Many people striving to achieve different results have an unrelenting focus on taking different actions.

This make sense, But it's complete.

You have probably heard the expression that the definition of insanity is doing the same things and expecting different results.

It's natural to think that doing things differently would produce different results.

This at least works on paper.

Yet when it comes to the execution of those actions, Many times it is either lacking or unsustainable.

When I say lacking, I mean a lot of commitments and promises are made, But there is not much action and follow through.

When I say unsustainable, I am referring to commitments we make such as New Year's resolutions.

We get off to a good start on January 1st, But our new desired behaviors and changes as well as our resolve are all gone by February 1st.

As a parent, Have you ever told your children what to do over and over again, And yet the changes you wanted don't happen? You may have even posed the question, “How many times do I have to tell you to...?”

Have you ever had team members at work come to you wanting to know what they should do? Have you noticed that sometimes, After you give them your sage advice, They then proceed to tell why your advice simply won't work? Why does that happen? It happen because we may come to an agreement on what to do, But we are not in alignment on the thinking on such actions or the how we feel about taking those actions.

For example, We may all agree that exercises and eating a healthy diet is a good thing to do, But when it comes time to actually do what we know we should, We can think of reasons why not to exercise or eat right on a given day, Or we just may not feel like doing them today.

He who cannot change the very fabric of his thought will never be able to change reality, And will never, Therefore, Make any progress.

I really agree with this , there is a saying that, "To change your earnings or achievements , you got to change your daily schedule". So no one can just pass an exam if he continues to sit idle but will pass if he or she changes that to start learning..

He who cannot change the very fabric of his thought will never be able to change reality, And will never, Therefore, Make any progress

A wise saying there , People might be saying okay I am ready to change but without the ability or change in mind it will be really difficult I may say to change reality..

Making up your mind is what is needed first to make everything happen
