Feliz Día de San Valentín /Happy Valentine´s Day!

Mucho se dice acerca de la celebración del día de San Valentín. Algunos dicen que es una fecha netamente comercial. Otros, sencillamente no le prestan atención.

Lo cierto es, que es un lindo detalle honrar aunque sea un día conscientemente, el valor del amor y la amistad.

En el trajín del día a día, terminamos dando por sentado muchas cosas. Una de ellas es que nuestros amigos, entenderán cuánto apreciamos su presencia en nuestras vidas y en los momentos importantes.

Si bien es cierto que no es necesario un día en específico para ello, el Día de San Valentín es un buen momento para detenernos y darle gracias a nuestros amigos por su amistad, por acompañarnos en los momentos buenos y en los no tan agradables.

Y tal vez sea también una buena ocasión para hacernos el propósito de reconocer el valor de nuestros amigos con más frecuencia durante el año.

No es necesario dar regalos costosos. Una simple tarjeta hecha a mano o un mensaje es suficiente para decir a la otra persona: "Estoy aquí y agradezco tu presencia en mi vida".

Many things are said about the celebration of Valentine's Day. Some people say that it is a purely commercial date. Others just don't pay attention.

The truth is, it is a nice detail to honor, even if it is a day, consciously the value of love and friendship.

In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we end up taking many things for granted. One of them is that our friends will understand how much we appreciate their presence in our lives during the important moments.

Although it is true that a specific day is not necessary for this, Valentine's Day is a good time to stop and thank our friends for their friendship, for joining us in the good times and in the not so pleasant ones.

And maybe it's also a good occasion to make a resolution to recognize the value of our friends more often during the year.

It is not necessary to give expensive gifts. A simple handmade card or message is enough to say to the other person: "I am here and I appreciate your presence in my life."
