Today we went for a walk minutes before sunrise. My daughter and I have that routine. And since my niece and nephew are visiting us, today all four of us went out. Exercising in the morning makes us feel good, energizes us and above all makes us thank God for a new day, a new opportunity, a new breath, a new quality family time. Time is the accumulation of all the moments lived. Your life will be determined by how many good or bad moments happen because of you or around you.
Time is the most valuable treasure we as humans can have. Money comes and goes, family and friends come and go, even talents come and go. However, Time is that which goes away and does not come back, it leaves never to return. How important it is to spend time on the things that matter, with the people that matter, and above all with the attention that matters.
Sometimes to have quality time you must devote full and undivided attention to the people you love the most. Being there for your family is crucial, but really being there - with the TV off - cell phone off, not eating, and all chores and busyness on pause - make them feel truly special and loved.
Conversely distractions, postponed activities, or failing to listen can really hurt your loved ones. Whether it's spending uninterrupted time talking with someone else or doing activities together, you can deepen your connection with your special someone by sharing your treasure of time.
Here are some tips if that person closest to you is the one who likes to spend quality time with you.
1. If you are in the habit of praying together with your family, add some extra time to spend together, while spending quality time with God.
2. Invite them to the park, mall, or some tourist site, then take them out to dinner and ask them how they spent their day.
3. Try not to always focus your conversations on the chores at home. Put chores aside and focus on asking your partner or children questions about how they are feeling, how they spent their day, or what new plans they have.
4. Watch a new movie together, and then ask them what they thought of it.
5. Love your family with an uninterrupted, focused conversation, with special moments where you do something fun together.
Life is full of moments, it's up to us to make them memorable, worth remembering, and anecdotal over time. At the end of the day, you will realize that Quality Moments are Powerful Communicators of Love.
What quality moments can you tell me about? Thank you for sharing your treasure of time in these minutes reading my post.
