God doesn't like lazy People. Some people think they can cure failure with louder amen and 'I receive it' affirmation.
They believe they can pray themselves into success! Such a theological misconception!Prayer is the key. But no key can open a lock unless there's an effort to get the padlock open. Efforts like knowing which door to open, which lock to open and which not to open is paramount. Throughout the pages of the Holy book, God has never befriended a lazy and indolent and do-nothing sluggard. For instance, God sent the manna in the wilderness but the Israelites had to go out to pick the manna.
Whoever remained indoor died of hunger. Again, God used Moses's rod to divide the red sea so they could cross over. Whoever refused to walk was killed by the Egyptians. The nature of God is that of a hard worker.
God worked for 6 days straight and rested on the seventh day. That kind of God is not lazy. There's no amount of speaking in tongues that will bring you success if you're lazy and feeble. If you sow a seed for instance, and continue to pray for the seed instead of watering the seed, it will die. No matter how you pray, the seed will die because you're not obeying the law that guides such natural phenomenon!
Jesus for instance recruited disciples that were hardworking. These guys were doing their mundane businesses even before Christ came calling. They were Jewish. Practicing Judaism at that time but were not sleeping in the synagogue speaking all the temple idiolect but some were on the sea fishing and hustling. So you need to match your prayers with action.
Infact is figurative when Jesus said watch and pray! You're to be the salt of the world. You're commanded to be the light. A light must shine. It takes effort for light to dispel darkness. It is not a mere amen.
Be industrious. Faith without work is dead. Yes dead!
But if you think you have failed, instead of living a fake life; Go back and start it over. It is more honorable to start it over than to fake it. Being a mathematician, I can't count the number of times I had to start solving a particular equation over and over just so I can get it right.
Surprisingly, the glittering image of a fake life is ephemeral. It is a facade of life actually!
In retrospect, the way and manner in which the social media frenzy has made people to fake their lives is scary. No long grammar. You're doing yourself. Old age will come and your eyes will ooze tears whenever you hold a smartphone. Only then will you find yourself trying to live it real at the exit of life!
Put your pride and ego aside and get to work. Your pride won't pay your bills. Your ego won't feed you. Infact statistics show very few people get rich and remain rich through inheritance.
Bottom line, no matter how heavy your parent's account is, you better get to work.
After all your father's height is not your height. No matter how tall your grandfather is, you need to grow your own height. There is nothing like a shared purpose.
You have a purpose. Living a fake life is not part of it.
Good day friends, make a change today!
There's usually an underlying reason for laziness. For me, it was a self-sabotaging behaviour because of a fear of failure.
