Climate, food habits and political system are some of the reasons why Asian countries are lagging behind in football. Also there are many other reasons that I am not aware of. Although our country does not know how to play football well like the countries of the European-American continent, the people of our country are not less as supporters of their different countries. In the country of Argentina, you will not find any football team supporter other than Argentina, similarly if we talk about Brazil, the football lovers of that country love Brazil but hate Argentina. Arguably the most competitive match in the subcontinent is between Argentina and Brazil. It is not that fans of players like Pele Maradona cannot be found all over the world. No other country can find the beautiful football game like Argentina and Brazil, which is why the supporters of these two countries can be found all over the world.
If you search on google you will find that the most popular sport in the whole world is football and football is so popular because four billion people are connected to this sport.
Now Bangladesh may not have millions of people but 70 percent of the people of this country are involved in football and prefer football more than any other sports. People of this country stay up at night to watch the UCL game. Previously, their favorite team was Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool or PSG, but over time, their preferences changed due to the transfer of big football stars. My current favorite football club is PSG because that club has the world famous star footballer Lionel Messi.
But right now I am not talking about any Premier League or UEFA Champions League but about Qatar World Cup football in November 2022.
Every four years when the football world cup starts, all over Bangladesh, young or old, minister or minister, the world cup frenzy is created. With frenzy, they put the flag of their supported team on their roof, when the supported team wins a match, they start marching on the road with the Honda flag of that team.
In every house there is a kind of sweet war between father and son, whether Brazil will win or Argentina will win. In each area of the village everyone starts the game of Argentina vs. Brazil in which the small children of the area including the young boys and girls participate.
The World Cup is less than three months away, due to which the excitement of Qatar has already started reaching Bangladesh. Every team participating in Qatar World Cup 2022 is a contender to win the World Cup, especially European countries are doing well in football. Even though Brazil is shown as the most favorite team on Google, according to Argentina's statistics, the World Cup will go to Argentina's house this time. Now everyone is waiting for the right time because time will tell who will win the World Cup trophy.
