Detecting disloyalty.

Disloyalty does not happen over night. Becoming disloyal is a process , most people are unaware of the fact that they are becoming. Many leaders don't notice disloyalty among their sheep.

There are two reason I think you should know the stages of disloyalty :

* it will help you to identify and kill any such tendency within you.

*It will help you to know and identify disloyalty in any person you work with.

Stages of disloyalty.

First stage: the independent spirit.

This stage is so subtle that most people don't recognize it to be disloyalty. When a person is belonging or work in a company, group or organization develops a independent behavior, he sort to become autonomous within the setup. The rules of the organization no longer control him.

As a Christian we need to watch out for deacons and leader who have independent spirits. Leaders may call for several meeting, but a person with an independent spirit decides to attend only those he feel are important.

Second stage:offence.

The second stage of disloyalty is offence. Jesus said," and they shall be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another (mattew 24:10). From this scripture you can see that people begin to betray and hate one another when they are offended. The Bible says folks will betray you when they are offended.

I have always been wary of wounded people because I know that they can turn against me. The spirit of offence opens the door to the spirit of treachery.

Dear reader, look around you and observe those who have been wounded by one event or another. If these people are not genuinely overcome their hurts, hear the world of the spirit today. They are potential seperatists and they can easily become your enemies.

Third stage: passitivity.

After being offended by one thing or the other people become passive. When a person is in the passive stage of disloyalty, he doesn't involve himself in much. He sits and watches unconcerned and uninvolved. The passitivity is dangerous bacause you are more into the critical stage of disloyalty.

Fourth stage : critical stage.

A disloyal person is not passive forever; he progress into the next step of being critical. This is the stage of noticing and magnifying faults. In church , he finds faults and notices all the deficiencies of the surroundings. Miriam had become critical of Moses. She had follow his leadership all the way out of Egypt, but now she began to see his fault and humaness. And she spoke about his marital problem.

Fifth stage : the political stage.

When a person becomes political, he tries to involve others in the ideas and philosophies. Politicians operates on the power of people's opinions. Many politicians can't tell the truth because they want to please people. What people think and say is what concerns them the most.

When a person is becoming disloyal he tries to involve other people in his treacherous ideas. He makes people think their is a particular problem that must be addressed or solved. This is what exactly Absalom did.

Sixth stage : deception.

One thing that i am sure about is that people who rebel are grossly deceived. If they were not deceived they wouldn't do some of the things they did. Most people who have rebelled have ended up in destruction.

Seventh stage: open rebellion.

This is the stage where deceived insurrectionists fight openly against authority. This open fight comes about because of the confidence the rebel develops over the months and years.

Eighth stage : execution.

It is a known fact that the rebel of the Bible didn't end well. A curse is a solem invocation of divine wrath on a person which results in evil or harm. Look closely at the rebels of the Bible and decide for yourself whether a disloyal person is blessed or cursed.
