A day at the beach

I slept off the previous night in an exhausted condition. I followed my boss to a party. I still do not know why my boss would choose me when I am only a secretary in her office. She has a male personal assistant and I couldn't think of her picking me instead of him. Anyways, she dropped me off in my street while I walked down into my estate. It was really a bad day because I did almost all the tasks at the party. Was that why she chose me? To work the hell out of me? At least, I would be free till Monday. I got inside, threw my bag at a corner, I struggled to remove my shoe with the other leg while I laid on my bed, off to the dreamland. The dream began and I saw myself at the beach, sitting on the chair with a magazine in my hand. I was feeling bad about the condition in my country, especially the fuel scarcity. I was taking the snacks beside me into my mouth as I used the other hand holding the magazine. *Hello Damsel! Can I sit?* Perhaps the earpiece didn´t allow me to hear anything. Then I saw a hand coming down to my lap. I removed the earpiece quickly What do you want? Are you trying to rub my lap just like that? *And he said he was trying to get my attention since I couldn't hear him the first time he said something* Oh! I am sorry if that was the case, I was taken away by the music I dropped the magazine and gave him my attention Yea, gentle man, how may I help you? *It seems you are the only one here? I might join you in the fun if you don´t mind?* With a smile popped out of my face, I asked Did you come alone or you are trying to bring up a fight later because I wouldn't want any trouble? *Trouble? From who? Oh, I got you there.* We both laughed hysterically *Don´t worry, no one's gonna put up a fight here. Besides, I came with my friends (pointing towards the other side) They are over there.* The friends could understand what was happening and they waved at us immediately. *Do you know what?* What? *You are so beautiful. I just couldn´t let such beauty get away just like that. Why are you alone at the beach? I thought the beach is for lovers and couples?* I watched him while he continued. This guy wants to ask if I am in a relationship. I knew where he was going but I had rather go with the flow Yea, I know, but I just decided to be here alone because he traveled. *Wow! In a relationship?* *I must be late then. He smiled, bringing out his set of white teeth.* Then my mind wouldn't let me rest because of that and I told him I was only joking I don't have a boyfriend and no one has traveled. I saw his mood changed perhaps he liked what I just said Then he stretched out his hands and was like *"We would be good together right?"* WTF? Well, I kinda like a smart and fast guy. He was trying to shoot his shot before anyone. Yea, we will, stretching my hand too for a shake like an agreement between us. *Okay, let's have some fun in the water to celebrate the new relationship* I smiled while he took me by his hands, taking me down to the sea and enjoying the moment with him. His friends also came and we all introduced ourselves, then the fun began. After a few moments, I decided to take my leave but I forgot to take his number when all of a sudden, the sound of my phone rang disrupting the dream. I screamed aloud because of this as I just missed an opportunity of getting his number, perhaps it would come with me back to life 😃 I checked my phone and I saw a message, *"Hi, this is Paul. Your boss gave me your number at the party yesterday. Can we hang out later today?* What? My boss! Why would she do such a thing without my permission? Being my boss doesn't mean you shouldn´t give me respect either.
