Happiness and Betrayal

Alfred, a rich guy who goes any length to get what he wants especially women, he is quite popular in school for his handsomeness, among girls especially. They do fight against each other about him sometimes. Alfred isn't bothered about this at all he has his way of getting girls if he wants. Despite his attitude and the kind of person he is, he is brilliant and hard-working, he isn't much devoted to books but he's a brilliant type. He got high scores in his courses despite the fact that he plays a lot. He's an hard-working type, he takes different offers he is opportuned to get, especially jobs that are related with computers.

Ariana is a simple and quiet girl. She grew up in an average family. She focuses mainly on her studies in school. She never allowed anything to distract her. She made some friends in school but they are not so closed. Ariana is an introvert but the friends she has are the complete opposite. They are all gregarious in nature. Her whole journey in the college is encircled around her hostel and her lecture rooms.

Alfred noticed Ariana in class one day and decided to approach her. They were both in their final year and also the same class. He is just the type of girl he likes, slim, tall and dark. Ariana hardly knows anyone in class or let's say she's not interested. He approached her after class telling her of his intentions. He likes her and would like them to date. This got many female students jealous, they have tried to gain his attention all these while but he goes for someone who isn't interested in her. Ariana declined his offer politely. She tells him he isn't interested in dating anyone, Alfred then offered to be his friend which she agreed to.

Alfred takes his time to study Ariana very well, to be able to win her heart he will have to study her well. Firstly, he let go of his "Playboy" kind of life. Ariana does not like that kind of person, he stops partying and some other things that does not make him a serious fellow to her. He has made a lot of sacrifices and he will go to any length to make sure he gets this girl. Ariana likes him for that fact that he's an hard-working type. She has been a lot of help to him for that past three weeks they have been friends. She helps him find jobs and opportunities she feels will be of help to him.

Soon he finally had a chance to win her over, they began dating. At first Ariana feels reluctant about this but as time goes on, she sees him as a reponsible guy. News about them began flying all around all he could think of at that time is Ariana. She is a nice girl, he likes her in a way he didn't expect. I assume he doesn't really know her when he approached her.

Few months passed, they never grow tired of each other. Rumours have died down. However, Ariana friends never stopped hating her, Sandra felt she had betrayed because she once told her she likes Alfred but she didn't realise that Ariana does not really pay attention to her talking about guys, she's isn't always interested in talking about guys or love stuffs.

Alfred resumes to his previous life, he parties, picks on girls, he is done pretending or let's say he couldn't cope with that life. Ariana tried to cope with his life but it's beyond her, she felt betrayed. But Alfred is never sorry even to the point that she wanted them to break up. Ariana cried a lot, she has never given her heart to a guy. She is completely broken.

Few months passed they were already preparing for their graduation from college. Ariana had moved on and it doesn't feel like she has been heart broken before. Alfred had some other relationships with some girls but they didn't last more than one month.

On the day of their graduation, Sandra came to have a talk with Alfred, she wanted to apologise to him for causing clashes between him and Ariana. Earlier, when Ariana and Alfred were still dating, Sandra had came to inform Alfred that Ariana had several relationship with guys, she told him Ariana is pretending to love him. Sandra apologized and told him none is them were true. She was actually jealous and wanted them apart.

Alfred was torn apart, he has allowed a mere word to cause separation between himself and Ariana. The truth is that he failed to confide in Ariana when Sandra told him, he assumed everyone is like him, girls not excluded. He felt that's the kind of life everyone lives, no true love just betrayal. Even though he isn't perfect, Ariana had loved her truly.

Looking at her from a distant, he had realised that he lost someone dear to his heart. He wondered what will happen if he goes to her and apologize. He wants her back but does she want him back. If he explained what had happened, will she forgive him. Taking a step closer towards, he had nothing else in his mind than to talk with her.
