Own Business

Many may know that I am a student. But in the space of study I like to learn and do new things. Experiencing something new seems like an advance to me. But it is not always possible to acquire skills on new subjects for study. But when the pressure of study is low, I do many things in my personal life including coding, digital marketing, blogging on read.cash platform, cryptocurrency trading. But there are so many new things in the world that it is not possible to acquire knowledge above all. But a little bit of research on the subjects that I like, I also get a good knowledge about it.
A few days ago I got a touch of a new experience besides studying. The point is, many people sell street food on the street. Which we all eat more or less. My street food is much more favorite. We made a plan with a few cousins to set up a street food shop together. Our village home fair is held every year. The fair offers numerous street food stalls. So according to our plan we will rent a stall there and sell some street food. Although the sale of street food was for fun, the business was not intended to be profitable in any way. The day before the fair, we built a house at the fair. The street foods were: blisters and hotpot. Because there was not much money to make many items. We spent about $ 30 to buy street food ingredients. The night before the fair, my mother and aunt helped us prepare the food. And our purpose was to sell those foods. So that night we prepared the street food and got ready in the morning to go to the fair to sell them. Since there was a fair in the village, it is natural for the younger ones to come to the fair. And our purpose was to make them happy with more food at lower prices. So on the day of the fair according to the plan, we arrived at the fair with food in the morning. But I realized that we were actually too late to enter the fair. We live in the city, it is about 8-9 o'clock to wake up. But the people of the village wake up at 5 or 6 in the morning. However, our customers were not less than late. Many small children surrounded our stall to buy food. Where other stalls sell blisters at 30 Taka ($0.35) per plate, we started at just 5 Taka ($0.06) per plate. Poor boys and girls are very happy to get food at such a low price. Even if they were 2 taka ($0.03) we would give him a little. In other words, we did not return the food to anyone. Because many of us ate food from here for no reason, they had no money. We just wanted to see the smiles on their faces. We took about 800 blisters to sell. Which I was selling at $0.04 per piece. The thing that will surprise you is that we thought it would take us a whole day to sell 800 Fuchs but on the first day of the fair all Fuchs were sold out by noon. We had no more fluke or other street food in stock. Disappointingly, the fair is packed in the afternoon, but all our meals are finished before noon. Otherwise we could have sold a lot more street food at extra profit. Because everyone started liking our food. We sold so much that the other stalls next to us looked at us. Because they could not sell like us. Although I feel bad for them, there is a saying "It is not good to expect more profit". If they were selling food at a lower price than us, they would not lack customers. On the first day and the second day of the fair, we invested about $40. From there we are able to earn about $70. That means in two days there is a profit of about $30. Although we could have made more money if we wanted to, we didn't do it just for fun. It was the best experience of my life with little boys and girls. I would like to express my gratitude to all my cousins who have helped me to have such an experience.
If you have any such experience in your life, be sure to share it with mentioning me.
I don't engage myself with other kind of business when I was still a student. I don't know why, maybe I was not a business minded person. Well, even now. But, I did suggest my mama to make a small sari-sari store in our house so that we can have an extra income aside from my papa's income at work and my earnings in here. (I still don't have a stable job by the way.)
