cloud could see the tiny glimmer of gold in the burning sunlight. This is what attracted the many darker grey clouds as if called to it by greed and single minded obsessiveness. Usually the breezes and local conditions would scatter them or scare them off, but he noticed they were getting less reticent. They were growing in number despite the treaty. As he met with the imposing might of the East, a huge thunderstorm of a cloud thousands of times bigger than he, Red Cloud was feeling daunted. This immense grey cloud was like a hive of angry bees, kick it and they would scatter angrily to attack all in sight. He was wary and he was patient, assessing the size and might, and the intentions behind their passive or accommodating words.
"You promised to leave us alone," said Red Cloud," you were to be true to your word like we were to ours." But the great grey cloud rumbled, and Red Cloud could not tell if it was in amusement or anger, but it did not sound hopeful at all. He represented not only himself, but that of other white clouds he'd encountered and that travelled with him, bothered by the grey interlopers. "We will give you other lands to wander and travel the skies peacefully in. Go there, leave that area to us we want it as that is where the gold is." Red Cloud was thoughtful and pensive. He was so small next to them, and he knew his anger alone would barely scratch the surface of their multitude. They were many and strong, he and his fellow clouds were weak, and it was clearly evident honesty and honour were not part of the ways of the grey clouds. He kept his own counsel for a while whilst he considered. Then a voice came from behind him, "When I was here before you told me I could keep my country, and I put my stake down in a good place, and there I want to stay. You speak of another country, but it is not my country; it does not concern me, and I want nothing to do with it. I was not born there. If it is such a good country, you ought to send the grey clouds now in our country there and let us alone." Red Cloud sighed at the impetuous response, but he knew in his heavy heart it was spoken with just honesty. The grey clouds in authority had made a promise to them all and continued to break it. He saw there was to be no mending of the situation, and his spirit grew heavier. This had no good resolution for them, they were too small to win this skirmish like last time. They won one battle and it had emboldened them, but they could not win this war.
And so it was the Red Cloud travelled the winds back again and his fellow clouds dispersed. Together they spoke with a stronger voice, but individual they were lesser clouds. They knew the lands they were formed in, and they were scattered over great swathes of land and sky. They wished to remain but Red Cloud knew as strong as he was he could never beat the storm that was to ensue. He tried to negotiate and lead them all to a compromise with these interlopers who cared nothing for them. What means sparkling dust on the ground when you have a whole vast ocean of sky above to travel? How can one cloud be so confined by ever shrinking boundaries? And as they came, a great tidal wave of grey smoke and thunderous energy all who stood in their way were dispelled or dispersed. They smashed their way in and swatted the paler clouds like flies. And the confines they were relegated to became smaller and smaller. The air got thin, the water sparse, the soil worse. All the conditions that gradually caused the clouds to fall away to nothing, and it was hopeless to outrun the vast might of the grey.
Red Cloud held on. He fought so hard and with such dignity many drew courage from his words and actions. But like others he was forced to surrender, even with his dignity his conditions worsened. He was tricked and disrespected and his colours faded gradually. Red Cloud was the last to disappear 87 years after he was formed. His spirit defiant to the last hovered over Pine Ridge and glowed in the evening light before finally dissolving to nothing. A wind blew on the horizon, soft and gentle like his way was. And if you listen there on the spot where he met his demise you can still here his last words echoed on the wind. "They made us many promises, more than I can remember. But they kept but one - They promised to take our land, and they took it."
We are all but temporary clouds, spirits born from the elements and sharing the same Earth. We emerge, we learn and we grow, making the best of all that we have or acquire. No one nation should rule it all, and no one voice should tell you how to live and what you must do with your life. But when faced with overwhelming odds, would you truly fight and die or try to live the best you can within the confines they dictate? Some of us may face that dilemma at some point in our lives, both in large or small ways. But like Red Cloud, how we handle ourselves during the adversity is a mark of who we are and how far our spirits have come. I hope you will glow with the red fire of your heart and not the darkness of the oppressive grey. Rise above and float on the endless sky, spreading love and remembering, not all promises in life will be kept.
5 DIY Motorcycle Maintenance Tips
If you're planning to buy your first motorcycle or have been riding for a while, it's always a good idea to brush up on your maintenance skills. Not only will this improve your overall safety when riding a motorcycle, but it will also save you money.
We understand that knowing exactly what to include in your maintenance list might be a difficult process, but with Rhino USA, you can make it easier. So here are some motorbike maintenance that you may do yourself at home.
**Change The Oil**
To keep your engine operating smoothly, you'll need to change the oil every few thousand miles—consult your owner's handbook for more information. To begin, ride the bike for about five minutes just to get it warmed up. Then, remove the drain and oil fill plugs with the engine off and the bike standing upright, allowing the oil to flow into a drain pan.
Remove the oil filter as well. Install a new oil filter, replace any parts you removed, and refill with the right amount and kind of motorcycle oil, as specified in the owner's manual, using a funnel and the proper amount and type of motorcycle oil. Remove the oil fill cover and replace it. Use a bike shop or a local facility to recycle the spent oil.
**Check Battery**
Because most batteries are hidden beneath a bike's seat or fuel tank, it's no surprise that they're sometimes disregarded when it comes to routine maintenance. When a battery becomes severely depleted where it is normally nearing the end of its life, it should be checked on a regular basis.
Before doing any maintenance, it's best to remove the battery from its holder. Batteries contain powerful acid, which can be hazardous to your skin if it comes into touch with it.
Place your battery on a level surface to check the acid level. If the battery's level is low, top it up with de-ionized water before charging it with a car or motorbike charger. If you overfill, the acid will run out of the overflow pipe while you're moving. You won't be able to top up many modern batteries because they are sealed.
It's a good idea to grease your battery terminals before putting them back on the bike to prevent corrosion. Just keep in mind that you should never touch both terminals at the same time.
**Maintain Your Tires**
Unlike a car, you don't have three spare tires to fall back on if one goes flat. If one or both of your tires do not have the required pressure or the tread level indicates that it needs to be changed, riding your motorcycle can be quite dangerous.
To check your pressure, start by looking for the valve stem inside the wheel. To determine the current psi of your tire, you'll need a tire pressure gauge which you can get at Rhinousainc.com. The number on your tire pressure gauge should match the number written on the sidewall of your tire.
When it comes to treading, you can simply determine the state of your tires by looking for the rubber knob, which is normally located within the grooves of your tires. It's time for a tire change if the rubber knob is at the same level as the ground.
**Check The Chain**
A twisted chain might cause the back wheel to lockout if it slips off the sprockets. A highly tight chain is less risky in the short term, but it might wear out and destroy parts over time. Instead, place two fingers under the chain's lowest point and try to lift it.
In most cases, 1.5 inches of play is sufficient but see your manual. Heavy loads, riders, and pillions will increase tension, so double-check if these conditions persist. The rear wheel nuts and adjustment screws can be used to make adjustments.
A rusted or dry chain poses a hazard to safe handling. Instead, raise the rear wheel of your bike on the main stand while slowly rotating it. Next, apply a generous coat of chain lubricating oil that is appropriate for your bike. After your ride or in the evening, letting the oil soak into the chain overnight is an excellent time.
**Inspect The Spark Plugs**
Spark plugs survive so long these days that they can be completely forgotten about since their degradation occurs gradually to the point where we don't notice a significant difference. Finally, however, they must be replaced.
We agree that changing the spark plugs for a newbie can be a profanity-filled ordeal, but there's a lot to learn when you reach into the engine compartment's dark recesses. On your way to the spark plug cavities in the valve cover, you'll pass by the airbox, recirculation valve, throttle bodies, ignition coils, and so on.
**Conclusion**
Don't get careless or develop untidiness. To avoid contaminating the ground with oil, use small containers and use a mat to keep tools, screws, and bolts from being kicked over. A tidy workspace reflects a tidy attitude, and when everything is in order, you will be less frustrated.
It's fulfilling and enjoyable to do some physical labor on your motorcycle. After putting your equipment away, washing up, and riding away on your well-maintained machine, you'll have a fantastic sense of accomplishment.

5 Ways to Expand Your Consciousness
F**ive ways you can expand your consciousness and overcome that sense of longing for something beyond your day-to-day life.**
All of us have experienced moments of clarity, where we were able to easily see through situations and people around us and to make sound judgment calls that directly affected the circumstances.
This ranges from being able to help someone, understand toxicity in a situation, having a deep conversation with others, or give insightful advice on matters that others might have missed.
During those instances, we find ourselves highly aware of the situation and easily capable of filling in the shoes of those around us.
Such moments of transcendence point to our ability to rise above ourselves through expanded consciousness. It is a critical aspect and a highly debated one in the circles of spirituality.
However, there are no sure and simple ways of unlocking the paths to higher consciousness.
Each one of us has a unique past, a different level of reincarnated self, and unique present circumstances that both prevent and aid us in unveiling doors to higher dimensions.
However, there are certain ways that people in search of expanding their conscious can take for the breaking of the dimensions and unveiling paths towards new and higher dimensions.
#1 Increase Your Reading/Traveling
Lack of diverse experiences and knowledge often blocks the expansion of consciousness.
Consciousness is universal, and transcends time. Before the advent of modernity, humans have often been limited in their pursuit of expanded consciousness because of their geographic constraints. They were able to expand their consciousness within the limits of the Knowledge present within their civilization.
But those who sought the enlightenment, either traveled or sought literature from other civilizations, both past and contemporary, in an attempt to expand their knowledge about life, human nature, beauty and other social constructs.
In a globalized world, even if we cannot afford to travel extensively, we can easily read literature from other countries and even extinct cultures, and hence question our current perceptions about life.
#2 Be Open to Feelings
Feelings are an integral part of any experience. They offer deep insights into various circumstances and explains why people are reacting the way they are.
By removing feelings from the experience and rationalizing it, we remove crucial information that can allow us to be more empathic and aware in a given situation.
Avoid reaching every aspect of your life objectively. We often do that and, in the process, we deny feelings and emotions that could otherwise enrich our experience.
If you want to expand your consciousness, you must inculcate the ability to experience feelings.
Appreciate feelings and increase your ability to experience, appreciate, and understand the experience.
#3 Trust Your Inner Voice
All of us are guilty of neglecting our inner child: the curious, generous, and carefree spirit that dwells within all of us, and which is always trying to guide us to different paths.
We often hear it as a background voice, an intuition, a nudge in our consciousness telling us that we must do something differently. But the voice is often too vague for us to notice. Hence, we often neglect it.
The only way to cultivate it is by following its guidance more often.
#4 Be True to Yourself
Cultivate intentions of generating positivity more often and further inculcate and nurture compassion within yourself. Intentions play a powerful role in defining the energies that our actions generate.
Doing something good with the intention of being recognized for it may nurture a generous spirit, but will not allow one to transcend the locality of one’s self and tap into the limitless abundance of the universe.
In a phrase, always have generous intentions. This ensures that you strengthen your truth and become open to the universal consciousness.
#5 Be Humble
We often avoid facing our finitude and the fragility of being human. We often try to find contentment in ambition, success, and shallow achievements, whilst looking up to those who embody these traits and have been recognized by history.
But, at the end of the day, the saints and mystics of various civilization easily hold us in awe for their wisdom in living a content and fulfilling life.
And their teachings have always been straight forward: be humble and accept your weaknesses, your fragility, and your errors.
Be humble, open, and honest with others and it will become easier to find the common humanity that pervades us, and hence the love we can have for one another.
A Ticking Time Bomb, Without A Fuse
Walking down this dark era of my life.
Secrets that should of been kept lock shut, sorrowfully was my strife.
Nobody denied what they had said.
I still have all of you inside my head.
One day when I unleash everything inside my mind.
There will be punishments for all to find.
The day is approaching when I am on my own.
I have all your numbers sitting inside my cellphone.
They say I am a danger to all who is closest to me.
I know I carry anger, but I am learning to set it free.
If you could only walk in my shoes,
A ticking time bomb, without a fuse.
Now walk a straight line,
To show that the past was your crime.
Juggle down all those tears,
Face on, those empty fears.
Crawl back under the ground,
Leave nothing but pity, in this town.
Unstable as you are,
Face nothing more then your feet in this tar.
Crazed and upset,
Copy cats, as your pets.
Leave no trace of where you have been.
Drunken manners with this bottle of gin.
Keep on running, and never, ever stop to breathe.
That's when your caught, sinking underneath.
The soil is hot and your bones grew cold.
Your lips stuck together like a piece of mold.
Never give out what is in your head.
That's how you will end up dead.
Take this lesson and learn it from me.
I was stubborn endlessly.
The holy water will never save you.
This spirit is much to strong, some how I think you knew.
This fearful day is your reckon, to be reckoned, with the truth.
If you give up, you lose.
A ticking time bomb, without a fuse.
Now grab your things and run like hell.
Into pieces, you will shatter, there goes the glory bell.
Your name is on your death wish, better move on fast.
Their mind is made up, pitiness will never last.
If you shake, there goes your life.
Remember inside your pocket, I put a knife.
if you give up, you will lose.
A ticking time bomb, without a fuse.
Everything is in your hands,
One mistake, your life is over, do you understand?
All it takes is just one look of evil, and your gone.
Please don't do anything wrong.
I am praying for your life, because I don't want to lose you.
Just hit the judgements with the truth.
They won't take you, if they can't use you.
Just hit the judgements with the truth.
Now look me in the face and tell me that you are not a part of this facade anymore.
I wish I could believe you, like many times before.
There is something different about you, like you lead the pack of troops to doom.
I know I will see you again, someday soon.
As you walk away, I heard you laughing, and I knew at that moment you were guilty once again.
I pull the trigger, with confidence, your life I did end.
If you give up, you will lose.
A ticking time bomb, without a fuse.
Why You Will Need A Lawyer For Compensation Suits
You have a cause to be concerned about the on-the-job accident that has left you in pain and out of work. Creditors are calling at all hours of the day and night. Because of your injuries, you will never be able to return to your previous career. And if you do, how can you cover any of your bills? Unfortunately, many people would find themselves in this situation. But this does not have to be the case. There is a way out. There is a way to get the funds you need to cover your bills, get proper medical care, and move on with your workplace accident.
When your company hires someone injured on the job, you might be wondering if you should hire a lawyer to help you with any workers' compensation issues. Work-related accidents will jeopardize the company's finances, and a single lawsuit involves various people, including health companies, hospital professionals, your employee, and the state's workers' compensation commission.
The great thing is that small business owners rarely need to employ attorneys on workers' compensation cases. Typically, the disabled victim is merely asserting his or her right to pay. The employer's workers' compensation insurance company may determine whether or not the worker is liable for coverage. However, small companies might consider hiring a workers' compensation attorney on occasion.
**A workers' compensation attorney is relatively inexpensive.**
People sometimes believe that hiring a lawyer is prohibitively expensive. Not in the event of a workers' compensation lawsuit, at least. Workers' compensation attorneys provide their advice on a contingency fee basis. It ensures employers do not have to pay a dime if they do not file a lawsuit for benefits. They usually bill about 20% if they win the injury settlement lawsuit.
**A workers' compensation attorney maximizes workers' compensation benefits.**
Lawyers determine the cost of workers' compensation for injuries by the workers' gross weekly wage. However, the insurer also attempts to reduce the premium as much as possible. Without an advocate, the insurer will take advantage of the employees' lack of knowledge to pay them less than they deserve.
A competent solicitor understands how insurers operate. He or she is conscious of the right decisions to make to reap the most rewards.
**A workers' compensation attorney assists in estimating the actual settlement.**
The most often raised concern about workers' compensation is, "How much do I get?" There are some misconceptions about workers' compensation insurance. People also attempt to obtain this information from other workers' compensation lawsuits.
But it would be incorrect since each case is distinct. It is difficult to determine the final payout total without knowledge of compensation legislation and the lawsuit's essence.
Workers' compensation lawyers will help disabled workers get the highest possible settlement. It also assists staff in determining the merits of the situation and whether it is worthwhile to try.
**A workers' compensation attorney may testify in court on behalf of a worker.**
The injured employees could find it difficult to appear in court. They need enough rest to recover from their injury. In this situation, the prosecutor will represent the staff in arbitration. It's also a significant relief for the staff. They are not required to go through the courtroom experience. Jobs will benefit from the lawyers' experience.
**A workers' compensation attorney protects your worker's civil rights.**
The Workers' Compensation Act does not come in simple terms. There are far too many complex words and jargon for the average person to comprehend.
Employees can be duped or misled by the insurer because they are unaware of the benefits act. Workers' compensation attorneys shield their customers from the insurer's deception. They assist disabled workers with exercising their legal rights.
**A workers' compensation attorney covers the workers' potential needs.**
Workers' compensation lawyers not only assist workers with winning their cases, but they also keep an eye on their potential needs. Compensation lawyers can intervene with the insurance provider in medicare, medical coverage, and social security disabilities. A competent compensation lawyer ensures that their clients have these programs.
**A workers' compensation attorney assists you with developing a third-party exposure lawsuit.**
Coworkers may have experienced an occupational accident in some circumstances, and other employees might cause physical harm to workers. The victim worker will then face two cases: the standard workers' compensation lawsuit and third-party action. The third kind of damages suit is a federal case filed against the coworker who caused the victim's injuries.
If the worker has an excellent third-party exposure argument, the workers' compensation counsel would know.
Lawyers may also offer employers advice after the company's health provider has decided whether to provide coverage. If the insurer rejects the claim or proposes an inadequate payment, the employee's counsel will advise him or her to file an appeal. As previously said, this is a case in which a small business can consider hiring its own workers' compensation counsel to discuss the decision.
Secret Teachings Reborn: The Mysterious Life of Manly P. Hall
The late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries saw an explosion of spiritual teachers and impresarios dealing in “secret wisdom.” Their ranks included hacks and frauds – as well as more than a few genuine scholars of esoteric traditions. Most have vanished from memory, their writings a historical footnote.
There exists one distinct figure, though, whose movement and teachings not only survived his passing but are even experiencing a revival in our day. His name is Manly P. Hall. While few academicians will ever know of him, Hall was among the twentieth century’s – and perhaps any century’s – most commanding and unusual scholars of esoteric and mythological lore. Yet the source of his knowledge and the extent of his virtuosity can justly be called a mystery.
While working as a clerk at a Wall Street banking firm – the “outstanding event” of which involved “witnessing a man depressed over investment losses take his life” – the 28-year-old Hall self-published one of the most complex and thoroughgoing works ever to catalogue the esoteric wisdom of antiquity, *The Secret Teachings of All Ages*. Hall’s *Secret Teachings* is almost impossible to classify. Written and compiled on an Alexandrian scale, its hundreds of entries shine a rare light on some of the most fascinating and little-understood aspects of myth, religion, and philosophy.
Today, more than seventy-five years after its initial publication, the book’s range of material astonishes: Pythagorean mathematics; alchemical formulae; Hermetic doctrine; the workings of Kabala; the geometry of Ancient Egypt; the Native American myths; the uses of cryptograms; an analysis of the Tarot; the symbols of Rosicrucianism; the esotericism of the Shakespearean dramas – these are just a few of Hall’s topics. Yet his background betrays little clue to his virtuosity.
**A Man Unknown**
Hall was born in Peterborough, Ontario, in 1901 to parents who would shortly divorce, leaving the young Manly in the care of a grandmother who raised him in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He had little formal schooling. But there was a spark of some indefinable brilliance in the young man, which his grandmother tried to nurture in trips to museums in Chicago and New York.
Tragedy struck early, when his grandmother died when he was 16. Afterward, a self-styled Rosicrucian community in California took him in. At age 19, suspicious of the community’s claims to ancient wisdom, Manly moved on his own to Los Angeles where he began a precocious career in public speaking – first giving an address on reincarnation in a small room above a bank in Santa Monica, and soon rising to the rank of minister at a liberal evangelical congregation called The Church of the People.
Word spread of the boy wonder’s mastery of arcane and metaphysical subject matter. He attracted benefactors and eventually began travelling the world in search of hidden wisdom. Yet Hall’s early letters from Japan, Egypt, China, and India are, in many respects, fairly ordinary: They contain little of the eye-opening detail or wonder of discovery that one finds in the writings of other early twentieth-century seekers encountering the East for the first time. More often they read like prosaic, if somewhat sensitive, linear travelogues of their day.
Like a bolt from the blue, however, one is astounded to discover a short work of immense power from the young Hall – a book that seems to prefigure that which would come. In 1922, at the age of 21, Hall wrote a luminescent gem on the mystery schools of antiquity, *Initiates of the Flame*. Though brief, one sees in it the outline of what would become *The Secret Teachings of All Ages*. On its frontispiece,*Initiates of the Flame* boldly announces: “He who lives the Life shall know the Doctrine.”
The short book goes on to expound passionately and in detail on Egyptian rites, Arthurian myths, and the secrets of alchemy, among other subjects. Feeling the power and ease in its pages, the reader can almost sense the seeds of greatness that were beginning to take hold in Hall’s grasp of esoteric subjects.
**The Secret Teachings Born**
Hall soon returned to America, where he tried his hand at banking – though he found his true path in the beaux arts Reading Room of the New York Public Library. Entering this cavernous space today, it is not difficult to picture the large-framed, young Manly P. Hall surrounded by books of myth and symbol at one of the room’s huge oaken tables. Like a monk of the Middle Ages, Hall copiously, almost superhumanly, pored over hundreds of the great works of antiquity, distilling their esoteric lore into his volume.
By the age of 28, having pre-sold subscriptions for nearly 1,000 copies (and printing 1,200 more), Hall published what would become known as “The Great Book” – and it has never gone out of print since.
Indeed, Hall is an exception to most of his contemporaries as someone whose work is actually building in influence today. In its day, the *Secret Teachings* was expensive, hefty, and cumbersome. As a result, the book spent much of its existence as an underground classic. In late 2003, however, the *Secret Teachings* found new life in a reset and redesigned “reader’s edition,” which has sold a remarkable 40,000 copies in less than three years.(For further details, see “Bringing the Secret Teachings Into the 21st Century” by Mitch Horowitz at www.lapismagazine.org). A little-known 1929 companion volume by Hall, called *Lectures on Ancient Philosophy*, has also been recently reissued.
After publishing his magnum opus, Hall opened a campus in 1934 in the Griffith Park neighbourhood of Los Angeles called The Philosophical Research Society (PRS), where he spent the rest of his life teaching, writing, and amassing a remarkable library of esoterica. A self-contained property designed in a pastiche of Mayan, Egyptian, and art deco styles, PRS remains a popular destination for LA’s spiritually curious.
Following Hall’s death in 1990, PRS barely survived simultaneous legal battles – one with Hall’s widow, who claimed the group owed her money, and another with a bizarre father-son team of con artists who, in the estimation of a civil court judge, had befriended an ailing, octogenarian Hall to pilfer his assets. The Los Angeles Police Department considered Hall’s death sufficiently suspicious to keep it under investigation for several years.
**Secret Wisdom, Practical Wisdom**
For all his literary output, Hall revealed little about his private life. His most lasting record is a frequently trite, unrevealing childhood memoir called *Growing Up with Grandmother* (in which he refers to his guardian as “Mrs. Arthur Whitney Palmer”). As an adult, Hall’s close relations were few. He did not marry until well into middle age, in a union some surmise was never consummated.
Hence, when Hall disclosed something about his background, it was purposeful. He wrote this in a PRS newsletter in 1959: “As a result of a confused and insecure childhood, it was necessary for me to formulate a personal philosophy with which to handle immediate situations.”
Here was someone with a tremendous interest in the arcane philosophies of the world, in the occult and metaphysical philosophies, but he wasn’t fixated on immortality, or a will to power, or on discovering keys that unlock the universe. Rather, he was focused on harnessing inner truths in a very practical way. How, he wondered, could such ideas lend clarity to daily life?
We’ll take a byroad that steers us in another direction before returning to this point. Our byroad involves one of the most famous novels in history, Mary Shelley’s *Frankenstein.* The work has many facets, among them a portrait – not sympathetic, but not as unsympathetic as one might suppose – of the European occult in the Enlightenment era. The portrait comes in the character of a young Victor von Frankenstein, a budding scientist torn between the occult teachings that drew him to science as a child and the prevailing rationalism of his teachers. Victor confides his interest in the great alchemists and occult philosophers, such as the Renaissance-era magus Cornelius Agrippa, but his professors dismiss him with complete condescension.
One day in his room, Victor ponders the unbridgeable gap between his magical visions and the scholasticism of his peers:
I had a contempt for the uses of modern natural philosophy. It was very different when the masters of science sought immortality and power; such views, although futile, were grand; but now the scene was changed. The ambition of the inquirer seemed to limit itself to the annihilation of those visions on which my interest in science was chiefly founded. I was required to exchange chimeras of boundless grandeur for realities of little worth.
In a sense, Victor spoke for generations of occultists when describing his ideal of boundless grandeur, immortality, power, and visions. (And who wouldn’t sympathise with the rebellious young Victor – whose dreams and ambitions, while hopeless, exist on a grand scale – versus the certainties of his crusty professors?)
An occult scholar born at the cusp of the twentieth century, Manly P. Hall signalled a different kind of ideal. Hall told of “a personal philosophy with which to handle immediate situations.” After Hall’s death, a reporter in the *Los Angeles Times*noted, “Followers say he believed in reincarnation and in a mixture of the Golden Rule and living in moderation.”
For Hall, the very act of writing *The Secret Teachings of All Ages* was an attempt at formulating an ethical response to the age he lived in. While the book is at times speculative and some of its sources are limited by the constraints of their era, it is the only codex to esoteric ideas that treats its subject with total seriousness. Contemporaneous works, such as *The Golden Bough*, regarded indigenous religious traditions as superstition – interesting museum pieces worthy of anthropological study but of no direct relevance to our current lives. Hall, on the other hand, felt himself on a mission to re-establish a connection to the mystery traditions at a time when America, as he saw it, had given itself over to the Jazz-Age materialism he witnessed at his banking job.
“After I thought the matter over,” he wrote a few years before his death, “it seemed necessary to establish some kind of firm ground upon which personal idealism could mingle its hopes and aspirations with the wisdom of the ages.”
In this sense, the prodigious scholar achieved more than a cataloguing of esoteric truths. He turned the study of occult ideas into an ethical cause.
The Space Time Illusion
We perceive space time; however, for significant reasons. This perception provides us a means to think in a certain way, that is to think serially about entities and events. It provides what we call memory of entities and events, which are fabricated thought illusion. It helps us discover that everything is an illusion by showing us that our thoughts drive our perceptions and our perceptions drive the environment we create through our thoughts and actions. We create the entities and events in our mind and create space time through them.
An indication of this illusion is the conjecture/theory that time is another dimension. This means we understand that we see three dimensions and the fourth we experience serially until we understand that we can see it as a dimension too. At that realization point we can navigate time in any direction and the Theory of relativity, the part about the speed of light, is defunct. All thoughts are realized as just another dimension in space. This in part is called the Multi Worlds theory where every thought produces another world view, another timeline.
In order to contextualize the method for realizing the illusion, I’d like to introduce the idea of a thought form that is defined as a template of thought in multidimensional space time. From a thought form comes thoughts. Think of thought forms as building blocks comprised of quantum particle waves. Waiting to be composed into thoughts and behaving more or less as quantum mechanics predicts, these thought forms exist in all parts of our being and all parts of our universe. They’re what makes this universe unique.
Thoughts then build from the thought forms in our multidimensional environment as quantum energy packets in their basic form. From there, using thought forms, we individually and collectively introduce emotional meaning that we attach to these thoughts. Within the time dimension, these thoughts form emotional thought streams.
These emotional thought streams emanate electromagnetic vibrational signatures that attract us at the quantum level of interaction through a group of processes that are similar to chemical reactions and particle wave entanglement. Based on the vibrational signature, we decide if the thought stream is for us or not. If not, we basically ignore it. If we accept the thought stream, we may attach additional emotional packets to it and/or we may strip away some emotional attachments as a sort of personal normalization. At the same time, we create additional emotion attached thoughts that we recognize as having an affinity to these newly introduced thought streams. We accepted this as our personal and collective knowledge.
Once accepted and normalized, the thought stream intermingles with other thoughts contained in our memory, some of which undergo this same process continuously. They also intermingle with thought streams we create about future events and entities. This is the process of assimilation and accommodation. This is also the idea of the past and future create the present since thoughts drive physical reality (the illusions of the mind impose the maya). This is the cycle of cause and effect that is called karma. It exists in space time at the individual as well as collective level. It exists across lifetimes. It is subject to change. It gets ingrained.
Scientific studies have concluded that we only remember thoughts that contain emotional attachments. Emotions and emotional attachments are essential in understanding why we’re here in this self created illusion of space time. Emotions are the valence waves that we control allow to govern our journey through space time (aka: karma).
The individual, in order to reach a level of enlightened awareness, needs to reach a meta level as a detached observer to her or himself (this is also known as the higher self/selves) and observe and interact with the thought streams objectively to re-normalize emotional attachments. At the same time, the higher self analyzes the thoughts’ affinity to one another to detach/attach them on a more objective basis. This yields a more accurate perception and changes the individual’s perspective (leading to enlightened awareness), which then changes the physical reality. Other versions of this phenomenon call it wholeness or holy or finding the original person. It all means the same thing. It is accomplished several different ways and is the meaning of life. It is done by each individual and it resides completely within each person until s/he realizes there is no inside nor outside. The process of enlightenment is the dissolving of the space time illusion. It is the dissolution of duality, especially life death, accomplished by removing desire. Desire is the ego driving energy that attaches emotions to thoughts.
All is quantum energy. An emotional attachment is discrete. Composed directly from quantum particle waves, born out of perceived consequences and driven by collective subconscious meaning. The emotion has no chance of becoming and attachment if it does not reach the specific energy level needed to create a corresponding vibrational signature to the though or thoughts. This is why we have thoughts and emotions that we discard, they did not meet the quantum criteria. All of us manipulate quantum energy. It is really an easy thing for us to do once we realize that a certain emotion has nothing to do with a certain thought and once we realize an emotion has something to do with a certain thought.
The process of becoming the detached observer may happen either as an inspiration and/or it may take several to many trials; as in years, lifetimes, to accomplish. Meditation, which is at the heart of this process, drives it. It is the process of creating multidimensional self contained systems that yield a comprehensive reality thought stream and physical reality. It is the release from suffering (the individual removes unnecessary emotional attachments from all thoughts then creates the correct thought affinity model). In turn, this changes the physical reality of all sentient beings past, present, and future (space time doesn’t exist). The individual begins to easily control the quantum level particle waves S/he combines them into specific vibrational signatures (vortexes) that create physical reality in the right context. This is release from the collective conscious reality model. It is the creation of peace.
Meditation has many forms. The most basic form is breath control/awareness; however, any form works. Additionally, meditation heart based and is outside the realm of desire. It is more a surrender to our higher selves. In space time it means going inward. Because we are a collection of our self created specific vibrational signatures, we attract thought streams of the same signature and hold them. Meditation helps clear the unnecessary thought streams. Since every cell in our body has a vibrational signature, through meditation, we bring each of them to a peaceful vibrational signature. This process is a feedback loop.
Stay in a peaceful loving state and meditation occurs spontaneously. This is the feedback loop enhancing our enlightened state and vice versa. The vibrational signature is evident as a tingling sensation.
Recent experiments with lasers demonstrate the deliberate intelligent interaction of particle waves with the observer (easily found on the internet, see the double slit experiment). In this context, observer is any entity, a being or thing (photographic plate), that cooperates at the quantum level with the laser shot particle waves of the experiment. This indicates the entity may be a co-creator rather than an observer and that somehow all probabilities (as in quantum mechanical probability waves) of outcome are reduced to one before the actual outcome is “observed”. It indicates that there is a point in space time the outcome is “described/decided” before the actual outcome occurs. All of this happens and is measurable in this experiment.
Soon after we realize that we are co-creators, we realize we are everything we perceive. We realize we are much more than the collective consciousness model. We are masters of ourselves and our environment, there is no distinction. We realize the past and future do not exist, there is only the present. We transcend the life/death cycle. We realize that space time is an illusion.
To illustrate the nature of emotion attached thought streams, think about the thought stream that the Earth is flat and what that means. By the way, it was proven to be a sphere about 2,000 years ago by a Greek mathematician but emotional attachments kept the collective from accepting it. Perception is reality. We are still collectively emotionally attached to the idea that the earth is the center of the solar system, even though we call it a solar system. Some of us keep regression and position charts of the planets and extract meaning from these emotion attached thoughts. It’s programmable. It’s AI. It’s reality or is it?
What thoughts are you attached to emotionally? What is the effect of the attachment? What caused the attachment? Will you enhance the attachment or break the attachment? Who are you? What is the meaning of your life? For you, is space time an illusion or a reality or somewhere in between?
Hidden Fact the Series
It has been a month since the day I accepted the offer. That such offer makes me regretful until today. Nothing, we're short of money, and we're just poor, so we have no choice but to hold on to the knife.
I do not want to leave my siblings alone. At first, I thought it was a good blessing. But, when I found out that the help offered is not for free and when I realized what they want me to do, I had no choice but to do it. No, I won't gonna do it just because I had no choice. But because it is still of great help for my brothers and me, I am willing to suffer just for them to have a good life and future.
My two younger brothers and I were just living in the road before. But right from the moment, that thing happened. Everything has changed.
They adopted us and helped us in exchange for something. From that day, my identity was changed - not for a lifetime.
I pretended to be their daughter, who, according to them, is not that good. I mean, they thought that their child could not manage to graduate from college on her own even they have the resources.
Their own daughter also talked to me that if possible, I would pretend to be her to continue the course she took to get a diploma to not embarrass their family.
At first, I don't get it because there are so many possible things to be done aside from this. But when I found out that she needs to graduate as magna cum laude, which she cannot achieve on her own, I at least understand it. Though, something inside me is telling me that I should laugh because of her reason.
Days passed, and I realized why they have to do this and why they want their child to graduate as magna cum laude. I got more of his point.
***She was afraid to fail.***
I don't know why they choose me. Well, I am just a nobody. But, I was lucky, no, not that too fortunate, but a sort of.
All I know is just, I was dubbed as "silent yet genius" in school. Then, the most memorable moment was when I won before in an academic contest sponsored by their company, and fortunately I was hailed as the winner, and I was really put in the hot seat. But after that moment, I was shocked when our parents were gone, just like bubbles. We searched for them until the money they had hidden in the house ran out. Until now, I am still longing for them. Until now, I am hoping that they are still alive. The rest is history.
What makes me think profoundly is that Anne and I seem to look alike. Only the color of my complexion and the hairstyle were different. Other than that, it seems like I was a carbon copy.
That could be the reason why this thing happened. The probable cause why destiny let this thing happened.
***Stay tuned for the next chapter...***
That was the first part of the series. I hope you are entertained by its flow. Allow me to know your thoughts so that this will become better and better as more chapters will be published.

Freshly Coming Back
Hi there, everyone! My account was on hiatus for two long months, but do not worry because I am back now with new sets of articles to write about and publish in the following days.
With the current situation we are in, I can say that individuals turned out to be more engaged in utilizing their devices since the majority of us are merely remaining at home. The thing a large portion of individuals are doing a lot today.
Some have exploited it, actually like us, who utilize the time bringing in even a little measure of cash for our family. Some proceeded with their addictiveness to social media and games, while many are occupied in their online classes.
Different articles to be written and published soon:
***What is the explanation you are generally appreciative of in your life?***
Numerous things cause me to feel appreciative throughout everyday life, except the best explanation is that our family relationship is continually getting more grounded regardless of how any issues that come in our life.
I'm glad to have guardians that are not just caring, they additionally direct us to be better individuals. They don't need us to go off course. For them, regardless of whether they don't eat as long as we eat.
***Is staying away forever something you thought about taking?***
I accept that whatever you acquire, you have to restore it regardless of whether the one whom you received that thing with have effectively failed to remember it. Thus, yes, it tends to be viewed as taking since you know about the obligation yet you actually didn't make a legitimate move towards it.
***Most loved day of the Week?***
Frankly, it isn't Monday. All things considered, every day has its own furious timetable, yet I go on Sunday. The time the majority of us are free. Time to go to the chapel to applaud God and time to recover energy to have the option to turn out to be new again for the coming Week.
***Have You At any point Dropped Food On The Floor And afterward Got It And Eat It?***
At the point when I was a child, I truly do it each time my food fell in the ground, obviously, but to the undeniable messy environmental factors, I mean, those that can be seen by our unaided eye. When I learned in Science that regardless of how little the measure of time it remained on where it falls, the food is now sullied with microbes directly from the underlying contact.
However, there is a confidence in our place telling about the five seconds rule. This standard is telling that, as long as you have gotten it not exactly or equivalent than five seconds, it is still alright.
***Hero or Villain For A Day?***
A particularly basic inquiry, yet I'm actually sorting out my answer. Without lowlifes, a hero film would not be that acceptable. Yet, I'm not saying that I need to be a scalawag, if at any point.
***Do You Lick Your Plate?***
For a few, it is a sickening demonstration. Some may say that the person who did it doesn't have social graces. In any case, let me ask you an inquiry, haven't you do it when you were still a kid?
Thanks for the read, guys! Here is a quote I have searched online, and I hope that you will appreciate its meaning the same way as I appreciate it. Once again, thank you!
*“Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books written in a foreign language. Do not now look for the answers. They cannot now be given to you because you could not live them. It is a question of experiencing everything. At present you need to live the question. Perhaps you will gradually, without even noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answer, some distant day.”*
**― Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet**
From Dancing to Smelling to Idolizing
Answering questions is not that hard when you have something to answer. Just remain calm and do not overthink.
It will be easier to answer random questions if you do it frequently. So, give it a try.
Let's have three questions for this morning, and we will answer them immediately. Try it, too. Just keep on writing for ten minutes, then stop after that.
***Do You Do Dance Crazy When No One Is Looking?***
Honestly, Yes I dance crazy when no one else is looking at me and when no one else is around.
Though, I still dance a little bit crazy sometimes even when there is someone looking at me. But getting caught dancing a very funny dance is really awkward and a little bit shameful especially if it is your crush who have seen you dancing in that way.
But, who cares? You are enjoying right? So, continue dancing to the beat of music.
***What Would Be The Best Thing About Not Having A Sense Of Smell?***
I can't imagine ourselves without having a nose. But, hey there is an advantage that I have in my mind right now.
Well, if we do not have a sense of smell I think that the best thing that would happen is that we will not be able to smell anymore the foul smell found at some public restrooms. That's gross, so let's move on to the next question.
***When Scrolling Through Social Media, Do You Prefer Posts From Celebrities Or From Your Best Friends?***
Choosing between the two is definitely hard but I have made up my mind.
I have many idol celebrities but I prefer seeing the posts of my best friends while scrolling through social media.
The reason is that because I know them more and I find it more special seeing theirs than of the celebrities.
They would reply if you leave a comment and would definitely have time to chit chat about this and that.
That is ten minutes, and we have just answered 3 questions! That's amazing.
Thanks for reading, guys. See you again later.
Genuine
Asking random questions in a conversation does not only create fun, it also let the one answering it to give genuine and honest question.
***Do You Sometimes Talk To Yourself?***
For some, it may sound weird and funny. But for me, it is just okay.
Yes, I sometimes talk to myself especially so when I was just alone. Each time I do it, I ask myself and reflect what I have done from that day. It is a way of expressing myself and bringing out the things I cannot say in person.
*How about you?*

***If You Had The World’s Attention For 30 Seconds, What Would You Say?***
I would gonna say that the world needs a youth like me who is not afraid to bring out the inner voice within me. Youth needs to bring out the best in them so that the world will continuously have a bright future. Do not use the several issues among youth as generalization, instead inculcate to them the right values we need to have to be able to grow up as noble individuals. The future of the world lies on our hand.
***If You Were Home On A Rainy Sunday Afternoon, What Movie Would You Most Want To See On Television?***
If I were home on a rainy Sunday afternoon, I would definitely like to watch either a comedy or horror movie on the television. My reason is that, I really like watching these two genres and I find it interesting and nice watching these movies while its raining. Am I weird? Maybe, a sort of.
***Is There An App That You Hate But Use Anyways?***

***If You Could Lock Up One Person In A Mental Institution, Who Would It Be?***
In life, there are this persons that really get insecure to us. To the point that they get mad at you even you are not doing anything against to them. Probably, they are jealous to what we have or probably they lack of care. Thus, a person like that is what I want be put up in a mental institution.

Well, my favorite part of human face is the lips. Especially, a red kissable lips. Who don't?
***Would You Rather Be Able To Breathe Underwater Or Have The Agility Of A Cat?***
Oh, this is a superhero question. I think, I would choose having the skill to breathe underwater. I have always been dreaming that I could have the ability to do it because I really do not know hoe to swim. If ever I could have this skill, I would definitely be able to swim like a pro.
***What Makes Someone A Hero?***
Well, being a hero does not mean you need to posses supernatural powers. You do not even need expensive weapons nor gadgets just to be called a hero. A mother, a teacher, and many more can be considered heroes even you, just by doing little things that could impact someone's life.
***What’s An Ideal Christmas/Holiday For You?***
This question is very timely. Well, an ideal Christmas for me is just a simple yet joyful and safe celebration of Christmas. In this time of Pandemic, even without the usual things we do together, we can still celebrate Christmas. Even just tittle things that could make us feel the essence of it will be enough already because what matters the most is that we celebrate it together with our family while making sure that we are safe from the threat of the virus. No matter how little or how abundant the food we serve on the day of Christmas, the important thing is we feel the and apply the full-heartedly celebrate the value of it.
That is all for now!
I hope you were entertained by reading my answers to these sort of questions which I adapted from this site. Feel free to write down your thoughts about what you have just read. Thank you!
Passage to Hold On
Life is full of surprises - that was a fact. You may just notice that something happened or sometimes something happened already yet you are not still aware.
Though, whatever problems you have in life, do not give up. Hold on in life and in your dreams. Believe in the process. We will get through those things we are experiencing.
Just like what said Eleanor Roosevelt, If life were predictable, it would cease to be life, and be without flavor.
**LIFE** - one word, four letters yet it is intricate enough that no one will ever decode the right significance. Whether you were born into a rich family or a poor one, your growth will be ample of ups and downs. The aim in life is to lessen the down’s and savor a felicitous and uplifting living.
Through the challenges we are coping up, through the ups and downs, through everything we are struggling with, just stay strong and keep your hopes high, and your faith even stronger.
It molds us to become stronger. Without these trials, we do not know how strong are we in terms of it. So, do not see challenges as mere challenges that only make us feel weak and unfortunate. Instead make it as a stepping stone in order for you to bring out your full potential.
Life will always be a matter of choice, not by chance. So, held you head up high and soar your dreams even in the middle of obstacles. Do not let any problem hinder you in life, Always remember that.
To hold means, you are really fighting for it. You are ready for whatever what comes along the way, and you are not afraid to fail. Know that failures are part of our success so do not give up if you fall down. Instead, ask God's guidance and rise up and continue what you have started for life will be best lived by enjoying while surpassing each challenge.
Tulad ng sinabi ni Eleanor Roosevelt, If life were predictable, it would cease to be life, and be without flavor.

God's Perfect Canvass
I can't help but smile while looking at how the sun sets on the horizon. The sea reflects its color and I can say that it is one of a kind.
Let us have another topic to talk to. A topic which I believe, everyone can relate. If you want reading about sky, it could be the right article for you!
The magnificent view on the horizon is far better than any other else. It is priceless. It is indeed God's perfect canvass.
As the sun bids goodbye, the moon says hi. It becomes brighter together with the stars that starts appearing one by one.
It seems like they were dancing gracefully. Their light were glimmering. But do you know that the stars come in different color?
Yes, you heard it right!
Not because you see white, does not mean they were all white. There are also blue stars, orange stars, red stars and more. Do not just be deceived by what your naked eyes can see.
According to science, blue stars or blue-white stars are the hottest! Yes it is.One good example is Spica and its temperature is as high as approximately 25,000 K! Imagine that?
But anyways, do not overthink. Let's just enjoy looking at them. They were indeed good to eyes and discovering things about them were indeed interesting and amazing.
If you have telescope meant for viewing the stars, that is really cool!
By the way, can you notice the different shapes and other figures they form? That outline or pattern is called constellation!
If you have ever noticed the cross-like pattern of stars? That is Crux, a Latin word for Cross and based on science, *it is the smallest out of all the 88 modern constellations, stretching for around 68 square degrees in the sky.*
If you see a kite-like shape with thread, that is little dipper! *This is a prominent asterism in the northern sky, formed by the brightest stars of Ursa Minor constellation.*
And many more!
I hope you have at least enjoyed reading my article. Truly, the sky, both day and night, possess unique yet beautiful view which we can freely see and enjoy.
*I will end this article with a quote, which I hope may inspire us all:*
*“When it is dark enough, you can see the stars.”*
**Ralph Waldo Emerson**
Feliz Navidad
Christmas is now waving at us! Can you feel the cold breeze of December? That is the sign! But wait, have you prepared your gifts?
*You better watch out*
*You better not cry*
*Better not pout*
*I'm telling you why*
*Santa Claus is coming to town!*
As a way of of sharing this joyful celebration with you amidst the pandemic we are currently experiencing, I will be making header or footer signature banners for you guys!
The theme will be of course about Christmas, and since Christmas is about loving and sharing, may I then ask for your generosity? Any amount will do.
*I wish you a Merry Christmas*
*I wish you a Merry Christmas*
*I wish you a Merry Christmas*
*And a Happy New Year!*
I just used Microsoft PowerPoint in making them. That is why, it is expected that it is not that very great. Anyways, I hope you will like my creativity.
***Here are the sample templates that I made:***
*And many more to come!*

A Morning with You
***Another day has come. Another morning to be grateful.***
The sun rises above with a smile on its face and it gives us new hope to continue going with our head held high.
A simple smile on our face can captivates one's heart and can brighten up one's day, so show your smile to motivate others. Believe in the law of attraction. Anyways, smile is contagious.
***"Life is like a mirror. Smile at it and it smiles back at you."***
**Bryant H. McGill**
Here is a poem I made filled with positivity and sweetness. I hope you will gonna like it the same way as I love it while making it.
*A morning with you*
*Is like a coffee with the best taste*
*A morning without you*
*Is like a coffee that is tasteless.*
*You make me happy*
*Just by smiling at me*
*The pain fades away*
*Just by staying by my side always.*
*A morning with you*
*Is like a bread with the best filling*
*A morning without you*
*Is like a plain bread without any filling.*
*You make me happy*
*Just by letting me feel it*
*The pain instantly fades away*
*When our eyes meet.*
That's it!
I know it is just a simple one but I hope it somehow let you feel motivated. Continue going on fighter! We can do it!

Of Hiding and Seeking
Answering a question a day makes us think better. Sometimes, there are questions directed, which seem simple, but when you attempt to answer it, you have to think deeply before answering.
Just like with this question, I found online: if you were to play, hide and seek, where will you hide?
This will be the thing I want to tackle here not just to share fun but also to give extra tips and knowledge for everyone.
Please note that the things you will going to read in this article are based on my experiences, you can either relate or not. But, I do hope that you will enjoy the rest of what is written here.
Here is the question:
"If you were to play hide and seek in your home, where would you hide and why?"
Such a simplistic question, right? But if you are asked with that sort of query, what will be your answer? Presumably, you are now thinking, and perhaps, the memories of your childhood days came back again to your mind. Am I correct?
By the way, the "hide and seek" game in our place may be different from you. We have this so-called "save" base wherein the "it" or "seeker" needs to protect it while looking for the "hiders." The "hiders" will try to go on the "save" post before getting caught. If there are at least 3 players who will manage to go at the "save" post before getting caught, the "it" needs to start all over again by counting 10 and the other players will then go again at their hiding places.
Okay, let us go back to the topic.
**If I am a playing hide and seek with my friends, say, in a compound, I will hide at the following places.**
**Behind a Tree**
It is such an expected place to hide into, but, I still count it because it is one of my favourite hiding spots when we are playing this game.
I like this spot because it is easier to run and "save" if ever I got to chance to do it.
**Backyard**
Whenever I got the opportunity to play this game, I also hide in our backyard. I liked to hide there for the "seeker" to ought a hard time finding me. I mean, it will be more fun because the "seeker" may prefer to stay near the base or the "save" post or accept the risk of seeing other players like me in the backyard.
I can still identify how my co-players and I make a plan on how we can win over the seeker by finding the right spots. Our method works most of the time and our target, whom we want to be "bagoong", "tungsot" or the one whom we wish to become seeker in the game.
**Inside our house**
Most of the "hiders" would definitely hide in this place, and I am one of them. My reason is that I want the seeker to have a hard time looking for me. I do not know, but, it is so funny to see the seeker's facial expression while looking for me.
But most of the time, I get caught even before I got the chance to go in the "save" post because my mother always gets angry when she sees us going inside the house to hide, with all the dirt on our feet and other body parts.
**If playing inside the house, the following are my favourite hiding spots.**
**Below the bed**
Probably, you tried hiding in that place also. This is on top of my list because it is quite dark. The darker the hiding spot, the harder it takes for the "it" to find the players.
**Inside a Cabinet**
I will definitely hide in this place because I find it pleasant. Also, it is the right spot if you want to surprise the "it."
**Inside the Storage Room**
The "it" may probably skip that spot because most of the storage room is scary most, especially if it is dark inside it. Moreover, some storage rooms are not well ventilated and not cleaned most of the time. It may contain cab webs and dirt. That is why hide in this place if you dare to do so.
Playing this game is really fun, but always make sure that when playing it, just go with the place that cannot cause harm. Moreover, do not let your mother get angry. If you want to hide inside the house, make sure that you are not going to break nor scatter things.
*How about you? Where will you hide?*

Recipe for a Good Day
People are constantly looking for an almost perfect recipe in making the best of each day. Some have mastered it already, while some are still struggling on how they can achieve it.
Here, we will be learning about the fundamental ingredients which could make a day even better.
Now, you would consider important to your happiness and achieving a happy day can be placed in one of the following recipes of a good day.
*"Take two parts of unselfishness and one part of patience and work together. Add plenty of industry. Lighten with good spirits and sweeten with kindness. Put in smiles as thick as raisins in plum pudding and bake by the warmth which streams from a loving heart. If this fails to make a good day, the fault is not with the recipe but with the cook."*
**oldrecipebook**
It has always been beautiful to look for ways to be happy. Being happy is not a thing that should be taken from us. Do not let others take it away from you. Instead, love more yourself to achieve more happiness.
***Two parts of unselfishness***
Just like in the saying by Richard Aldington, *"...a tiny dose of unselfishness could make this goodly earth into an earthly paradise."*
Being grateful to what you have and being unselfish can brighten up one's day The reason is that, the more grateful you are and the more that you are unselfish, you are attracting positive vibes. The more positive vibes you attract, the better the outcome of your day.
*"Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live; it is asking others to live as one wishes to live. And unselfishness is letting other people's lives alone, not interfering with them. Selfishness always aims at uniformity of type. Unselfishness recognizes infinite variety of type as a delightful thing, accepts it, acquiesces in it, enjoys it."*
**Oscar Wilde**
*One part of patience.*
Having patience is indeed a must have quality because it does not only make our day good, it will also make us a better person. Just like in the saying, "patience is a virtue."
This is the ability to wait for something—especially to wait out a difficult period or a time full of trials and tribulations—without getting angry, upset, anxious, or frustrated is something to strive for.
*"A man who is a master of patience is master of everything else."*
**George Savile**
*Plenty of industry.*
Each one of us must have to have a great outlook, and we must take minimal steps to get there. It connotes humbleness, and we have to be humble as we do an activity.
Exert effort and love to what we are doing so that we will be able to enjoy the day while doing the things we are doing.
*Lighten with good spirits.*
Sometimes, we do not have to focus on personal gains just to have the best experiences in a day. It is sometimes attained just by being good with others. Remove hatred and jealousy.
Bring out the goodness in you and do not hesitate to help others who are in need. Because the one who knows what humanity is, is someone who have a good heart and having a good heart could make your day really good.
*“Being a good person does not mean you have to put up with other people’s crap.”* **Anonymous**
*Sweeten with kindness.*
Kindness is priceless. It is the universal language that is comprehended beyond the boundaries. Each and every individual understands and speaks this language. An act of kindness never goes futile. If you are kind to someone it will reflect in your and his behaviour.
But do not let others abuse your kindness. As long as you are enjoying by putting kindness in everything you do, there is nothing to worry about how can you make your day good.
*“Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice. Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Giving is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice you make makes you. Choose wisely.”*
**Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart**
Again, if you have accomplished all the required ingredients, give it a mark
*Two parts of unselfishness.*
*One part of patience.*
*Plenty of industry.*
*Lighten with good spirits.*
*Sweeten with kindness.*
*"Put in smiles as thick as raisins in plum pudding and bake by the warmth which streams from a loving heart. If this fails to make a good day, the fault is not with the recipe but with the cook."*
A happy life begins with self-improvement and ends for the sense of personal fulfilment that you are accomplishing all that you are capable of achieving.
So decide what is right for you before you decide what is possible. Create your ideal life in every detail. Do not be bothered about the process of getting from where you are to where you want to go. For now, just focus on positive thinking and creating a vision of making each day good.

The Practice of Decluttering
When starting something new, we tend to forget what we already have and choose to purchase instead. Want to start journaling? Start by using an existing notebook you have in your storeroom.
If you want to start an eco-friendly lifestyle, start using something you already have instead of buying a new reusable item. Digital clutter is still cluttered.
You need to improve this, take it seriously and make it a habit, clearing your digital clutter. The practice of decluttering digital clutter can give us the extra clarity we need for our day to day lives.
Precisely similar to their physical counterpart, if we don't keep it intentionally, no matter how much we delete our files, we will still be overwhelmed by incoming digital information.
Often times, we are cluttered with information, apps, emails and whatever digital distraction we can think of because they are free, but we ignore the fact that they take up a lot of our headspace and time.
Monitor your screen time usage per week, such as no screen time after a particular time of the day. Or even better, do a digital detox for a day of a week.
Next, mindful purchase. We need to stay cognizant of the things we purchase.
We have already made so much effort to declutter our lives. We wouldn't want to find ourselves back in the rabbit hole of buying new things for short dopamine rushes. If we're going to buy something for our collections, set a ceiling for us to keep our group in check.
When we want something badly, we can always justify our purchase for whatever reason we can think of. When we have the impulse, regardless of the senses, give ourselves some time to consider it through before deciding to buy. An excellent way to curb impulsive purchases is by using the wishlist strategy or the "wait for it" rule. Because during the wait, our impulse fades, and we can identify our wants and our needs, but I don't think it's wrong to purchase what we want.
Still, we must look into our current situation financially and physically and align with our values. Embrace the space. Now that we have completed decluttering and curb our temptation to buy something new let us enjoy the negative space we have in our life. Okay, negative space might connote something nasty, but we are looking at the physical space we have, the freedom from things.
Let us appreciate it. Sometimes we feel the need to have something just to occupy space because now it looks too empty. We acquire decorative items, which serve no purpose and provide no value. Sometimes it's fair to have open spaces to emphasize the beauty of other things. Or even better, emptiness by itself can be or should be appreciated.
Next, learn to say no.
It is tough to say no to our loved ones and family. However, sometimes we have to focus on the self. Minimalism is not solely about owning less.
It's also about protecting scarce resources like time, so we can spend it on the things we truly value. We are not obligated to accept everything that is offered or gifted to us.
Remember this. When we say no to gifts, invitations or commitments that will overwhelm our lives, we are saying yes to ourselves.
Next, is having a Minimalist budget. It feels great if we can have the money to buy high-quality, aesthetically pleasing and even a brand that acts as a form of reliability. However, with so many benefits, that comes with a hefty price. And being a minimalist, they always say quality over quantity.
But that doesn't mean we have to splurge on things with the highest price or highest quality because minimalism is not for the poor, nor is it for the rich.
It's for anyone who wants to live their life intentionally. That's when having a minimalist budget is an important habit to have. We all have different things we value and financial situations.
The whole concept of less is more can apply to our budgets too. We try to spend less to save more. So we can spend it on things we care about.
A minimalist budget can help us to focus only on what we need and eliminates whatever is redundant. For me, an account helps me a lot lately as I have to replace my laptop. With so many options out there in the market, I got really tempted by the prettiest choice. Having a strict budget acts as a reality check for me.
Lastly, enjoy the journey because minimalism has no destination. In life, we always aim for the goal. Every trip seems to be daunting because what we want is only to reach the destination. No doubt achieving what we strive for is fantastic, but wouldn't it be better if we can enjoy the journey as well.
What's fun about minimalism is that there's no destination, no rules, and no perfect examples for you to follow. It is highly individual. Don't rush and take your time to identify what truly matters to you and enjoy the process of living a simple life. And it's not based on the internet. It's based on your own values.
These minimalist habits could help us a lot with our minimalism journey, and they act as a reminder for us to be mindful of the things we bring in.

Varied Emotions (Tagalog)
May mabuti at mayroon ding masama.

**1 The Jollibee**
**2 The Bookworm**
**3 The Nerd Type A**
**4 The Nerd Type B**
**5 The Nerd Type C**
**6 The Invisible Type A**
**7 The Invisible Type B**

Avoid Impulse Buying
*Online shopping is a thing that is fun to do, yet it is costly. For sure, a lot of people will be going to take advantage of the significant discounts to be offered on December 12 at various online shopping platforms such as Lazada and Shopee.*
Before buying, I will gonna share some online shopping rules that every online shopper should learn.
Online shopping is definitely growing and comes with some significant benefits, but also some extreme downside. So, it is good to learn some shopping rules. These are the things that can help anyone to operate online shopping productively so that you can make smart purchases.
So let's start.
***The first rule is avoidance.***
It is very tempting to add items in your cart when you are bored, but because sellers want to continually encourage you to buy and make you feel like you always need to try something new, which is something you might need.
There is no need to just buy and have things that will not really work for your personal style. So instead it is recommended to keep a wish list, sticking to that wish list, and only looking online when you actually need to buy something from your wish list.
It will help you to avoid a lot of impulses, and in fact, it can develop your own style with just the choice. It is really recommended to do it because you will be really happy with how you feel about your clothes because buying something new doesn't necessarily improve your style.
So instead, really focus on what's in your wardrobe. Get inspiration and reunion outfits in a new way using what you are already doing.
***Next is to take color into consideration.***
Color is a tool used by retailers that makes you want to buy things because why wouldn't they do it? This is the overall purpose, and therefore it is crucial to know how color works for you in your personal lifestyle.
It is best to have the perfect color palette for you. The colors work for where you live and what you like to wear, and then stick to it, and avoid things that are too far outside that color palette. This way everything matches and actually go together well, and you get more use from your wardrobe.
Understanding color is also essential because if you understand how specific colors look at different people, you can see more efficiently when a retailer has designed a model in a color that is very good for that. Is, because he's going to look great, and they make that piece look fantastic, and you'd start thinking, maybe I want that dress. Perhaps that dress works in my wardrobe, but if you know how it works or contrasts with your own color palette and your own color, it can make you a sensible purchase choice. Those One can avoid things that are marketed to a greater audience, but not necessarily you and your personal style.
***If you do not know your measurements, then shopping online is impossible. So this is the next rule. Always know your measurements, and keep them in mind when shopping online.***
So to find them, two methods actually work well. The first is to take your measurements with a tape measure. Buy something loose. You can find these at any shop and of course at any craft shop, and then you want to move down your shoulders, the width of your shoulders. You must know your waist measurement, which is the most comprehensive place in your body, and then your waist measurement which is the shortest point on your waist, and it is usually around your belly button. You also want to know the height of your pants, and it is anywhere from your belly button to your belly button and then anywhere and then inside your pants.
You do that on the inner side of your leg where you want to lower your pants, and then your hips as well, and this is all around the wide space of your hips. The second way I recommend finding your measurements is to take a piece of clothing you already have that is your sweetest. Which fits you best. Keep it flat.
So, that's it. I hope you learned something!
Gen Z
Generation Z or "Gen Z" is known for being diverse from race, and ethnicity than the earlier generations. According to the Pew Research Center, Gen Z is tracked to be the most educated generation yet and the natives when it comes to technology.
Though Gen Z has its right sides, the first generations always talk about the wrong sides of my generation, phrases like "they are a bunch of cowards", "they are weak", "they are crybabies", or even the common phrase "you had it easier than us".
*Yes, all of these opinions may be true but is Gen Z the generation of sissies or weaklings? My answer is no. In this world, we live in today, a world full of corrupt and unrealistic standards, Generation Z stood out.*
This generation is the one who protested for the BLM, the generation which slowly learned how to eradicate racism, ageism, and even sexual stereotypes. They understood more of the mental illnesses or health issues that an individual may be suffering from and never called them "crazy", and instead they give respect.
Furthermore, I know in the future, Generation Z will be one of the most successful generations that were once called the "weaklings."

Philippine Mythology's gods and goddesses
*It may sound attractive for book lovers and fans of mythologies to read an article or two related to this matter. And so for this article, we will gonna talk about that.*
Zeus, Aphrodite, Ares, Hercules, Hermes, and many more greek gods and goddesses may sound so familiar to you. In this article, we will not talk about them. We will be talking about another mythology that may or may not be familiar to you. It is the Philipines Mythology. Sounds interesting, right? If your attention got hooked, consider reading it until the end.
Philippine mythologies are the Philippines' myths that have been or still are being passed down from one generation to another through oral means such as verbal communication. It is a compilation of stories and superstitions about mystic beings, a.k.a. deities whom our ancestors held guided everything.
Every ethnic community in the country has its own distinct pantheon of deities and faith systems. Here are some of the most dominant gods and goddesses in the Philippines:
*****Bathala*****
He is also recognized as *Abba*. This highest-ranking god was labeled as the creator of each thing. His origin is unknown, but his name implies Hindu influences. According to William Henry Scott, *Bathala* **is gratified when his people obey his rules, providing everything they require to the point of spoiling them (so, the** ***bahala na*** **philosophy).** But, this great god could also be rough sometimes, hurling lightning and thunder to those who trespass against him.
*****Dumangan*****
**He** **was the Tagalog sky-god of good harvest.** He is also the companion of *Idianale.* *Dumakulem* and *Anitun Tabu* were his son and daughter.
In Zambales culture, *Dumangan* (or *Dumagan*) induced the rice to *"generate better grains."* According to F. Landa Jocano, Zambales's early characters also held *Dumagan* had three siblings who were just as strong as him.
*****Idianale*****
She was one of the other minor deities who lived with *bathala* in the sky. Any of these lower-ranking gods and goddesses had distinct duties. ***Idianale*** **is known to be the goddess of labor and good deeds.**
There are varying reports as to what particular field *Idianale* was praised for. One Historian said that *Idianale* was the goddess of agriculture, while other references imply that she was the protector of animal stewardship, a branch of agriculture.
*****Dumakulem*****
He was the son of *Dumangan and Idianale* and the brother of *Anitun Tabu, the* wind goddess. **The early Tagalogs honored him as the defender of the mountains.** He is usually represented as a mighty and skilled hunter.
This Tagalog sky-god succeeding bound the knot with another primary deity, *Anagolay*, who is identified as the goddess of missed items. They had two children: *Apolaki*, who is the sun god, and *Dian Masalanta*, the lovers' goddess.
*****Apolaki*****
He is arguably the Filipino equivalent of the Roman god Mars. Apolaki emerged in some early myths. **The Tagalogs worshiped** ***Apolaki*** **as the sun god as well as the front of the warriors.** He accords almost the same features as *Aring Sinukuan,* who is known to be the Kapampangan sun god of war and death.
Prehistoric individuals of Pangasinan asserted that Apolaki spoke to them.

A Landless Farmer Who Moved A Mountain
***Do humans have the power to move a mountain on his own?***
When something impossible is expected, people often say that you must move the mountain first before it becomes possible. But what if I say there is a man who actually moved a mountain through his bare hands and simple, handy tools?
People who need motivation may certainly get motivated by knowing this story. This story may touch your heart. It may open up our eyes that no matter how things seem impossible, there will always be miracles.
This is an ordinary man's story, and his love for his wife originally kindled the fire within him to create a road in a mountain.
This history was made by an Indian Farmer named **Dasrath Manjhi.** It was 61 years ago when he initiated out to cut a 1mk-long path into a rugged hillside, all by himself, to do it more comfortable for his fellow villagers to reach schools, markets, and neighboring villagers.
But what is the reason why he has decided to do it?
Faguni Devi, his wife, and he really love each other. But one unfortunate day, his wife was accidentally harmed severely while traversing the hill to take him water while working then on a farm over the mountains. After the accident, she fell sick and eventually died because she could not be brought to the nearest hospital, which is about 70 kilometers away in time.
From that moment, his world shattered. His love for his wife was the original sparkle that kindled in him the urge to scrape out a road, not just for that reason, but also for the whole community. Because for him, he would not like viewing something like what had happened to his wife to happen again.
According to him, the people there have requested the government several times to create a decent road through the hill, but no one returned any notice. So he has decided to do it all by himself.
He used chisel, hammer, and shovel in cutting down the mountains. Those people who were passing by thought he was mad at first. They laugh at him as if he was crazy for doing such an arduous task. But as time passed, people noticed his determination, and some lend help by giving him food and buying him tools. After triumphantly doing it, all the Gaya district people have nothing but grace and full-heartedly appreciation for the "mountain man" who single-handedly shaped their lives so much more comfortable.
After working the road unceasingly for 22 lengthy years, he carved a hundred and ten meters long and nine and one-tenth-meter wide road through the mountain. He was able to reduce his village's distance from the most proximate town by more than 40 kilometers. His undertaking had helped his critics, including his derogators. The route was named after him - Dasrath Manjhi path in his greatness. Yes, it took him 22 years to accomplish his self-determined task, which yielded him eternal recognition.
From this story, we discover that we can accomplish anything in life if we want it and enthusiastic about putting in the hard work. Like what he said:
"What I did is there for everyone to see. When God is with you, nothing can stop you."
No matter how hard it, no matter how far it is, as long as you have faith, perseverance, and hard work, just like what **Dasrath Manjhi** has done, you can also fulfill and reach your goals.

5 Tips for Effective Online Shopping
**Online Shopping: Tips Before Adding To Cart**
**Are you the type of person who loves shopping online? Do you just add to your cart anything you wanted even without thinking about it? Or are you the person who wants to shop online but aren't sure about the quality of the item you will receive?**
Just go over these five tips if you are struggling with the proper way to shop online so that the next time you will do it, you will have a better online shopping experience.
*Let's jump right into it!*
**For tip number one, always read reviews before adding to cart.**
As we all know, the pictures shown for the online items are sometimes deceiving. What you are expecting is far different from what you are going to receive, so it is essential to always read reviews. If the number of bad reviews is greater than those good ones, you need to find another shop for the same item but with better quality.
**For tip number 2, make sure to avail discounts and free shipping vouchers.**
I am sure some of you can be quickly hooked when you see a discount on an item, no matter how little the discount is. As I have noticed, even if the price of the item was only discounted for some cents, it feels like, "Oh, there is a discount, I should buy it now." Though, nothing's wrong with it. When shopping online, some vouchers are being offered. It can be discount vouchers, free shipping, and even cash backs. Make sure to avail them to save money.
**For the third tip, buy at trusted brands or preferred stores online.**
Not because other online stores' price is lower than those of trusted ones, you will already choose the cheaper one. In my case, I can't afford expensive items, and I do love lower prices, but I always make sure that the item I am buying is worth it. I always buy at trusted stores even if the price is a little bit higher than others, but at least, the quality is much better than those ones. What is the sense of buying it if you do not even get satisfied with it. So, always buy at trusted and proven stores online so that you won't regret in the end. Doing your research is so important with online shopping. There are so many online stores, so many options available, but if you are unfamiliar with the company it is good to do your research and make sure that your money is being well spent.
**After adding the items to the online cart, the fourth tip would be to not buy or check it out yet.**
Most of the time, we are being deceived by the prices, so we add them to the cart. Wait for a moment, then go back with it. You will just realize that you did not really need some of that stuff anyway, and you won't even edify anything, but if you do come back and there are still those one or two or more pieces that you are thinking about and you think you really want and need them, then go ahead and purchase those. But sometimes I find this is such a good thing to do (I am not sure if you are, too) because it really makes you realize you really do not need any of that stuff since it is just so fun to just add things to your cart and then pretend like you are shopping. What I mean is that it is just an excellent test to see for yourself if you really need those pieces or not. So I would highly recommend doing that the next time your online shopping just step away for a couple hours and then come back and see if you even want it. It could just be the impulse that is why you have added them to your cart.
**For the fifth and last tip, know your body and know what works for you. Also, ask the seller before buying.**
It is very essential to consider this one, especially when buying shirts or pants online. Make sure that it fits properly. Sometimes, chances are they probably won't fit correctly, and of course, it is very hassled to go through the whole hassle of returning something and shipping it back. So that is definitely something to keep in mind when you are shopping online. You can chat with the seller before buying to make sure it will fit you. You can ask a favor to request an actual measurement of the item and pictures before shipping to at least have a glimpse of what you will receive once it is shipped.
***Among the tips mentioned above, which do you think you can apply when shopping online? Do not hesitate to leave your comment.***
