Pain in life is inevitable, whether because of our own fault or that of others. However it is there, we should not allow it to dictate what will become of us moving forward. The one thing that can get us through the darkest times, the greatest of challenges and most painful situations is our attitude and perspective.

Life is all about finding the light in darkness. It is in the moments when we are at our lowest that we can choose to give up or choose to find a way to rebuild even stronger than before.

No matter how dark things may seem in the moment, they can always get better if we try to find something to hold on to. We can always look for something positive and regain control over what may be an otherwise dark situation with a positive outlook. We can make a choice to be happy and pick ourselves back up after a fall.

Coping with pain is a very natural thing, we can only wish and hope that we will be able to conquer the pain.

First and foremost, it is very important to be able to discern the difference between physical pain and emotional pain. Physical pain is more of a physiological process that cannot be controlled directly, where emotional pain can be dealt with more effectively. Once this has been determined, there are some things you can do to help overcome the pain.

When you feel pain, understanding its root cause is very important, if it is caused by a disease it may be prudent to see a doctor. When you are feeling physical pain, do not avoid or deny it, instead acknowledge it and let your mind take over.

Find ways to let your mind relax, stress does not help any form of pain get better or go away any quicker. If you are in severe pain or have a condition that needs immediate medical attention, you should seek medical attention immediately.

Every human on this earth has experienced pain, it's a natural phenomenon. We are bound to go through pain in life, when it happens, what do we do, how do we cope with pain?

So how do we cope with pain? To start with, one needs to understand the meaning of pain. Pain is defined as a hurt distress or suffering of body or mind.

Okay, from the definition above, pain is a feeling, so what is emotion? Emotion is a strong feeling derived from one's circumstances, mood, or relationships with others.

Pain is something that none of us can avoid. It’s in our lives even before we’re born and will be in our lives even after we die. And for some of us, pain is something so intense that it can shut us down, make us do things that we wish we didn’t do and make us feel the worst we have ever felt. The fact that pain makes you cower down and feel bad about yourself is the worst part.

Thinking through theis, I remember some years ago, I had just gotten to work when we got word that a coworker was in the hospital, hit by a truck while he was on his way to work.

It was a freak accident, and our coworker, 23-year-old would never walk again. I sat in my cubicle, alone, numb and frozen in tears. The pain was unbearable: both the pain of his accident, and also the pain of seeing someone else in so much pain.

I left early that day, went home, and fell down into a pit of depression. I couldn't stop dealing with it, the memory of seeing another human being like that continuously played in my head over and over again. It felt as though it would never stop. Every time I closed my eyes I saw him laying there, broken and bleeding.

I'd always been good at keeping heavy things inside me. And I had always dealt with it on my own. But that day at work, I just wasn't strong enough to do it on my own anymore. I needed help.

I started to come to terms with the fact that I was human, and that sometimes pain is unavoidable — especially if you keep it all inside you. With time, it began to heal and things got better again. With time, I became stronger than before; able to talk about things instead of keeping it all bottled up inside me.

The issue of pain is one of the most challenging aspects in life. It may lead to depression, and the person will not be able to learn anything new. He or she will be constantly wondering why everything is happening to him or her.

We all know that sometimes life won’t be fair to us, we will have to deal with pains in order to learn and grow. Pain is a common phenomenon, but the intensity of pain will be determined by the situation you are coping with.
