Yesterday, I talked about "knowing your partner". Starting a family and teenage pregnancy is the focus today. To start a family, there must be a wife or wives, and Husband, obviously. Man and woman legally married, comes together to recreate, that's a family.
Recall, before you gladly say "yes" to him, know your genotypes. This is where teenage pregnancy comes in. When a Lady under the age of twenty (20) gets pregnant, either legally as a married woman or not, it's known as "Teenage pregnancy".
Commonly between the ages of 14-19 (fourteen - nineteen). And in some cases, can include girls as young as 10 years old.
Pregnancy,of course, is as a result of sexual activity. Mind you, I'm not against getting pregnant at a young age and I'm not also in support. This article is not to criticize,it's a free world. I'm just worried about you girls. Why?
Most teenagers just have sex endlessly after successfully getting a boyfriend, take pictures and enjoy life to the fullest without a care about their lover's Genotype. What if your boyfriend is AS and you,AS? And you mistakenly get pregnant with the determination to keep your baby. Eii, that's a problem nah, don't you know?
Teens engage in sexual activities just like the way they gulp down a glass of water after a tiring work out session. I believe that getting pregnant as a teen isn't a mistake, it's intentional. Because, if it's not what you really wanted as a teen, why will you continue to have unprotected sex with your partner, while he deposits ropes after ropes of semen into you, even at the detriment of your own health. Eh?
Apart from pregnancy, ain't you scared of sexually transmitted diseases? Must you have sex compulsorily,as a teenager? If it's a must, do it with protection,please.
Moreover, a pregnant teen should be proud of herself. Yes! Or, were you expecting a gold - filled mansion after receiving loads of sperm? Perhaps, A bowl of Ice cream? Come on girl, it's not a mistake. You know your safe period,yet you decided to have unprotected sex while ovulating, ahhh you obviously know the result.
The only account on which teenage pregnancy can be a mistake is Rape. To all rape victims out there with a child or children, sending you lots of love and warm hugs 🌹🥰💞. I'm super proud of you for keeping that baby, for that huge sacrifice. To those who couldn't muster the courage to keep their babies, I can't feel your pains, but I wish you well. Remain strong.
Babes, all I've been saying is this...if your aim is to get pregnant for your lover as a teen, please and please,do well to know his genotype before you become a mother. Do not make your child or children suffer cause of your selfish behaviour. Please!
But, if you feel your pregnancy is still a mistake, after giving birth go back to school. Go back to school and be the best version of yourself. Don't let motherhood ruin your dreams, you're still young,go back to school and study,hard. Having a child, shouldn't be the end of your life and ambition.
I know it's not easy to be a mother, but do not turn yourself into an impromptu housewife at a tender age. You won't be killed if you decide to go back to school.
Lastly, It's important to know if you and your partner are compatible. Don't go and get pregnant for someone that will later make your kids suffer o. Before you ask for Ice cream and Catfish, fried rice and salad, pepper soup and chilled Yoghurt, Ask for Genotype.

Teenage pregnancy should not be tolerated. Young people should be taught to be responsible for all the things they do. Young people nowadays are very hasten in making decisions. Most are not thinking of the consequences that will happen right after doing such things. They need guidance.
