Hello! Good day to you. It's the second day of the month. I wish you a productive day

Setting your priorities right means focusing your energy, concern and attention on what's really most important. Setting your priorities right is important because everyother thing needs to be done right.

So many people have what I call to do list. This comprises of activities or things to do for daily activities, weekly or monthly activities. With this to do list, one can be able to schedule his or her time well. It also consist of programs or events to attend within a particular period of time.

The question is how many people are following this to do list? Lack of concentration is one major factor. So many things distracts our daily activities and this has been hindering our perfectly planned way of doing things. It ruins our aims because we discover we couldn't meet up anymore.

There are lots of things you might have planned to do, some have planned to read some books for a particular period of time, some had planned to work on a certain project, to visit a friend or family, to go for a trip or an excursion, but as time goes on, we discover that we have failed to reach these things because of some hindering factor.

Setting your priorities right

Priority is a goal that you have think is more important than the other. Priorities should be dealt with the most important. We have failed to realize this which has led to our or schedules being jeopardized.

You treat your priority right, the most important comes first among others. In this new month, we should set our priority right, so that we can accomplish all our aims and plans for this month.

A short story

I will like to share a short story, this happens to a friend of mine who is planning to get a new house and at the same time planning to get a new phone. Her house rent will be exhausting by the end of the month and it's already the end of the month. She is planning to move out and get a new place since the place she's staying before is far from school. Whereas, her phone has been giving her problems but she is still managing it for now.

Eventually, she got some amount of money, then she purchased a new phone with the money. Things got quite difficult when the week runs out and she needs to pack out of her place, but she couldn't get another money at that time to get a new apartment since she had used the former one to get a new phone. She ended up squatting with some friends here and there and she ended up sleeping in her church sometimes. Well, I wouldn't say what she did was right or wrong, but I will say she have placed her priority wrongly.

Conclusion

In some way, one thing is important than the other, why not do that thing you think is important first. Sometimes it's feels as if you have done it right, you can go back, check and reason well if you have been placing your priority right.

Try and figure out what's important to you at that moment. Determine how you want to live your life and do things this month. If probably you are confused, talk to a mentor to guide you in what to do. Sometimes it takes time.

Thanks for reading.

Resolutions are so easy to make and also easy to break. Most people would feel fired up but would only last a week before they relapse. We need to know what's important to us and then plan our lives accordingly. We need to set our priorities right. Life moves by so quickly.

Setting ones priorities right would really save one's time and one would end up being productive. And that's because one has already mapped out what to do everyday, but just like you said: most of us have to do list but it's hard to actually do the things on our to do list
