What is good in a rainy season? A sour soup with lot of vegetables and pork.

Pork sinigang is one of favorite dish here in the philippines. The soup is great with vegetables and tender pork.

Here is my version of Pork Sinigang

Ingredient

  1. 2.2lbs pork

  2. 1 medium eggplant, cut into wedges

  3. Labanos, cut into wedges

  4. 5pcs okra cut in halves

  5. 3 pcs tomato cut into cubes

  6. Kangkong/spinach

  7. Beans cut into 2 inches long

  8. Onion, minced

  9. Cooking oil

  10. Water

  11. Sinigang mix original

  12. Salt

Procedure

  1. Heat oil in large pot, saute onion and tomatoes for 5 minutes then add pork. Stir until you see some oil coming out

  2. Put in water and let it boil in medium for 30 minutes

  3. Mix in the vegetables and let it simmer

  4. Add sinigang mix and salt

  5. Turn of the heat and add kangkong. Cover for a couple of minutes

  6. Serve and Enjoy!
