When Everything comes Crumbling
May 3rd, 2022.
When everything comes crumbling.
The first step: breathe.
The second step: smile.
And the third step: don't know yet.
And that's it, we've taken all the steps we know so far.
Define your own world.
Define your own life.
Break the rules and be a lone wolf, or follow them and be a sheep.
Make your own game, do what you want and make your life worth living.
Love is the only thing that matters, treat people well and everything will work out in the end.
Love yourself more than you'll ever love anyone else.
Define what happiness is for you and make sure you're pursuing it every day of your life.
Take a look around you, at all of humanity, at every species on this planet and realize that nothing matters in this world except love.
Life is short, so use it to its fullest potential.
Don't let your anxiety or depression define your happiness because they shouldn't slow you down or stop you from doing anything you might want to do with your life.
Live the way you want to live now, with no regrets and no apologies, because tomorrow isn't promised to anyone and we never know when it might be here for us.
Everything that comes crumbling may fall apart if we let it, but as long as we're resilient enough and strong enough to pick up the pieces and move on with our lives, then nothing can take us down for good.
Live well, live often.
Not everything is perfect.
Sometimes we have to live with things that aren't working. Or, in the very least, we can't figure out how to make them work. Whether you're living with a bad roommate or stuck in a marriage that's not working out, there are ways to navigate difficult situations.
When everything comes crumbling down, it's essential to build a foundation that is strong enough to withstand any storm.
When everything comes crumbling, what do we do?
We prop each other up. We put each other first, always. We put our children first and make sure they know how much we love them and how proud we are of them. We are their safe haven and the place they run to for comfort, because ours is unconditional love.
We strengthen our families by teaching our children through example that brown skin is beautiful, as is black hair and all shades of brown. We teach them to strive for excellence and push themselves every day to be their very best selves.
We rebuild together with hope, faith and love in our hearts. We pay it forward and help lift others up. We take care of each other when times get tough and get creative when resources are limited. We never give up because when everything comes crumbling down, we must have each other's backs.
We stand tall together against hate, racism and bigotry. And if anyone tries to knock us down, we will stand even taller and fight even harder. Because when everything comes crumbling down, we fight for each other, in support of each other, with each other — as one people united in common cause for a better tomorrow for us all.
When everything comes crumbling, what do we do?
When everything you've worked for starts to fall apart. When the world tells you no one cares. When the pain is too much to bear and you feel like giving up. When your back's against the wall and you feel like you're going to lose it all. It's tough out here, we know.
In times like these, we find ourselves asking questions like "Why me?," "What if my friends don't want me anymore?, and "How can I make it?" But the truth is that "Everything" is always happening to everyone.
When you're feeling at your lowest, it's easy to succumb to fear and doubt yourself. It's hard not to be affected by what society tells us about ourselves, but sometimes a few good people who see the bigger picture are all you need to turn things around. A lifeline in the hours of darkness, and a beacon for future generations to follow when at their lowest points.
To anyone lost in despair or darkness, hang on. There will be a tomorrow and there will be a brighter day.
We go back to what we've always done, but this time with a new understanding.
We go back to who we are and the values that define us. We go back to what we've always done and the foundations that never crumble. We go back to family and friends and hope that they will be able to fall back on us. We go back to love and faith and trust in the idea that everything happens for a reason.
We go back to our roots. We go back to zero, knowing that when everything comes crumbling, everything that matters will still be here.
Succumbing to fear means am tired, to me, its suicidal and have promised myself never to give up
