COMMENTS:
On this page, I wanted to give more prominence to the scene of the defeat of the Midori´s angel since it is an event that triggers many actions in the future.
I wasn't quite sure from what angle to present the battle or how to set the scene. One day while I was having lunch at work, I took a napkin and started scratching it without any intention of drawing anything concrete. I always preferred to have lunch alone at work as I took advantage of the moment to think and develop the story while I ate.
Suddenly, I saw it clear! I began to define the lines and the pose of both characters. I kept my napkin in the drawing folder that I always carried with me wherever I went and when I got home I started to draw until I achieved the scene. I had been trying for days and couldn't draw anything that convinced me.
Sometimes the ideas do not need thin paper and special pencils, sometimes they start in the corner of the final page of the notebook, on an invoice or as in this case, on a napkin. That's how capricious the muses are! XD
Meanwhile, Kyrsiel wants to appear a lot of responsibility by asking what Midori's angel is doing ... Gersiel would say "smoke and mirrors!"
Until the next article!
