The first two weeks of November I got free from work.
I chose November for a potential vacation because IF I would survive the trial period I would have enough time to save some more money for a vacation.
Additional to that I would receive my bonus payment in November if I manage to reach the goals the company gave me.
I have Japan or the Philippines as a destination on my mind. My Japanese skills are fading away and it's way more expensive than the Philippines. But I'm not sure yet what to do.
Anyway... Things at work aren't looking that great for me so I shouldn't dream too much...
The money I saved and invested the past 5 years I'm now able to save and invest in less than 5 months.
But it still was important that I started investing as a student. I was able to learn how the financial markets work, how to decide for a proper asset allocation and which strategy is the best for me.
That's why I think it's important to start investing and building your wealth as soon as possible. Even if you are still in highschool.
The money you save won't make a difference in your long term portfolio, but the knowledge you gain will. You will learn from your mistakes and build a strong mindset about finances even before being able to invest serious amounts. ๐ค

Me investing and earning money from globally diversified index funds means that I'm also passively earning money from "poorer" 3rd world economies while they aren't even able to do invest into their own economy.

Where I live it takes less than 2 minutes to open up a free bank account with a stocks brokerage. You only have to hold your ID to your smarphone's NFC reader and your account is created and verified.
Investing into the worlds economy to participate into it's long term growth is super easy here.
I find it unfair that countries like Germany, Japan or the USA are super connected to the global financial markets and other "poorer" countries aren't.
For me it's one click to invest into the economy of any country of the world. (Maybe besides North Korea)
But while it's so easy for me it's difficult for the people who live in that country to even invest into their own economy.
Somehow that's unfair.
The past week I was looking into handheld modding like soldering new components. But especially into retro gaming on your Nintendo DS using a flashcard.
Since the Nintendo DS also has a Gameboy Advance slot you can actually play GBA roms on real hardware without emulation! ๐ฏ

While things at work are getting worse and my boss is starting to get mad at me I'm looking into investing my salary into Pokemon cards to outperform my other investments.

Monero is useful, needed and actively used.
People have to buy it regardless of the price so there is a constant demand. ๐ค๐
This is why I personally believe that XMR will outperform all the other crypto projects this bear market. Regardless of the regulatory difficulties.
Working remote for the majority of the time is pretty convenient. I'm at home in my comfy environment and can fully focus on work. My social battery also won't drain that quickly.
But with that the social aspect of work is pretty low I guess.
I was hoping to be able to find friends at work and to socialize. But no. That's not possible.

I haven't post anything in a week.
I'm not doing well at all in my job and additional to that the ones who are the most important to me aren't that well too I guess... The wellbeing of the people I like and love is even more important to me than my own.
I'm not allowed to work overtime but I worked at least 9 hours a day and am secretly working on the weekend too even though I don't get payed for that.
I struggle a lot and I feel that my boss starts becomming sceptical about me.

On Friday something magical happened at work. While randomly browsing through the address book of the VoIP client I noticed a familiar name.
I couldn't believe my eyes but there is someone with the first name "Flip". ๐คฏ
On average only 1 out of 100000 is named Flip here in Germany so it is a big coincidence. ๐ค
If I wouldn't be shy and extremely introvert I maybe would call him and say that he has a cool name.
Yesterday I rejected a sausage from the COO because I don't eat meat. Now I have to get an appointment at his office because he wants to talk to me and to get to know me.
It doesn't feel nice knowing that there are plenty of people besides my boss which can just fire me when they don't like me. Regardless of how I perform in my tasks...

Maybe the biggest downside of having a job compared to be an university student is that you always have to work.
At university nobody cared if I'm there or not. When I didn't feel well I just was able to stay at home.
With a job I have to attend. When I catch a cold I just have to work from home or get a proof by a doctor.
My mom will be all alone on Christmas eve.
It's tradition that the whole family is visiting my grandparents (my dads parents) on Christmas eve so my sister and I will be there.
My mom doesn't have parents anymore. She will be in her flat celebrating alone.
She said she will be fine but I know for sure that she will cry.
To be honest I'm tired of Christmas. I wish to be able to skip this day.

I can't tell what is happening right now in my life because I would dox myself. What I can say is that I had to call the police for the first time in my life and that the first two days at work completely exhausted me even though I didn't even really worked. ๐ฌ
Anyway... Today I decided not to drive to the company and to do home office.
I will have a 6 month trial period where the company can fire me at any time without naming any reason. If I perform well during this period I will get a "secure" position with all the workers rights and company benefits.
I think I should apply a mindset that every day I survive is another Xโฌ I earned. Regardless if I get fired or not...
What I earn a day is more than what I got from my parents and grandparents a month combined.
Maybe this mindset will make me a bit less anxious.
I just came back from the supermarket where I "met" someone I know.
The person in front of me at the cashier line was one of my school friends.
I tried to establish eye contact to say hello, but he was ignoring me and treating me like I'm invisible.
He clearly was avoiding me... When I realized it I did the same...

I had to do a video chat to verify my identity with a bank because I opened another bank account to be able to separate my earnings and to get a debit card.
The company advertises that the verification process takes less than 5 minutes.
For me it took about 20 minutes.
I was shaking so much that the person wasn't able to take a picture of me and my ID card.
He was telling me again and again that I have to hold still because everything is blurry for him but this put me under even more pressure... ๐คง
Anyway... The last few days of me being free are there. Then I have to work 9-5...

You probably will be mad at me when I say this but the reason for my emotional breakdown is that I got a job.
I got an offer with a higher salary I asked for and will start working beginning from the 1st December.
Everyone around me was so happy hearing that I finally got a job after so many rejections. But I only was happy at first.
I started feeling extremely anxious.
I also got invitations for 4 Christmas parties by the company. I will reject 3 of them later.
It's just too much for me.
Anyway... I can't talk about it but the reason why I got this job and was rather "relaxed" is kind of a miracle and coincidence.
But I'm so glad that I now can invest serious amounts, build my wealth and will be able to financially support the people I deeply care about.

This time it's a Rhyperior Lv.X from Legends Awakened printed in 2008.
This card is the second Lv.X card I pulled as a kid. I remember someone wanting to trade a huge stack of bulk cards for this single card back then. ๐ค I refused for sure.
One of the biggest struggles for me in the near future will be to realize that earning money is hard.
I never really had to work for money. Money was always there because I'm not someone who spends a lot of money and my grandparents are generous.
Having a job also means having less time for hobbies, friends and stuff you like to do.
I would appreciate if BTC could pump to 200k$, BCH to 10k$ and XMR to 30k$.

You can imagine that my portfolio is bleeding. I currently can't even afford spending some BCH on Japanese snacks on Zenmarket like I used to in the past two Decembers... ๐คง

The last time I calculated the value of my Pokemon collection I estimated about 3000โฌ.
But that's sadly not the reality.
For example in the picture you can see 7 minty German Garchomp Lv.X cards. Last one sold for ~60โฌ.
BUT this card is listed and sold only once every 3-4 months on the open market because it's so rare in a mint condition.
If I would sell only one of them everything would be fine. But I won't be able to sell my whole collection because this would drop the price by a lot. ๐ค๐๐
Safely selling my whole collection probably would take a year or so...
This scarcity probably reminds you of FTX's FTT, Binance's BNB, Bitcoin.com's Verse, Crypto.com's CRO where the company holds the majority of Tokens. The only difference is that these tokens are a "cash grab" to enrich their company. ๐ฌ

I received a recruitment test by a company which I have to solve until Monday morning.
It's about adding functionalities to a Java Spring Boot application and designing an UI and a database schema.
They told me that I should be able to solve this within 2 hours. I'm already working on this for 14 hours in total. ๐ฌ
