Ummm.... it's true am graduated according to my cms portal and the cms get clarified that we are Graduated

But still our 10% of Graduation is incomplete because of our thesis work. I don't know how other people complete their research work and how was their supervisor. But from the past eighth months for me thesis is that type of fear which i can't digest till yet. Reason is just simple am just childern who's want to enjoy her life instead of living under the pressure of things. Although am not 100% pressure of thesis i enjoyed my life fully by watching lots of dramas on youtube. But with all these activities all time i keep in mind am not getting serious about my research work. Beside of my non-serious behavior, covid-19 also play a major role in the incompletion of research work.

As due to COVID-19, teachers also taken classes from home so they are also stay busy in other activities and have found no time for us. Even my mam didn't properly assigned the research topic. First Dandelion was selected as my research work topic. But its the end of April 2021 when Mam assigned me this as a research topic. That's later on cancelled because we didn't perform the research work just theoretically we also need to perform experimental activities and for this different parts of plants required in large amount. While dandelion growing season is February, so later on mam cancelled it that's little bit sad me because i love this beautiful herb and its flowers.

Later on Mam said me search that medicinal plants which are commonly found in your area i said Mam Melia azedarach is best medicinal plant , it has lots of medicinal importance, also its not poisonous and commonly grown in our houses. But Mam said me no because lots of people already work on it, select some unique plant on which no one has previously worked. And then i told Mam about Calotropis that's also grown commonly in our area and is poisonous plants but also has a lot of medicinal importance. Mam said okay no one else working on it searched about medicinal activities of this plant i searched about it and found that different types of medicinal activities are found in it like antioxidant, antidiabetic, antibacterial, antifungal, hepatoprotective activity and many more. Mam selected antioxidant, antidiabetic with phytochmemical screening of the plants for me and for my other fellows because mostly activities are commonly found in the plants.

That's just topic selection and then Mam said us write your first chapter of introduction with the titles:

• Importance of plants

• Medicinal importance of plants

• Medicinal importance of plant family

• Then medicinal importance of un der researching plant.

• Area Introduction

• Statement of problems

• Aim and objective.

Mam just told us about these sub-headings not teach us writing the proper method of thesis. So we try to write the first chapter of thesis according to our own theories and surely that method was wrong. My friend choose the Cannabis sativa plant for her research topic so she suggested me to choose Calotropis as a research topic. Because both Cannabis and Calotropis are commonly found in our area. When i searched on Google i found two species of Calotropis one is Calotropis procera and the other is Calotropis gigantea. When i saw the pictures of these plants on google, i saw that Calotropis gigantea is commonly found in our area. So i selected this one specie of Calotropis for my research work and told it about this Mam, she also okay it. In the Middle of August our terminal examination of last semester has been ended and immediately after terminal exams we need a rough binding of thesis for grand viva etc. And till yet our lab work is totally incomplete so what we write in the chapter 3 of material and methodology and also in Discussion and Results. So after last paper there was weekend, and Mam immediately called all of us to her home to complete our thesis work. She teach all the things about lab work theoretically and complete our last three chapters within one day. And on that day my topic is again changed from "Phytochemistry, Antioxidant and Antidiabetic Activities of Calotropis gigantea"

Because we have only one day to complete our last three chapters so Mam reduced our research topic related activities. In this time i found my topic interesting, because it's simply about diabetes. That's how Calotropis plant is best for the treatment of diabetes. To perform this experimentally we selected the Rabbit, because rabbit are mammals and homology is found in mammals. Also their normal blood glucose level is nearly equal to that of human. To made the rabbit diabetes, alloxan is used to induce the diabetes in them and when the rabbit become diabetic we treated them with Calotropis leaves extract and then check their blood glucose level and insulin level. Now my topic is just rotated this that am got happy because this activity seems interesting.

Okay....... after this that our viva session has been started and now in this time our viva is divided into two parts one is internal which taken by our teachers and first they check our all mistakes that's found in our thesis and the other is external viva which are taken by other universities teachers and for this purpose two teachers came from Islamabad university, one sir handle the viva of M.S.C and other was handle the BS viva. As these teachers came from the best university of Pakistan so are so intelligent. Before the grand viva we are too much frightened that external teachers asked us a difficult questions. But he is so kind teacher and asked us a simple question related to our topic. But one of the biggest mistake he found in my thesis and that is according to him and eflora of Pakistan Calotropis gigantea is not found anywhere in Pakistan. But it's true that both of the species are commonly found in our area because we live in hilly areas. But sir said its too much difficult to defend any new thing in the research work you just need to change some little bit changing in your work and all other things are correct because both plants belong to the same family so again my research topic is changed from

Otherwise Mam also said us this Thesis is just your rough binding am not getting you cleared till yet your lab activities are not completed. And me also know that we just did the copy paste work so all time try to overcome on my laziness to complete the last three chapters according to my own research but am getting failed.

Also to complete the last three chapters we need to do the lab work. And for this purpose we started to go to the university from the 6th September but on this day our university is getting sealed due to the diagnosis coronavirus cases in some of the university teachers. Let's see what happened with us can we complete our research work on the behalf of our lab work or it's will remain supposed.

My Mistakes That Become The Reason Of Thesis Work Incompletion:

Covid-19 made me the lazy type of student who's don't have any kind of interest in study. Even though i have rough binding of my research work but am not completely satsified from it. Because i completed my whole thesis within two days that's why i know it's not properly finished. Am 100% completely unsatisfied from my research work. Am that type of student who's love to complete her any kind of work in a good way. But for the research work i always show the laziness:

• I passed my last two semesters, but not prepared myself for the research work.

• I fixed just one thing in my mind that's it too much difficult task i didn't complete it.

• For the research work, the first task is the confirmation of the topic, that's remain unconfirmed till the Grand viva.

• Also Mam started taking interest in our research work when only our last semester is left and after this for a month she's getting illed that's become the reason of my laziness.

• Although there are other fellows with me but all of them have those research topic on which previous student work is available in the library so they didn't face too much difficulty in research work.

All these reasons become the reason of Incompletion of my research work, and covid-19 play a major role in it, because if our university is opened and we take the proper physical classes then our this research work is completed easily, now in normal routine we didn't gone to the university on regular basis because traveling on the local transport is not easy. And now also our university is getting sealed due to covid-19 cases, that's delayed our lab activities on the long basis.

Closing Thoughts:

Nothing in the world is too much difficult, it's our thinking that made every task difficult. Let's see mine example due to no lab activities i just need to write the theoretical work that become good good if i do hardwork and take a study as my first priority. But in these days study become my last priority and now its time to take it serious because until the research work is not properly completed we didn't get clearence letter from the university, didn't do any kind of job or also didn't take admission next in any university. So to take the 100% Graduation degree we need to complete our research work honestly and by hardwork.
