Hello everyone☺
How are you all?
Today my friends @JvAnora asked me to write about shutki😍 Firstly I wanna tell shutki means dried fish
We call it shutki but I think you know it as dried fish☺
Shutki is a Bengali word that connotes dried-up or anorexic which stands for dried fish or shrimp, and it is inextricably associated with the overpowering smell that emanates when being cooked.
There are various types of shutki (dried fish) available like-
⭕Chingri shutki( dried prawn )
⭕Bhetki shutki ( dried bhetki)
⭕Ilish shutki (Dried hilsha dipped in oil and salt)
⭕Shidol shutki( this are small fish dipped in oil )
⭕But the most popular is Loitta shutki (Dried bombay duck or Bombil or Bumia)
The Shutki has very pungent and smell and the preparation is very hot those who can bear heat can try making this fish 💁
People staying in Bangladesh Ocean side area mostly prepare these dried fish
Let's show you some shutki 🤷♀
We can eat this shutki in various ways☺
