For little kindness, immense response

The word "kindness" has a lot of hidden facts in it. An act of kindness can come in any form. May be in the form of monetary, by charity, by pleasing words, by just blessings, by a true smile, unaccountable gifts. To be precise, somethings that we never expected.

The happiness you find in one's face when being kind towards them cannot be expressed in words. It might pour down in the form of tears with joy. For some the words are just stopped. Deep in the heart, its a blessing that entitles us to increase our good deeds.

Yesterday was the house warming ceremony of my husband's cousin. He is the youngest of eight siblings in the family. Everyone shared their happiness. Truly speaking the happiness was spread in air. Because when he came to our home to invite us he said some facts that nearly led him to tears.

When his father died, none of the eight siblings had a home to be called their own. Some were married while some were studying. All under one roof. It was his father's dream to see atleast one of them have a home to be called his own. Most of them were jobless.

Few people were kind enough to help them find a job. Finally, the elder one left abroad and placed with a better job. As he was doing well, he gradually started taking each of his brothers and placed them with better jobs. Simultaneously, he got his sisters married. The younger siblings are much indebted to the older one without whose support and kind heart, they would have been helpless.

It was a matter of proud moment for them on this occasion as everybody has a house of their own. That is the reason I mentioned happiness was in air. But they were missing their father very much.

You don't have to go insearch of anything, things will come to you if you show humanity in the form of "kindness". The beauty of yours, lies in your heart.

This reminded me of another incident. Years before when I was working as a chief librarian in an International school, I was given two assistants to assist me. But they were paid a meagre salary. They had a family to support. So once a while I used to help them monetarily.

Each time I give them something they used to acknowledge saying "so kind of you Mam". Whenever I get to hear this from them, I feel Iam blessed. Doing something to the needy and seeing them smile is the best thing we can do.

Not only to human but a little act of kindness even to animals, will put you in wonder. You just give a little pat or food to street cats or dogs, you can see it after you the following day. My neighbor has a cow. When the milkman is not available she tries her best to squeeze the milk from cow. But due to her harsh words, the cow never lets her near her. So even it knows who is kind and who is not.

Hatred is supposed to be our own worst enemy and kindness is supposed to be our best friend. So follow it and get uncountable rewards from Almighty's side.
