Wealth gives people external happiness and comfort. But money is not needed for peace of mind. A class of people has lost generosity, empathy, humanity in the lure of money. They are busy with their own pleasures and luxuries.
But they are not emotionally happy even though they have made a lot of money. There are also people in the world who spend their wealth for the sake of humanity. They value the mind, not the money. They do not face any crisis due to lack of wealth. The welfare of the people is the main goal of these people.
The people of the world do not remember the mountain of wealth of the stingy rich man. Because their wealth does not benefit anyone. So as soon as the stingy rich man dies, people forget him. But many kings and emperors have left the path of nobility and opulence and worked for the betterment of humanity.
That is why people remember them. Examples include Gautam Buddha, Haji Muhammad Muhsin, Sri Chaitanya and many other great personalities. These people are real people. Because they despised wealth and gave it to the call of the heart. And so they have become memorable in the history of civilization.
Many countries in the world do not lack resources but there is no peace of mind. Family ties between people in developed countries are very weak. So today there are various initiatives to strengthen the family bond between them. Because they have realized that peace of mind is the real peace.
The mind has to be enlarged, not grown up in external glamar. Life is meaningless without peace of mind. People who are rich in mental resources are real people.
