Our University Library Tour

Looking back at my college days, my friends and I favorite place in school is our library. We usually went there to review and study out lessons, or have a quick nap because air-condition is life.

It's good to look back those old days where I crammed before my major exams and getting scolded by librarians for being so talkative inside. Librarians were all strict so my friends and I always received our first warning. (Luckily we didn't get detention lol)

This is our library's lobby. They customized this book shelves and formed this in letters C I T which means Cebu Institute of Technology.

This is one of my favorite part. I love how they make this look cute while at the same time useful.

This is the main entrance of our library. This was during the opening of our library after it was renovated.

Senior HighSchool and College students are the only one allowed to go inside. Elementary and Highschool pupils have their own library which is located near their respective buildings.

What you see are the college girls wearing their school uniforms. We were all excited to finally see the whole renovations.

This is the first thing you will see once you entered the library.

Bookshelves are found at each side of the library. You can see easily see the books thru searching it in an E-log. There are computers at the librarian's station, students usually type the exact book or topic in the e-log. Books are also arranged according to its topic. There are sections were you can find all the Mathematics books, sections for Science books and etc.

These where we usually sit when we study. I love the cozy sofas and lights of this place. It feels like I am in a Cafe. Those cubicles you see are soundproof. You can discuss everything in there. It was designed so that students could talk about their plans regarding their thesis or they can discuss the topics as a another way of reviewing. There are rooms where you are also allowed to have big discussions with your classmates. The room has transparent board, a Smart 55" Tv, with tables and chairs.

We also have a Coffee Café located just after you enter the library. It has this cozy feels plus the place is a whole aesthetic. The mugs they are using are also customized. I can say that the whole place are customized to make it more beautiful.

This where visitors would stay whenever we have visitors. These sofas are also made by our university's carpenters. All of these place are made by them so it would not be possible without their hardwork and clean works.

This place is also where you can see all the Top Notchers. The stairs you see at the back of the sofa are the stair of names of the engineers who are included in Top 10 lists in the whole Philippines during the licensure board exam.

This is just a glimpse of a library we have back in college days. It really help us to where we are right now. It saves us from all the researches we need to comply every period. This is our go-to place whenever we need to study, do our plates, and research for our assignments. This place has become the heart of every students. We wouldn't survive our college days without these books and this cozy place where it help us study peacefully.
