PERSIMMONS from Sagada Last time I was walking around Baguio city market, they were being sold for 100 pesos a kilo (around $2). It was too expensive for me especially since I can eat it for free at my hometown. When I travelled back home on tuesday, my mother said these were the last harvest for this year. I brought about 50 pieces with me when I came back to La Trinidad. I distributed them to my friends and fellow boarders. One of my friends told me she never tasted one and was hesitant to try but loved it when she had a bite. These three are the ones I left for myself. As you can see, they're starting to rot so I need to eat them tonight.
