Today, I will share this beautiful creature to you, I'm really lucky to spot it, I captured it today at 8:40 AM. When i captured this one, I really didn't make a noise, it will fly away into different place if I did. 😅

There are so many beautiful creatures in the word, and I'm so happy to share it with you guys.

Can you see it guys? It's so tiny and can't really see it if you don't stare at it for a seconds or a minute? ✌️

In Philippines, we call it "Tutubi" or Dragonfly in english. According to Dragonfly-site there are different types of dragonfly, thanks to that site I discovered the name of this dragonfly.

The special feature of a dragonfly is it's eyes that have more than 24,000 ommatidia. An Omatidium contains a cluster of photoreceptor cells surrounded by support cells and pigment cells.

Mountain Tigertail Dragonfly or Eusynthemis tillyardi gets its name from the black and yellow markings along its slim body. Their larvae are hairy and have a pointed body adapted to living in gravel, sand and mud.

Most dragonflies inhabit the temperate and tropical regions. Though, till recently, they were not considered as an endangered species, recent studies reveal the quick rate of depletion of the  dragonfly numbers. The main reasons considered for their decline are the deforestation of rainforest habitats, drying up of freshwater bodies like streams, pools and lakes, forest clearance and pollution. If this continues, their habitat will be wiped out, and they will become an extinct species soon. 😥😥
