Tranquility in the Air
With just a few weeks before Christmas, it is a good time to take a look and examine ourselves.
We still face Christmas amidst the stink of overflowing problems in our country. This year, indeed, surprised us with so many shocking events.
The battle against the pandemic is not yet ended, but another storm has just tried to bring us down.
If there are people who have become sarcastic and cynical due to these life circumstances, it may be not surprising.
Just try to answer this one: What will be our Christmas Celebration this year?
We have varied answers for sure, and since there is a comme t section below, you could right down there what you have to say.
The storms of life are too great. Typhoon Rolly and Typhoon Ulysses destroyed many things, especially houses, and took the lives of some Filipinos. It is not only the physical damage that it caused, it also caused trauma to the people. Seeing the news via the Television that shows the condition of our fellow countrymen during the rage of storms is really melting our hearts.
It was so sad and devastating. The flood which reached even the second or third floors of houses are really frightening. Pity to those people and animals who were stucked at the roof of their houses. But, still there is something to be grateful for because we have our fellow countrymen who have a good heart who helped in rescuing those who needed help.
On the other side, the virus is still there. The fear inside us is still here. Let us just continue to do the right things to permanently eradicate the spread of the virus.
Corruption is still very rampant. It widens the gap between the rich and the poor. But these are not enough to dampen the spirit.
Everyone aspire to have a better future. But there is one thing to put in our mind. Problems come and go. Well, one day we will again go out without the fear from the treath of virus. One day, these current situations we are currently experiencing will vanish.
Moreover, future is not achieved in just a single snap of our fingers. Indeed, determination is an instrument to make things better.
In this yuletide season, we need pure determination, hope and faith. We hope that after these storms in our life, the calm in our hearts will still remain. Same holds true to peace, joy, and spiritual recovery.
Why should one exam himself because of Christmas?
Today a specialist (doctor) in the Netherlands told us to skip Christmas this year. What do you think about that?
