PERSIMMONS from Sagada Last time I was walking around Baguio city market, they were being sold for 100 pesos a kilo (around $2). It was too expensive for me especially since I can eat it for free at my hometown. When I travelled back home on tuesday, my mother said these were the last harvest for this year. I brought about 50 pieces with me when I came back to La Trinidad. I distributed them to my friends and fellow boarders. One of my friends told me she never tasted one and was hesitant to try but loved it when she had a bite. These three are the ones I left for myself. As you can see, they're starting to rot so I need to eat them tonight.

GOOD MORNING S A G A D A 🌞 Haven't been home since August and it's so good to be back. Sipping coffee while staring at this view is so relaxing and healing at the same time. Today is a national holiday and most of my relatives will be home. I will be visiting them especially my grandparents and great grandparents. I haven't bonded with them for months so I'm quite excited for the stories we'll be sharing with each other😁

This day is the start of our university's foundation week. It was announced this morning that there would be no classes until december 2. The school invited singers to perform and organized events but as soon as I heard that there were no classes, I immediately came home to fix my things. This supposedly would be my first and last time to experience the foundation activity but I decided to go home to our province tomorrow instead.

"I N A Y A N" One word that holds deep meaning and power in the Cordilleras. It is a reminder to do good at all times, to avoid conflicts, and to prevent oneself from doing inhumane acts. It tells us to respect our neighbors, nature, and all living things. When we do, others will also do the same to us and our loved ones. Meanwhile, it is a warning to those who go against the concept of goodness, honesty, and respect. Bad actions will be reciprocated in a negative way. Growing up, elders instilled this value in us and it is what I live by. As my grandfather always tells me and others, "If we lose our value of Inayan, we lose the good relationship we have with our fellowmen and the environment". 📒

Study set up✍️ Our university will be hosting the Bar exams so we're back to online classes for a few days. I stayed inside my room yesterday. Today, the weather is perfect to stay outdoors. It's not sunny nor rainy thus I figured I'd set up a hammock at the terrace.

🎶San ka punta to the moon Road trip vroom vroom Skrr skrr zoom zoom🎶 Stared at the valley beneath me One glimpse and I felt free Put all my worries behind me To the moon I did flee Going into my thoughts deeper I was then a dreamer For yesterday was a breather The moon became my healer 📍Rocky Mountain Adventure, La Trinidad, Benguet

Is it just me or renoise is no longer working? I was about to renoise a post but it was not getting through. I don't think it's not due to poor internet connection since I can comment and am even playing music on youtube.

📒My Sunday Routine Every Sunday at 5am, I wake up, take a bath, and prepare myself to meet the Lord. First mass starts at 6:30 thus I need to be out of the house at 6-6:15 since it takes 10-15 mins to get there. After the mass I come home and eat my breakfast. Since I go to school from Monday - Saturday, I sometimes do my laundry on Sundays. The remaining time of the day, I rest by sleeping and watching kdramas or movies. Took this pic after the mass ended. You can see students from the Philippine Military Academy who attend their weekly religous involvement also.

📒Finding Peace in Solitude In today's fast-paced, constantly connected world, it can be difficult to find time for ourselves. We are constantly bombarded with demands from our jobs, schools, families, and social circles. As a result, many of us struggle to find the peace and solitude that we need in order to recharge and feel rejuvenated. The thing is it doesn't have to be this way! Spending a little time every day on our own can be extremely beneficial for our well-being. By taking simple steps to reconnect with ourselves and finding a quiet "me-time" each day, we can begin to feel more peaceful and fulfilled.

@Puneg

My friend called me earlier asking me to visit her at their place. We got together for pizza, barbecue, and uhhmm yogurt but as you can see, my laptop is on. I still need to finish one activity due 11:59😒.

@Puneg

Yey! No night class today😃. I hope my instructor recovers soon. She posted this in our google classroom. Guess I'll have more time to study for the quiz tomorrow.

@Puneg

Attended my class today and just came home. My cousin visited but I was not able to meet him. Though he brought us this buko pie, one of my faves😋

Starting my day in panic.... I was supposed to review but dozed off to dreamland🤦‍♀️. Told my brother to wake me up at 12midnight but it seems that he also went sleep early last night. Now I only have 3 hours left to process everything in my notes😶 Btw. Good morning fellow noisers✨️

@Puneg

Aside from the bit of new lessons I learned today, I figured that our university wifi does not allow access to noise.app and bitcoin.com wallet🙃. When I opened the app at school, my account was logged out and when I tried logging back in, it kept saying request aborted or something like that. On the other hand, my wallet was not refreshing and it said network error. I thought it was because of poor internet connection but nah since youtube was working. Meanwhile... these are some of the parasites we viewed under the microscope this morning🪱

Around 1am earlier, my friend called me asking if I have cooked rice. I told her I only ate bread for dinner and did not cook. I'm living in a boarding house with my younger brother btw. Since I was alone in my room, I went to join them at the floor below us. I was craving for coffee and my friend gave me one sachet of mangosteen coffee. When I got back to my room at around 3, my tummy began to ache and I started to get diarrhea. I didn't sleep well cause of it. I messaged my friend awhile ago to ask her about it and turns out the coffee stimulates bowel movement🤦‍♀️. Only problem is I have class today at 9. Though I think the coffee effect is starting to wear out. Well good luck to me then😶

@Puneg

Why is it that I can easily memorize song lyrics in a few minutes but can't remember what I just read a minute ago? Studying has become so difficult for me since the online-based learning modality. Even at school, I don't seem to be learning much. I struggle at taking down notes because I can't recall what my instructor said seconds prior. After the class, I come out of the room unsure if I learned anything new or still have the same amount of knowledge as when I entered😓

@Puneg

Noooo. It's the last day of our acad break and balik sa school nanaman bukas. Wala na ba talagang extension?🥺 Ang bilis parang hangin. Di pa ako nakakapaglaba dahil kay paeng tas pasukan na naman bukas. Plano ko ding labhan sana yung mga pinalitan kong kumot pero di na nagawa. Aystt

@Puneg

Was not able to go home to personally witness this again this All Saint's day but uhmm this is how we do it in Sagada, 🇵🇭. Instead of candles, Sagadanians use "saleng" or fatwood to light fire on the graves of the departed. While tourists call it the Festival of Light, this has long been a tradition for the locals to remember their loved ones and is observed in solemnity. 📸 Dako Bagano

Ill will can arise due to a few different reasons, but the root of it is usually something done to us or by someone close to us. As kids, our parents taught us always to be good and kind to others. Still, as we grow older, we become exposed to situations or experiences that cause us to develop negative feelings towards other people or groups. In most cases, these feelings don't last forever because we are able to move past them as we grow older and develop healthier ways of relating to others. Unfortunately for some people, some of these feelings may last a long time even after the situation that caused the negative emotions is resolved. Often, we want our pain to be recognized by those who caused it or even wish for them to experience the same. While it's normal for people to feel angry, hurt, jealous, or resentful sometimes, these emotions aren't healthy and can affect how we interact with others.

Got bored when the power went off so I opened this coloring app to kill off time. I chose this halloween -themed mickey and minnie photo to color. My classmates would say I'm too mature for this kind of thing but nah, one is never too old to color. Besides it reduces stress and exercises the brain. Typhoon Paeng is in action here in the Philippines so I can't go out right now. Hoping my fellow Pinoys here are safe. My prayers go out to those affected by this storm🙏.

✨️The Innocence of a Child✨️ I heard this convo between the 2 kids who were behind me earlier as I was walking home. K1: Do you know the difference between being invincible and invisible? K2: No K1: Being invincible means you cannot be defeated or that you cannot be destroyed while being invisible means that you cannot be seen. K2: Oh really? I wish I was invisible so that I could get all the foods I want to eat. Haha. How bout you? What would you do if you are granted the ability to be invisible?

Hiii! It's the start of our academic break today and I decided to finally sign up here after reading about it in noise.cash so here I am😁. I have been busy with school that I did not know we had an app already. While in noise.cash, I wondered when they'd launch an app. I even remember the fake app sometime ago which brought about confusion to some users. Glad it was sorted out and now here we are with the real deal. It will take time to adjust here but I'm sure I'll be fine interacting with the friends I made on noise.cash again and of course, meeting new people🤍

@Puneg

Wait whut? There's an app for noise already? I haven't been much active lately and I just read about the noise.app while browsing. I'm missing a lot here but I can't help it. I'm swamped with schoolwork😩 Anyways, I'll sign up for the app during our academic break which starts on saturday.

@Puneg

Happy Sunday!🌞 Took this after the mass concluded for the weather is great today. Luke 18:14 "For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." This was a part of the gospel reading this morning. Indeed, we do not need to bring others down just so we could rise up.

@Puneg

Just got home from my last class. Supposedly, my last subject today should be until 3:30pm only but we had a make up class til 7:30pm. I do have other days when my schedule would be until 7:30pm but I always come home straight after dismissal and never got to appreciate this view of our university at night.

@Puneg

It's 2 minutes to midnight here in the Philippines🇵🇭 and I'm up studying about feces (the swirls of poop look cute though😆) . After more than a week of absence, I will finally attend my classes tomorrow. Thing is my classmates informed me we'll be having 3 quizzes tomorrow so now I'm still up late.

@Puneg

Update on these two cutiees🐈‍⬛️🐈 I had shared about Hwasa and Kio here before. When I brought Kio home, both didn't get along at first. Kio being younger only knew how to play and so she would tease Hwasa by sneakily touching his tail. Hwasa, on the other hand liked to just lie down and be at peace so he was sometimes annoyed when Kio was being playful around him. He used to ran after her whenever that happened. It's just funny that they are now inseparable and are even expecting kittens together haha.

@Puneg

Gosh. It's been awhile since I was last active here. I just got discharged from the hospital yesterday. It was covid. I've been absent for more than a week now and I can't sleep thinking of my missed quizzes and activities. I'm not sure if they'll allow me to attend my face to face classes since I still have a cough. Though I really miss going to school, I'm worried I won't be able to catch up.
