A teamwork defined.

Remember that in the oxen-pull contest, the winning combination is individual strength and teamwork.

I would define the very best of teamwork as two or more people who each have gained great individual strength by the consistent and dominant use of their divine brains.

Each team member is deliberate in the development of his or her own character.

The members of the team may have different backgrounds, personalities, talents, and skills, but what binds them together is their commitment to being familiar with and having confidence in the same trainer's voice of character and moral strength.

This voice is clear, near, and familiar.

Teamwork is channelling this trainer's voice towards a common cause and contribution to others.

The very best teams—whether the teams are families, work teams or any other group—are pre-forgiving of themselves and others.

Instead of judging and simply stating the faults of another, they see the faults of others as a monkey-brain and lizard-brain thinking creeping in, and they wisely put all their efforts into helping their teammates get back to devine-brain thinking.

They help their family and teammates tune in to the trainer's voice of character, and their teammates help them do the same when needed.

The very best teams are full of hope and nurture the devine in others.
