30 Days of Gratitude continues
*"So long as the memory of certain beloved friends lives in my heart, I shall say that life is good".* Helen Keller https://www.azquotes.com/quote/155015?ref=friendship-memories I will be merging 4 topics in one post today as I am eager to talk about them. Today is another beautiful day and I believe all will be well. Did you guys notice we have shorter days and nights? I think I am the one who noticed it because for two days now, the day has been fast and before I know what is happening, the day is already gone and the same continues the next day. A future event I am excited about I am still thinking about the event but can't think of any except my NYSC which I am anxiously waiting for. I can't wait to put on those khaki clothes and be called Corper B. I can't wait to receive the monthly salary as I have been planning what to do with it. I won't share my plans with you ππ I have been praying to God for the best and most peaceful state to be posted to as I wouldn't want to go to the north. Never and God will not allow it. The state on my mind though is Akwa Ibom State (The south-south part of Nigeria) as I was told those people there are very nice and friendly. They have this kind of treatment for corpers and he said I will enjoy my stay there. Another said I should pick Abuja but I am afraid because the cost of living and feeding there itself is expensive. Though I believe in what God will do as it is now, let me cut my coat according to my size. For now, let me keep wishing the best while God takes charge of everything. Some positive news I've gotten recently Should I call it news? The school I graduated from began a strike yesterday and would last for a month and looking at it, the convocation ceremony would be postponed and that would allow me to earn more and save for the day. Clearing results is expensive in my school here and I need to gather more money to do that. Also, that would in one way delay my service too. With the news plus crypto being down, then it is good news to me because I don't want to touch any coins for now. I hope crypto will bounce back before calling off the strike. Then another news I got yesterday was my Aunt with her children came back to Nigeria from the US for holiday with their father. I called to check on her last night and I got the info that she is around in Lagos at her husband's house. I thought something would drop in my account but I am not someone to ask for money unless they do it and if it gets tough, I wouldn't mind opening up to ask for help. My favourite area in my home That is my bedroom. Yes, I love being locked in my room and doing things with no distractions. I always want to be alone as I would concentrate on doing many things. A memory that makes me smile I have a lot of memories that make me smile but let me narrate this particular one. This was the memory I had with my friends in school. The memory of getting up early to go to school but only to disturb ourselves during lectures. Whenever I remember such a moment, I just smile thinking of how naughty and playful we have been especially when the lecturer is in class but we were never caught. There are times we would cooperate and pay attention especially when the course is a tough one that needs to be given full attention so you don't fail when you are given assignment or test. Memory that I do my assignment a day to submission. Whenever we are given the assignment to submit after a month or two weeks, I don't remember until my friend asks if I have done it. I would scream and start running up and down. Why did I remember this part? We were given an assignment in church during workers training two weeks ago. I said to myself, it's been a long time since I have done an assignment and here comes another one. I forgot the assignment until I was taking my bath on the day of submission and I remembered. There was no way to do it since I was running out of time for church. The assignment was asked but I begged for another chance to be submitted the next day. When I got home that evening, I quickly did it after making my meal. That was when I reminisced back to those times of assignment. I just smiled. I'm super excited to hear you mentioning my own state, you're not wrong in saying anywhere. We are so nice to vistors especially youth corpers. I will be very happy to receive you. All my wishes for you is that all your prayers will be answered.
Wow really. You are from the state. So I'll get to meet you in person if I am posted there. I can't wait to take pictures with you, then make a post about it. I hope the platform will be around till that time.
Peju are you also going service?
Yeah. But not immediately, I still have two more years before graduation.
Wow really? You are from Akwa Ibom State? Then if God makes it possible, we might connect together.
Alright friend, I really pray that you will come to our state.
And you did this like what I did..combining multiple prompts on one content π€£.. I don't have any exciting events to look forward to. Just waking up each day is already a big thing π...
π€£π€£π€£ I decided to mimic you with that method.
Bedroom for whole day sleep is my best option. I am excited only about my salary π. We should remember all the days that are our smile source.
Hahahah! When I am working too, then I would be excited about receiving salary π
Lol... my year 2 was the worst for me. If we are given assignment for 5 weeks, myself and my friends won't do it until a day to submission, we will rush it and finish what others did for days in hours. The result was always good but the pressure was too muchπ€£. These are sweet memories.
There would be pressure oo and no time for other things ππ those moments ehn...but thank God for today.
Aww. I'm happy for you Princess as you take the new step toward your journey in your career. Enjoy and be safe.
Amen. I appreciate your wishes.
You are blessed darling, I'm also looking forward to the day I will graduate too,my excitement will know no bounds thenπ₯°
God will make the day a success for you dear.
I pray for the strike to end soon so that I personally can go back to school. Like you've said, I really need to put on that khaki uniform. Doing assignment late was always my things back when I was in primary school, but the story is different today.
I pray so too. Students are really tired staying at home.
Recently, there are a lot of things going on and it made me smile. Like, meeting old pals, replanting, and caring new rabbits. Except the crypto market haha.
It's an happy time meeting with old pals and I can see you are enjoying your moment with your rabbits.
I have heard a lot of good things about the state you mentioned earlier, from how they welcome visitors especially youth corpers, sucurity of life and property is assured. It wouldn't be a bad idea if I wish to serve in the state. It's always fun to see other students running around the lecture hall trying to get their assignment done on the submission day.
I hope I am posted there too but I wouldn't object God if He decides to do His own will.
Anywhere you are being posted to, I pray it will be good enough for you.
Amen. Thank you dear π
I don't know how you people find the strength to be excited about NYSC, I am so not looking forward to it because I see it as a big stress π You should also pray they don't take you to some eastern states like Anambra, Abia and Imo, those places are on fire right now. Awka Ibom is actually very good, I pray you get it
Ehn, those place you mentioned, I don't pray to go there oo π God will definitely do the best one for me.
You're absolutely right, in fact, I hate when the days go by so fast because it doesn't give anything a chance, and I like to be very
Been in that juncture a when I just had to do my assignments at the deadline date but that gets me in trouble everytime π.. I do wish you a good destination for service and a place of your choice as well
Yes oo, we tend to get into problem but thank God the issue of assignment has never put me in trouble with submission. Thank you, Gozie.
I do forgot a lot of things too lol! When I do remember, it's already too late to do anything about it. Good luck with your NYSC. I hope you get to spend time with your aunt and family :)
Lol, what we could have done at the right time to save ourselves, would become late due to our procrastination π Amen. Thank you sir
My favorite area in my house is definitely bedroom and kitchen π
I know you too like food π
